They then proceed to become a vigilante team together bc they both like Batman, almost die and do die on multiple occasions, have to save bruce Wayne form himself after his robin dies, getting fucked over by life repeatedly while only having each other to rely on until they don’t. Also, Gotham is more than just a city, its a place were Jackie was made to die since someone here isnt human and exists to kill them and the world.

I first wrote this story in 2021 but I've revised it to improve character integrity and lore consistency, with several different plot points altogether (especially in the second and third parts). Prophecy stated that no one would survive the tests for hunderds of years, but 16 year old Lloyd, the first person marked to be tested proved prophecy wrong.
It's been 1500 years since Lloyd passed his test and eventually became a god. Many people failed their tests during those years. When 5 new people are marked Lloyd checks who they are, only to see they are a bunch of 6-8 year olds.
