Pomni didn’t have the easiest childhood growing up, so it only makes sense to her that the universe would throw in getting sucked into an old VR headset from an abandoned office building into the dumpster fire that was her life. And while she definitely missed the fresh air among many other wonderful things from the real world—after six months of living in the circus—she thought she was finally getting comfortable and making a solid friend. Turns out, she doesn’t know jack [SPLOINK]! With an emotionally constipated rabbit, her conflicted past and emotions haunting her, sudden unexplainable weird dreams, and an even weirder AI watching her every move… she has a long way to go before she can even think about feeling normal again. Whatever normal might mean anymore…
Takes place after episode 6. This is somewhat of a slow burn, with plenty of angst and fluff mixed about. (I can’t get enough of them). Haven’t posted my writing in a long time, and all of this is just sitting in my notes app so I thought I’d give it a go again for all my fellow FunnyBunny lovers out there. I took some inspiration from the story “A Real Life” by Bnuuy_inthedark. It’s a great book, I definitely recommend!

It’s been a few days since The Favorite Character Awards.
Pomni has been through a number of bizarre things during her time in the circus. Candy truck chases, angel head horrors, minimum wage labor, athletic events, gun-filled battle royales. But none of these come close to what she witnesses on a seemingly innocent day full of beach-filled fun: Caine attempting to take his own life.
After managing to stop him, Pomni takes it upon herself (and is borderline forced to by Bubble) to help keep Caine’s mental state intact by engaging in improvised therapy sessions with him. After all, if Caine died, what would happen to the circus? And to the humans that lived within it? This was her only concern at first. But as Caine opens up to her more through these sessions, she realizes just how much the AI is hurting and how long he has been harboring these negative emotions.
Turns out Caine needs more help than she thought.
He's just as trapped in this game as they are. And worse.

Jax has been stuck in the game for ages, he's seen people arrive and he's seen people sent to the cellar after abstraction.
Running on survival mode, he instead strives to be the best driver in the circuit (and of course let the others know about it).
But when player 7 enters the circuit, things start to change. After all, what is there more to do when you reach the top? Is it just to fall? And after every thing he's done to everyone else, is there even anyone willing to catch him? To save him, from abstraction.TLDR: What if the circus but go-karts.
