Chapter Text
15 seconds after the end of chapter 1:
“You called me by my first name, should I do the same?” Izuku asked. Tomura nodded. He noticed the fallen ice cream, melting on the sidewalk. “Wanna go get another one of those? My Sensei gave me some money.” Izuku nodded.
Summary of their lives from this point:
These two would go on to be good friends. They were so close to each other and since they had each other they decided they needed nobody else.
Tomura would eventually ask All For One to give Izuku a Quirk. All For One had beaten All Might and decided since Tomura would get his Quirk, Izuku should get ‘One for All’, All Might’s Quirk. He found Izuku perfect for the Quirk. To All For One he was a more able version of his brother, Yoichi. He also saw a fire that could bring the world to its knees in his soul. The end of All Might had destroyed the last bit of Izuku’s goodness that Tomura and All For One had been trying to squeeze out of Izuku.
Izuku and Tomura still go out for ice cream every Wednesday, which was the day of the week they met in the park.
Eventually they end up as full blown villains, the best of the best. They ruled the world as the left and right hands of All For One.
They had comrades-The League of Villains-but they still only needed each other.
They’re both great villains and together the best of friends.
The end:
“Tomura, c’mon!” Izuku begged his friend, dragging his limp body. “You have to wake up! We need to run!”
A group of rebels had broken into city hall where All For One had settled. Tomura and Izuku were visiting, they had settled down on the outskirts of Tokyo. They were unprepared and when gunshots went off they didn’t have time to react.
Tomura had been hit in the mid-chest.
The bullet went in deep enough it could not be seen. Izuku hoped it wasn’t fatal. The amount blood flow should have told him it was. Tomura would not live past midnight.
Villains and heroes could be heard fighting in all directions. Izuku was just trying to get him to the connected rooms they shared when they visited. Izuku was freaking out. This was his best friend! The person he cared the most about in the world. He loved Tomura more than he loved himself. The two of them were proof villains weren’t the worst people in the world, they cared for each other.
Izuku was tearing up. When they reach the rooms Izuku dragged Tomura into his own room. Placed him on the bed. “Tomura- Tomura…” His voice was cracking. Izuku ran his hands over the wound. He couldn’t do anything. They were both breathing heavily. Izuku from carrying him and choking down his tears. Tomura from his lungs shutting down, the air having trouble making it through his whole body.
Tomura went still.
Izuku fumbled around with Tomura’s arm and tried to find a pulse.
There wasn’t one.
Izuku let it all out. He cried and cried and cried. He clung to Tomura’s dead body. His blood soaked his clothes. He did not care. His best friend, his villainous partner, his knight in shining armor was dead.
Izuku was so full of sorrow. He felt like it was his fault. He could have been closer to Tomura, checked the surroundings, didn’t beg Tomura to come with him to visit All For One.
Izuku stood up. He breathed. He wiped away his tears. He adjusted Tomura’s body on the bed. He breathed. He put a finger covered in Tomura’s blood on both his head and Tomura’s drawing a heart on their foreheads. He breathed. He walked to the door. Opened it. Looked back. Walked through. Closed and locked the door. No one would touch his best friend.
He activated One For All, green sparks flying everywhere.
Someone would pay.
He walked towards the sounds of the heaviest battle. Every hero would die.
He was out for revenge.

The very end, the after:
Everyone was dead.
Izuku went overboard.
Every hero, every villain.
All For One was even dead.
And so was Izuku.
He died with a smile on his face, a bloody heart drawn on his forehead, and the rest of his tears dried on his face, and his body covered with blood that wasn’t his.
He was back with his best friend.
And would you like to know his final thoughts? It was a memory actually. Of the day they met, that Wednesday in the park so many years ago.
