Later that night, Fulgur messaged his friend, Vox.
Hey, I want to say that I like Uki.
Fulgur sees that Vox read his message and never sent a reply.
I like Uki, Vox.
After repeating what he said, Fulgur messages Vox.
Vox, what should I do?
It took you forever to realize your feelings for Uki, man. Maybe, man up and confess your feelings for Uki? replies Vox.
HAHAHA, no. Fulgur replies.
Why not?
He just got his heart broken because of the cheater. I'm not going to confess to him after what happened. Uki needs a break and time to heal."

it's way too soon?? If I ever confess to him right after what happened, he will get confused and might end our friendship. I don't want that!

Fuck, I know replies Fulgur, closes his phone, and sighs.
He likes Uki so much, but his feelings can wait. Uki needs a break and time to heal, and Fulgur will help him every step of the way.
In the morning, Fulgur went to visit Uki. He decided to buy strawberry shortcake and some tea.
The white-haired boy smiles at the paper bag. Fulgur turns his head to face the door and knocks, and the door opens by Uki's mother and lets Fulgur inside their home. "Fulgur! It's nice seeing you here, honey. How are you?" asks Uki's mom.
"I'm feeling great! Thank you for asking! Oh, I also got you some strawberry shortcake to eat." Fulgur replies, handing a slice of strawberry shortcake, and smiles. "I hope you enjoy it!"
"Thank you, honey. You're so thoughtful. Go ahead, Uki just finished taking a bath." Uki's mom says.
Fulgur went up the stairs and went to Uki's room. Fulgur knocks on the door before entering and sits on the chair at Uki's vanity desk. Fulgur places the dessert on top of the desk and waits for Uki. After a minute, Uki was out of his closet and gasps. "Fuu-fuu! Oh, I did not know you were visiting. I'm sorry for the mess. I have not cleaned my room— since you know."
Fulgur sighs and went to Uki. "It's alright. I understand. By the way, I got you your favorite strawberry shortcake!"
"Oh! Thank you, Fuu-fuu."
Uki hugs Fulgur, to which the other hugs back. Fulgur stops hugging the other tightly, and Uki asks, "Fulgur? What's wrong?"
"Uki? Are you alright? You lost weight."
"Oh, yeah, I'm alright. I just— I never had an appetite for a week." Uki replies gloomily. Fulgur lets Uki go and stares at Uki's sad eyes.
"Are you feeling any better now?"
"I am."
"Good, because we have a lot of things to do. But first! We should eat!" says Fulgur, smiling.
The two friends started eating dessert while they watched some movies. In the third movie, Fulgur orders some pizza and chicken to eat. While Fulgur and Uki eat, they talk about a lot of things. What Uki missed in school, what Fulgur did to Uki's ex, and more. Uki only listened to Fulgur and thanked him for always having his back. Fulgur smiles, wipes his mouth and Uki's, excuses himself to wash his hands, and goes back to bed. Fulgur turns his head to Uki and calls out his name. Uki turns his head and asks, "Why" and Fulgur laughs at Uki's cuteness.
Fulgur calls out to Uki one more time, and this time, he leans forward, cups Uki's cheeks, and kisses his forehead. "I'm here for you, angel. I'll always be here for you. I got you, okay? I love you, Uki."
"I love you too, Fuu-fuu," replies Uki and smiles.
It was never easy for Uki. Even if Fulgur helped him to be better, there are times when Uki would starts to feel insecure about himself after what Suha did. But Fulgur never gave up.
Fulgur never leaves. He stayed.
Every time Uki needed assurance, Fulgur always gave it to him. He would always shower Uki with praise and helps him to gain his confidence back until Uki felt better and healed. For four months, Uki focused on himself. He focused on healing from his past traumas. And for four months, things started to change for Uki. Uki's feelings started to grow even deeper for Fulgur in four months. He would feel troubled and every time he did, Uki would always message Shoto about it.
Shou, I can't do this anymore."
Is this about you having a huge crush on Fulgur?

Uki, why did you not confess to him before? You could have admitted your feelings when we were in high school.
I could never do that! I don't want to risk ending our friendship, Shou. You know that. And, I... I don't think he likes me.

Uki, are you serious? Stop that. You're the sweetest, most understanding, caring, and loving person I've met.

Uki closes his phone and sighs. In the afternoon, Uki invited Fulgur out for lunch. They both decided to meet at Uki's favorite dessert shop, and Uki got there first. Fulgur arrived a minute after and ordered some food for them to eat. "Fuu-Fuu! I'm so glad you're here." Uki says.
"Well, You know I would always do anything for you, Uki."
Uki blushed after hearing that and cleared his throat. "So, what do you plan on doing today, angel?"
"Can we watch a movie? Oh! I also want to buy something in the mall after!" Uki says, tasting the dark chocolate mousse that Fulgur ordered. "Sure, angel. Whatever you like."
After eating some dessert, Uki and Fulgur go to the cinema to buy some tickets. "I want to watch this horror movie," Uki says, pointing at the poster. "Let's not watch that. How about this instead?" says Fulgur as he stares at the new anime movie.
"Alright!"
As soon as they got out of the theater, Uki was missing. Fulgur could not find him anywhere. He went to look for Uki at every shop and tried to contact him on his phone, but Uki did not reply or answer his calls. Fulgur then calls Uki one more time, and finally, Uki answers.
"I'm here on the first floor, near the jewelry shop. I'll be waiting for you here, Fuu-fuu!"
Fulgur sighs in relief and goes to the jewelry shop on the first floor of the mall. He saw Uki near the shop and went to him, "You... You had me worried! I thought you left me."
"I would never do that. I want to be close to you. I want to be with you where ever we go." Uki replies, eyes staring at Fulgur's.
Fulgur smiles and walks closer to Uki, but Uki stops him. "Wait! I have something to say."
Fulgur's brow raise in confusion, and stops letting Uki do what he wants.
"I have a story to tell. Two kids met at a park. Ever since that day, the two kids became best friends, and both never want to leave each other's side. During their childhood, The little boy got bullied for being different. The little boy got violet hair just like me, and the kids at the park bully him for it. But it all stopped when his friend protected him. The next day, the little boy's friend dyed his hair so the little boy would not feel sad. Ever since the little boy had felt strange for his friend. When they got older, the little boy would always look forward to their sleepovers. He knew he already fell for the other, but his friend remained clueless about it, so the little boy kept it a secret.
After a few years, the little boy's feelings remained hidden from his friend. One day, In college, someone confessed to the little boy, and he agreed to go out with him. The little boy tries to give the other guy a chance, hoping his feelings for his friend will go, but it only grows, and he falls deeper. Even after what happened to the little boy, his feelings for his friend remained. Until the little boy decided to gather up his courage and confess."
"Fulgur, I loved you ever since we were kids. I'm sorry it took me years to say it. But I was scared to lose you. I don't want you to end our friendship and leave me after confessing. I understand if you don't feel the same way, but I really want you to know tha—" a kiss stopped Uki.
Uki was too shocked by what was happening. He was being kissed.
He was being kissed by Fulgur
And Uki kissed him back, tears flowing from his eyes. Fulgur moves away from Uki and says, "I love you too, dummy. Sorry, it took me a year to realize my feelings for you. Honestly, I was planning to confess to you today, but you beat me to it." Fulgur laughs.
"I love you so much, Uki Violeta," Fulgur says, pecking at Uki's lips and wiping his tears away.
"I love you more, Fulgur Ovid."
