NICO thought that he was okay... That he didn't need as much attention and recovery period compared to the first time he went to Tartarus, but each passing day, it's as if the world was trying to prove him wrong. Could it be that he was merely making himself believe this? He just wanted to be there for Will! And for that... He had to be strong, right? He thought he was okay, but is he really?
WILL still get nightmares ever since Tartarus, and can you blame him? He tried so hard to overcome his past struggles, but as Tartarus continues to torment him, said struggles began resurfacing, and it made him sick to be regressing. When can he truly start moving on? When can he start growing? What did he have to do to be as strong as Nico?! What did he have to do to grow away from his struggles for the second time? To turn this regression into progression? To overcome this helplessness that he always hated?

Percy was adopted by Bruce Wayne when he was 9, for a few years, everything was great. He had two brothers who loved him, a father who was maybe slightly emotionally stunted, and a butler who made amazing food. All of that changed when he was 12, when Jason died and Bruce sent him off, and Zeus had the outstanding idea that a 12 year-old who didn’t even know he was a demigod yet had stolen his Master bolt, when he didn't come home, they assumed he was dead (in reality, he was trying to not get murdered as he did his quest). Now, Percy’s 17, the Hero and Saviour of Olympus, a two-time war veteran, and a year-round camper at Camp Half-Blood. Of course, isn't this a great time to show up on his friends' social media pages?
All my PJO knowledge comes from the books and such, but all my DC knowledge is secondhand, if I get something wrong, sorry in advance.

But Harry’s offer doesn’t even seem to tempt him.
“Nah.” Percy smiles, but its easiness doesn’t come as naturally as it did before. “‘Course I’m coming to help. Couldn’t leave you to fight this on your own. Not even if I wanted to.”
There’s a pause and then Harry hears him whisper something under his breath.
“Just because I don’t like being a weapon doesn’t mean I won’t do it.”
Harry hates himself for feeling relieved.

Nico Di Angelo has finally started to stay at Camp-Half Blood after Will Solace told him he had friends... or at least... people who want to be his friend. The Three days in the infirmary feel like an eternity with Will hovering around, making sure he doesn't summon anything he's not supposed too. Yes, that includes wishbones. His mental health is at an all time low, his body is starting to shut down thanks to his lack of appetite, even when Will tries to get him to eat more. will seems to have more issues than expected and he realized that they're more alike than he thought.
Eventually, Nico realizes his feelings for Will and he has no idea what to do, so he goes to his other friends and Will's siblings for help, not realizing Will had done the exact same about him.--

Percy didn’t mean to lie. Truly, he didn’t. He wished he could tell everyone the truth. It would be less of a burden for him, and for everyone else. But he couldn’t. If he told them the truth, they would see how broken he is. They would see him the way he saw himself. He didn’t want that.
Part of him hoped that if he told the lies enough, they would eventually come true, like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Unfortunately for Percy, prophecies never seemed to go the way he wanted them to.
OR
Percy Jackson desperately needs therapy and other mental health help, but, unfortunately, that would require him to actually acknowledge the problem first, and he is NOT going to do that. And it's also Thanksgiving, by the way.
