Among the rest of the crew is a tall purple rabbit called Jax, who loves to cause pain and feeds off chaos. And he hates her.As the first one to not take any of his shit and give him a chance, she finds that the the fuzzy delinquent has a tender side - and she finds herself idly thinking of him. Little does she know, he's beginning to really, really like the color blue. And red.
But has he done too much damage already? Was his violent refusal to let anyone in worth the potential loss? He has decisions to make, and there comes a time when he has to choose. Pomni.....or safe, miserable, eternal solitude.
Even the most kind people have a limit, and eventually she is going to give up. After all, he is beast unworthy of love

Summary
A fantasy au where Pomni is the daughter of kinger and queenie, and she is far from the perfect princess. As far as the royal court is aware, she is a boring spinster who spends all of her time in her studies. In reality, her studies by day are just an excuse to learn more about her less acceptable hobbies by night. She's a thrill seeker. She practices acrobatics to keep herself honed for exploring her city's rooftops and abandoned buildings by night. She pickpockets just about every noble who enters the palace doors. She has a pervasive habit of poking her nose into things she shouldn't.
And then her father, Kinger, decides to marry her off to a stranger: the heir of a neighboring country. It happens with absolutely zero warning, and he avoids giving Pomni a straight answer. He seems almost afraid to.
The same night her life is turned on its head, a circus comes to her city. She immediately becomes infatuated with two of the cast members, and learns that the circus might just be a possible escape from her arranged marriage to the strange heir.

It was a common project for this type of class. In an effort to teach students about the responsibilities of parenthood, they were all given an egg to take care of for a week. They could decorate it, name it, do the whole charade of caring for it like a real child, but most importantly, they couldn’t let the egg break.

"I'll pay you no mind unless you're a good tool in the moment. I'll use you. Forget it ever happned. Rinse and repeat. Just like always," he explains.
"That's not what you did, though," she mutters under her breath like she's praying something will hear her and drill it into Jax's head on her behalf. "That's not what you did."

After their fallout, Pomni notices Jax is struggling and isolating himself more. Every attempt to approach him just leads to encounters with increasingly concerning behaviors.
The two, after running into each other, accidentally find a certain, unknown bug in this purgatory game. What appears to have just been visual actually caused them to find something that gave them a lot more control than they used to.

Jax and Pomni glitch themselves into a discovery by pure chance. They agree to keep it a secret until they can fully understand its purpose.
This only ends up showing Pomni first-hand the true state of a certain someone's mental wellbeing, and just how willing they are to do something drastic.

Summary
Kinger, the king of Harmonia, has one beautiful daughter, who he loves with all his heart. However, she wants to go out on her own.
Pomni, Kinger's daughter, doesn't understand her feelings. She's never liked boys the way she's supposed to, but she likes girls like that, especially her new maid and her new bodyguard.
Zooble has been abused by their 'charitable' father since their mother ran away from being accused of witchcraft. They just want a little bit of freedom, and to understand why the princess and her personal maid and entertainer are so hot.
Gangle grew up with six younger siblings and no money, so she took to playing music in the streets. However, her parents still sold her for slavery, but as luck would have it, the princess freed all slaves and hired her and her siblings as servants. Now if only she could figure out why the princess and her bodyguard were so hot...
14+ for abuse, alcohol, mild gore, on-screen death and execution, and things I haven't quite figured out yet.

Meanwhile in the Circus, the others struggle to decipher Pomni's sudden disappearance. Caine is stuck in a software update so he isn't aware of this predicament.

“Ugh! You’re so difficult sometimes.” It had no real bite to it, shown easily by the smile that tugged at her lips, “I promise Jax, I’ll wait for you.”
She’d probably regret what just came out of her mouth but it was too late to go back. His body relaxed, a sigh of relief flattened his tense shoulders. Jax reached over toward her and held out a yellow pinkie. Childish, maybe, but if it’d soothe his worries Ragatha was more than happy to indulge. She wrapped her plush index finger around his pinkie, an old thing they used to do. Just like many times before, Ragatha pulled his hand toward her face and pressed a kiss to their interlocked digits.
“Don’t make me wait too long, okay?” She looked at him with half-lidded eyes. Jax’s cheeks bloomed with a bright violet, a sight she hadn’t seen in a while.

I'm glad I was able to get this out before Episode 7 came out, and hopefully, that episode has some more Pomni x Ragatha scenes in it.
