The maids feel it as breath on the back of their neck, chill and harsh and a warning of their Lady’s sudden arrival. The villagers see it when a lost child comes wandering back home, bright eyes dimming as they search for their now-gone guide and playmate. Lady Donna Beneviento knows it to be a hallucination, yet another conjured up by her untrustworthy mind.
You have two main issues with this: first of all, you are most definitely not a hallucination (at least not last you checked) and secondly, you’re not dead.
