Chapter Text
Booker dragged the drug lord through the house towards the kitchen, while Nile made sure that the drug lord kept on breathing. As on cue, Nicky stopped the van outside the kitchen door and they threw the drug lord into the back before jumping in.
"Hi," Nile said as she looked at Booker. "Don't ask about the water."
"Ok," Andy replied. "Nicky, get a hold of Joe. We need to get moving like now."
"Leave him to me," Booker said with a smile. "Just go to the agreed meeting point."
Before anyone could stop Booker, he was gone.
"Men and their cars," Nile sighed. "Who's brilliant idea was it to let Joe drive around in a Camaro?"
Nile looked at Nicky who smiled.
"Get going, Nicky," Andy said. "For once the car nuts will actually be a help."
"Yes, boss," Nicky replied. "Nile, up with me. I need someone to cover the front."
Nile crawled up into the front just as Andy threw herself down on the floor when bullets started to fly.
"Don't look at me," Andy said when Nicky did it. "Look at the road ahead and get us out of here."
Nicky took a corner on two wheels just as Booker got into the Camaro.
"You're so paying for cleaning the seats," Joe said as he rolled his eyes.
"Instead of looking at me," Booker said as he opened his backpack. "You should concentrate on getting behind Nicky. The moment they are through the gate, stop the car so I can see the gate. I give you ten seconds to get away."
Joe saw Booker pull out some explosives.
"Do I want to know where you got that from?" Joe wanted to know.
"Not really," Booker replied as he started to whistle while working on the explosives.
It took Joe a moment before he got between Nicky and another jeep. Nicky saw Joe in the rearview window and saw a familiar smile, that told Nicky that they got a plan in the Camaro.
"Hold onto something," Nicky shouted.
Nile grabbed hold at the car handle grip, while Andy threw herself over the drug lord. Then guards standing there decided to stop shooting and threw themselves to the side when they saw the van getting near them and didn't make any signs of wanting to stop. The moment the van was through the gate, Joe spun the Camaro around in the required position and Booker threw the explosives.
"Better get going," Booker said in a calm tone. "You got less than 8 seconds left."
Joe got the Camaro going and just as he turned a corner, the explosives went off destroying the gate so no one could get in or out.
"Booker and his explosives," Andy muttered to herself. "Nicky, Nile. Are you ok?"
"Just fine, Boss," Nicky replied as Nile nodded. "And you?"
"Both alive," Andy replied. "I just want to say this one more time. This is a brilliant but also a stupid-ass plan."
They all laughed.
"Nile," Nicky said. "Where is the safe house you set up?"
Back in the Camaro, Joe and Booker were trying to find another way out of the compound, when Joe remembered something.
"You idiot," Booker said. "Why are you going back?"
"You'll see in a moment," Joe replied. "Do you have more explosives back?"
"Yes," Booker replied. "But if I use that on the wall the rest will have a tail after them."
"Just trust me in this," Joe said. "Look to your right."
When Booker saw the bazooka, he smiled.
"This is just a perfect day if you ask me," Booker said. "First a mission, then explosives, a trip in a Camaro, and now a bazooka."
Joe shook his head as he fired his gun against one of the jeeps while Booker got the bazooka. Before getting into the car again, Booker quickly got the explosives ready before firing the bazooka and got back into the car. When the wall blew up, Joe drove through the hole and Booker threw the explosives next to the big trees that fell down blocking the hole in the wall so no one could get out. Booker also saw that one of the trees hit the last satellite dish destroying it completely.
"The last time we made a mess like that was at that Nazi rally back in the 40s," Booker said laughing. "Do you think we will be in just as big trouble again?"
"Even bigger," Joe laughed. "Now Nile is here too."
"True," Booker replied. "Now about the Camaro. Can I have it?"
"No way in hell am I giving you the Camaro," Joe replied. "You found explosives, I found the Camoro. Is not my fault you are throwing away your toy all the way."
"As I recall it," Booker said. "It was my toy that got us all out."
"And as I recall it," Joe said. "It was my toy that got us out."
"Then let's play poker," Booker suggested. "Winner gets the Camaro."
"Never going to happen," Joe replied. "I'm taking my man on a ride in this Camaro up The French Riviera when I have fixed it."
Booker leaned back and crossed his arms. One day, he would get the Camaro from Joe.
"And what is the story about the shorts?" Joe smirked.
"Give me the Camaro," Booker replied. "And I will tell you."
Joe laughed. It would never happen.
"Show the way to the safe house," Joe said. "The rest still need us."
Two hours later, Joe and Booker arrived at the safe house where the rest had burned the van, their clothes, and got live into the drug lord, who Andy had gagged because she was tired of hearing him.
"Burn the Camaro, Joe," Andy said. "It's too noisy if you know what I mean."
"No, no, Boss," Joe said in horror. "I can make it disappear in a none destructive way."
"Fine," Andy replied. "You got less than three hours. We will leave no matter what."
"Tell Nicky why I'm gone," Joe said and left in the Camaro.
When Booker walked past Nile he got hit by a wet towel.
"You owe me big for getting me wet," Nile said. "That wasn't a part of the plan."
"Give me your laptop," Booker said and Nile did it. "And the thumb drive."
Nile handed Booker the thumb drive just as Booker handed the laptop back.
"I just added 10.000 dollars to your account," Booker said. "Buy something nice as an excuse from my side."
"Thank you," Nile said. "You're forgiven."
Booker smiled as he walked out to the bathroom to shower and burn his clothes.
Joe returned four hours later with a smile and kissed Nicky.
"What did you do?" Nicky wanted to know.
"Just shipped the Camaro to Europe thanks to an old contact that owed me. He will also make sure it is fixed so it looks brand new," Joe replied. "When we return we are taking a trip in the Camaro."
"Can't wait," Nicky replied. "Take a shower and burn your clothes. We leave in an hour."
Joe did it and he had just finished when Booker and Nile returned with a new van. After making sure that no one could find fingerprints or other clues that they had been there they left.
2 days later, they dropped the drug lord in a jail cell and got paid for their job. After dividing the money between them they split for now and agreed on meeting a year later, unless something else turned up.
Andy went her own ways as usual and so did Booker. Booker promised Nile to catch up as soon she was done shopping next month, while Joe and Nicky headed for Europe and for the Camaro and the trip at the French Riviera.
