“You’re losing concentration again. Control the cryo, take a break and come back.”
“Yes, Shīfu.” Said a young Chongyun atop the mountain-ey terrain. It seemed to have been years since he left the city of Liyue, though, it has only been a week.
He dropped his claymore to the ground as he sat tirelessly below a tree next to his jacket, he brushed his light blue hair back as his other hand brushed against his belt. He noticed the tassel Xingqiu had given him,
“It means me and you forever!”
He remembered Xingqiu telling him, Xingqiu had the most adorable smile on his face as he held it up to Chongyun. He sighed as he took the tassel off and threw it into the pile where his jacket was. He stood up again, grabbing his claymore as he walked back towards the training area.
‘My most sincere apologies, Xingqiu, but I’m afraid we have different definitions of the word “forever”.’
Suddenly, a gush of wind had hit Chongyun, and a small yet heavy figure was lying motionlessly onto his chest.
“Oh, yun! You’re awake!” The figure on his chest exclaimed as Chongyuns eyes fluttered open, it was Xingqiu.
“I’ll get up in a minute, but first, let me finish this chapter.” He said as he scanned the ‘Strings of Pearls’ in his hand. Chongyun looked down at Xingqiu sweetly, reminiscing on the days where he thought he could never be with XIngqiu, but all that built up to now.
“Take your time, I won't rush you.” He said, planting a loving kiss on the other's hair.
Chongyun was happy, and so was Xingqiu, everything seemed well.
