You and Misa are best friends. This takes place in the Death Note story where she broadcasts, and you both go from there. She tells Light you know him, and he lowkey gets mad as hell. The memories had to be fake.
When Light touches the Death Note and the memories of his time as Kira return, he cannot accept they are true. What kind of monster could take joy from slaughtering millions? They must have been sent by Kira to distract him! Light swears he will execute the real Kira if it's the last thing he ever does.

The Kira Task Force’s building of operations has been remotely hacked into, compromising the task force's location and possibly their identities. Lacking resources and needing to lie low, L calls upon his successors Near and Mello (and Matt) to discover who is after them and their motives. While they investigate, Near and Mello decide that the Kira Task Force’s best course of action is to live under new identities and split up into several locations in Japan's largest city, Tokyo. Split up into pairs, L and Light move into Apartment 708 right next to two girls on their own mission of self discovery, love, and fame.

Summary
Takes place while Light and L are handcuffed together, Light can’t remember being Kira,
Light has always had suicidal and self-harming tendencies given the pressure put on him and his own self esteem issues. He keeps getting nightmares of the night an old classmate forces herself onto him which makes his habits worse. No one but Light knows about this all.
Since he was given the notebook most of those thoughts and his habits have slowly but surely disappeared. Though since Light is not currently in possession of the notebook anymore and therefore doesn’t have memory of it, his tendencies have returned. Light can’t act on them though, he can sometimes but barely. After all, he's handcuffed to L and he just can’t allow him to see.
Light is extremely uncomfortable and trying to hide everything from L, after all the scars aren’t old and being so close to someone when he’s so vulnerable is not ideal. Light is having a small crash-out over this and is constantly getting defensive which doesn’t help with L’s suspicions that Light is Kira. After Light wakes up from a nightmare and goes to grab his razor, L wakes up and it doesn’t take long for him to figure out what’s going on.Sorry if It's a bad Summary!
