Dear, Readers.
A lot has happened since I first posted this story, and as much as I hate to see it go, with everything that's gone down, I just don't see myself being comfortable enough to continue this.
I’ve tried seeing a world where I do finish this story, where I pour out my time and work to commemorate a creator who I don't particularly enjoy anymore, and there is no way for me to continue this story without feeling like I’m doing something wrong. Dream has done and said things that I do not agree with and do not want to be associated with; with how popular this series is I feel like people will begin to believe that I agree with what Dream has done, and that's just not true. I want nothing to do with Dream and while I don't hate him or wish him harm, I also don't want anyone to think I support him.
Beyond all of that, this story is just horribly written. I started writing it a long time ago and don't see any way to go back and make such drastic changes to it without somehow changing the timeline. That's not something I want, or something I have the time or energy to do, so to whoever is reading this, I am very sorry and hope you can understand why I’m deciding to do this.
Understand that this was not an easy decision to make. I loved this story when I first made it, and I hope that I have been able to properly show the passion that I had for it. I promised myself at the time that I would never discontinue this story, but that is just a promise that I didn't understand at the time.
This story is not gone, I will not delete it. This story will simply be abandoned.
A brief summary of what could have been:
After they leave the cave, Stephan freaks out about Atlas and Dream disappearing in the night. There’s a large scuffle and after a fight, Atlas ends up dying in Dreams arms.
Dream is heartbroken and nearly destroys the prime tree with newfound abilities. The entire nest creaks and groans as death pours out of the devastated elytrain. Ian steps in and is able to help him out of this panic attack. Not before Stephan gets caught in the cross fire and looses his wings.
Now crippled, the server to Elysium locks itself on something else that would be a better protector, or in this situation, Ian, becomes the new admin.
Without another word, Dream carries Atlas to the beach and buries him in the sand.
He returns to Elysium, says his goodbyes, and with Tommy and Quakckity, he goes back home. This time with knowledge of how servers are coded.
At some point, he would have opened the box. A gift from Kristin. Its a necklace that is shaped like a heart, made of diamonds and enchanted to never break, and keep whoever owns it alive forever. It also has a curse of binding on it so Dream is never able to take it off.
This is where the third book was supposed to start
The last book was going to be titled Dream Minecraft: Return to The server. It was going to be him reconciling with Kristen, lots of tears and apologies, and Kristin explaining why Dream staying would have spelt near immediate death for him.
Dream explains that he wants to essentially erase the egg from existence, but once he starts, the egg will know and want to stop him from doing so.
A whole bunch of stuff was going to happen behind the scenes, from Ian breaking into Dreams server, to implications that Phil wasn't all gone. With Dristas help, they are able to destroy the egg.
The server is scarred, and during the process of deleting the egg, the bond Dream has with it is broken and transferred into a diamond that Dream starts wearing around his neck.
Dream gives the server to Sapnap and goes with Philza to a new world where they are all able to live as one big family together. A happy ending :)

Thank you to everyone that read this story, and I'm sorry once more for the disappointment, thank you for commenting, thank you for the kudos, and thank you so much for your time. I hope this story brought you joy when you needed it most, and I hope you will make what will with the end of it.
