“What do you need help with?” The adult asked, looking at the both of them with a sort of weird face.
“We’re not at home,” Dawn told the adult, who should be fixing the obvious problem right now. “Can we have a phone to call our parents?”
The adult looked at them and didn’t get them a phone. Instead, the adult got another adult, who got another adult, and Dawn and Andrew were told to go sit on a couch before any of the police gave them a phone. This was the worst customer service ever.

He recruited Harry, Hermione, and Ron, built a wildly illegal sleigh, and delivered magic house by house: Muggle flats, half-warmed cottages, attics full of kids pretending they weren’t waiting for anything.
Years passed. The world healed. Christmas came back to shop windows and Ministry memos. But the tradition stuck. Now it’s just what they do: Hagrid in a Santa coat, the Golden Trio loading gifts, a house-elf named Nutmeg treating the holidays like a covert mission.
