Bilbo Baggins has been running away ever since… well, let’s just say that certain events from his past have left him heartbroken and fleeing to live abroad. That is, until he gets a phone call from an old friend that changes everything. Facing not only the challenge of taking care of his teenage nephew but also coming home to where his whole life fell apart, Bilbo is not sure if he’s up to the task. To top it all off, he keeps crossing paths with the infuriatingly handsome, tall berk that seems to be just as concerned about Frodo as everyone else in the small town.

Among those he trusted the most, is Theora of Rohan, a Shieldmaiden. Without second thought, she joins the quest. Her first task is to ride to Bree to help a Ranger against the Ringwraiths, but she is delayed.
