Being Xingqiu's best friend also meant that Chongyun had dealt with his friend being confused about putting the romance books he'd read into practice. He had accepted confessions, broke off relationships, and Chongyun was there to support him throughout the whole process emotionally.
or, Xingqiu studies romance, until he drops it one day to pry into Chongyun's love life. (It's okay because they're life-long best friends. Chongyun doesn't mind).
