Tonight was the night that Yuu would be going out with Mika to the University’s party. This party was quite major at the University, so Yuu was going to go ahead and dress as fancy as possible. Not only did he want to look good for the party, but also for his date.
As he put together his black tux with his green tie, he started thinking about what would Mika be wearing. His mind started to go in all sorts of places with him just imagining Mika himself, but quickly snapped out of it.
Yuu had been putting so much thought into his looks. The raven haired boy couldn’t help but feel insecure about the way he looked, especially his hair. Suddenly, as Yuu was styling his hair, his phone went off and he jumped up, gasping. Yuu sighed and grabbed for his phone, looking at the text that he had received. His face immediately brightened up seeing that it was Mika.

Can’t wait to see you tonight, Yuu-chan! Let’s hope we don’t get too drunk…
Yuu walked over to his couch to take a seat and began to reply to Mika.

Can’t wait to see you either, Mika! :) Yeah hopefully...although I can get a bit out control…

Then I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for you tonight! I don’t want you getting a terrible hangover…
Yuu slightly smiled at how Mika cared for him. Before he could respond, he looked up at the time to see that he had to pick up Mika soon. He then quickly responded to Mika that he would be over to his dorm soon since they had been going to the same University. Yuu then rushed back into the restroom, checking out how he looked and if he looked good enough for Mika.
When he had finished, he took a breath in and then exhaled, staring at himself in the mirror. Yuu slapped both of his hands up to his face and yelled, “Do not fuck up this date with Mika, Yuichiro!” He immediately ran for the door and almost tripped over himself. Yuu slipped on his dress shoes and slipped his phone into his pocket, as well as his wallet. The black haired boy rushed out of his dorm and quickly went over to where Mika was. Yuu wasn’t actually in a hurry at all, he just wanted to see the blonde already.
Yuu smiled at the thought of them just hanging out together at the party and talking all night long, just about anything.
Before Yuichiro knew it, he had already arrived at Mika’s dorms. Even though he was a nervous wreck, he was extremely excited to see the blonde and his heart fluttered just thinking about the other.
Yuu went up the stairs that were on the side of the building, that led to the second floor where Mika was. The black haired boy felt as if he was shaking with excitement, he had never felt this excited to see the blonde.
Yuu found himself standing right in front of Mika’s door, his shaking finger close to the doorbell. All the confidence that he had built up, completely disappeared and left him standing there with uneasiness.
However, this was Mika. He shouldn’t be afraid of him because Mika was the one that made him feel lively and merry. Yuu gulped and biting down on his lip, pressing his finger onto the doorbell which immediately made a sound.
Right after the doorbell rang, he heard Mika call from the inside, making the raven haired boy jump.
“Oh! Shit, um, let yourself in, Yuu-chan! I’m almost ready!”
Yuu’s eyes instantly went wide. “A-Alright!” Let himself in? Into Mika’s dorm room? He slowly looked to door handle and reached out for it, his hand slightly trembling. He might as well just grab for it already instead of just standing there awkwardly.
His hand dove for the door handle and hesitantly opened the door. He was immediately greeted with this sweet smell that filled up his nose. It had smelled just like vanilla and honey which made Yuu feel calm and relaxed. That scent just felt like Mika. At that point, Yuu had just wanted to sit on the couch and cuddle with Mika. He immediately stopped that train of thought, realizing his face felt extremely hot.
Before he could take another step from where he stood, Mika stepped out from the room he was in, still adjusting his tie.
“Sorry for this, I didn’t think trying to look good would take this long.” The blonde gave out a chuckle, as he went back into the room to turn off the lights.
“No, it’s alright, I understand. It took me a while too to get ready...” Yuu replied, scratching the back of his head. Mika then came back out again and closed the door behind him.
Fuck. Mika looked good. More than good. He was practically turning on Yuu right then and there. The black tuxedo with the dress shirt underneath that he wore, hugged his chest and brought out his eyes and hair brilliantly. The short, blonde hair draped over his shoulders and was practically shining. It was Yuu’s first time seeing Mika without a ponytail up, so this was a whole new experience for him. His blonde hair looked so elegant and soft and Yuu felt as if he just wanted to run his fingers through it.
Mika stepped up to Yuu and tilted his head. “Are you okay…? You were zoning out there for a second.” He gave off a huff of amusement and walked past Yuu to put on his shoes. Yuichiro blinked, slightly blushing and turned to face Mika. “Y-yeah, sorry...I was just...thinking…”
The blonde began to step into his shoes, giving off another chuckle. “Well what were you thinking about?” Yuu stopped moving as he turned to face Mika. What the hell was he supposed to say? Yeah sorry, I was just looking at how hot you are and how much you are turning me on. Yuichiro bit down on his lip.
“Erm…” Yuu just nervously laughed and walked over to the door where Mika was, avoiding eye contact. “It’s nothing! Let’s actually get going, we don’t want to be late.” Mika nodded, giving a subtle smile towards the other. The black haired boy grabbed for the door handle and opened it up, leading to the outside.
Yuu stepped to the side, with a slight smirk. “Go ahead first, Mika.”
Mika chuckled and nodded to Yuu. “Why thank you, Yuu-chan!” He thanked, stepping outside. Yuu followed after, also giving a laugh to Mika. The two then headed straight over to the place where the party was being held at.
When they had gotten there, the party seemed like it had already started by the subtle sound of booming music coming out from the inside of the building. There were spotlights shining at the entrance, with different colored neon lights shining on the pathway into the building. Everything that was around the building was decorated, even the trees. The were covered in different colored christmas lights.
The blonde snorted. “The decorations are quite...different...this year.” Yuu nodded, giving off a shrug. Yuu had noticed that a lot of the people going in were couples and a few big groups as well. The black haired boy eyed the other and looked back straight ahead.
‘It looks as if we’re a couple or something…’ Yuu blushed at the thought of that. Him and Mika being a couple. That seemed like a dream to him. He couldn’t help but feel a bit awkward now. ‘No, I need to stay calm.’
Before he could complete anymore of his thoughts, he notices that they had reached the entrance. Mika runs up to the door and opens it up for Yuu.
“And after Yuu.” Mika gave a wink at the other and Yuu instantly started to laugh.
“Did you just…?” Yuu continued to laugh, while looking down at the ground, holding his stomach.
Mika gave a sly smirk to him. “Yeah. I did.” Yuu looked back up at the blonde, who looked like he was about to break into laughter as well.
Damn.
Mika looked so adorable right now.
Yuu shook his head of his thoughts and looked back towards Mika. They both then settled down from their laughter and their eyes met. Yuu didn’t realize how blue they were. It was such a calming blue but at the same time his eyes felt so captivating.
Yuu finally broke eye contact from the blue orbs, which practically enraptured the black haired boy. “...We should probably go inside…” Yuu stated, covering the blush on his face.
He took a step forward into the building and was instantly greeted by the sound of blasting music. There were lamps all over the walls of the building. They were dimmed and colored differently from each other, periodically, gradiently changing to different colors over time. On one side of the building there was a bar area and the counter was illuminating a neon blue. Right in the center, the floor radiated different bright colors, with a stage that sat behind the dance floor. On top of the stage was DJ that was already blasting music.
“I heard this place is quite popular. Makes sense with how much spirit this nightclub has.” Mika commented, starting to walk more into the building. The blonde then turned back to look at Yuu.
“Do you want to go get some drinks, Yuu-chan?” he asked, pointing over to the bar. Yuu didn’t usually drink, but when it comes to parties like this, he will happily oblige.
The black haired boy nodded and rushed to Mika’s side.
Mika then turned to the other and pointed over to the bar. “Mind if I get you a drink?” He asked with a light smile.
“Sure, why not.” Yuu shrugged. Mika then nodded towards him and turned around towards the bar. “And make sure to get me something strong!” he yelled over to the blonde.
“How cute! You and Mika-san are getting along quite well aren’t you, Yuu-san?” Yuu instantly turned around to see the short, purple haired girl and furrowed his brow. She stood before him, her arms behind her back and a canny grin played against her lips.
“Ugh, fuck off, Shinoa..” The purple haired girl giggled as she jumped away from the angry Yuu, who was about to punch her.
“Don’t be so angry, Yuu-san! Isn’t that good?” Yuu let out a groan and looked away from Shinoa. The girl could see a blush covering his face, making her giggle again.
“Sure, I guess...but please leave us be tonight. I don’t need you fucking it for me.” Yuu muttered to her.
“Me? Ruin your date with Mika? I would never dream of it!” The black haired boy looked back over to Shinoa to see her grinning a sinister grin, which sent chills down his spine. He then grabbed for the girl’s shoulder.
“Please, Shinoa. This means a lot to me.” He then stepped back and sighed. “Even if it’s just a little crush, I can’t help but want to be closer to him.” Yuu shrugged.
Shinoa was quite perplexed by how Yuu was reacting with Mika and how close he wanted to get to the blonde, which intrigued her.
“Alright then Yuu-san.” She pumped her fist slightly in the air, smiling towards the other. “Give it your all to achieve Mika-san!” Shinoa practically yelled, making Yuu jump. However, he was thankful enough that the music was too loud for Mika to hear the girl yelling, especially with him all the way at the bar.
Suddenly Shinoa gasped, her eyes widening. “Yuu-san! Behind you!” The black haired boy instantly turned around to see the blonde standing behind him with the drinks in his hand.
“Oh, hey Mika! You’re back with the drinks, great!” He couldn’t help but smile just by looking at Mika’s gorgeous face. Yuu then fell into bliss when Mika smiled back.
“Yep! And I even got the strongest drink I could get, Yuu-chan!” Mika replied with a smirk. Suddenly Shinoa stood beside the two and grinned.
“Ooo, Yuu-chan? What a nice nickname!” Yuu instantly internally died inside now that she knew what Mika called him by.
Before he could respond, Shinoa started to speak. “So, Yuu-san, is this the date that you were telling me about? He looks quite cute, just like you said!” That made Yuu blush like crazy, especially when Mika gave a subtle laugh.
“Wow, he did? Well Yuu-chan,” By this point Yuu’s face was madly red and his eyes were completely averted from Mika’s gaze. Mika then stepped closer to Yuu and Mika rested his hand upon the other’s head. “I think you’re pretty cute too!”
“Me? C-cute?!” That’s it. Mika had ruined Yuu with that compliment and his beaming smile. All Yuu could do was stand there in shock and just stood there.
Mika turned to Shinoa. “Anyway, I’m Mikaela. Nice to meet you...um..”
“Shinoa Hiiragi! Nice to meet you too, Mika-san!” She then looked over to Yuu, who was still standing there and shock and then back at the blonde. “Well I should leave you two be. I don’t want to get in the way of you two having fun.”
Before Mika or Yuu could say anything, she skipped off towards the dancefloor where he could vaguely see Kimizuki, Mitsuba, and Yoichi dancing. Mika then turned to Yuu and pointed over to the bar area, where there was still some open seats.
“Wanna go sit over there where there are endless drinks?” Mika said with a smirk and Yuu instantly nodded. Getting drunk with Mika sounded like it would be the time of his life.
“Yeah, let’s do it!” Yuu then quickly ran over to grab a seat and that’s how their evening began at the party.
