I am not going to say how much older the reader is anywhere in the fic (but I am working with a 24-27 in mind its not really that important and reader can legit be just like a year or two older than Hiccup its up to you)I am going to try not to describe the reader much but I might mention a braid since thats the style

Or will the trials beyond the archipelago be too much for the dragon riders to handle?
This story will follow along the events of Dragons: Race to the Edge, with slight changes, but mostly following the series.
