“Please, Lou?”
“Absolutely not, Harold. Not in a million years.”
Harry sighs.
“But why not? It would be so cute, and you have to when you go to Disney, everyone d-”
“But babe, it’s just so- It’s just- 26-year-old men don’t wear matching shirts to Disney World!” Louis practically shrieks into his pillow in exaggerated emotion. Harry just looks on tiredly from where he’s started sorting through clothes to pack for their vacation.
“But Louis, couples who love each other very much wear matching shirts to Disney. It’s a huge part of the magic , Louis. Fiancees who are extremely devoted to their-”
“FINE. I’ll wear the stupid shirt. Gosh.” He groans. “I can’t believe you’re making me do this. This is a tremendous sacrifice.” He picks his head up from his pillow and scowls in Harry’s direction. Harry just grins back, eyes sparkling.
“Thank you so much, baby! This is gonna be the greatest! I wonder if Liam and Zayn will want to… I’ll text them right now…” Harry pulls out his phone, then gets distracted by the plethora of matching shirt options he had left up. “Oh! Lou! I’m thinking we could do something super manly for you, like this one that says ‘I buy the beers’. What do you think of that?” He shoves the phone in Louis’ face, forcing him to take it as he rolls over onto his back and squints at the screen.
“...seriously, babe? ‘I wear the ears, I buy the beers’? With Minnie and Mickey?? Isn’t that sorta…”
“Hilarious? Adorable? Perfect?” Harry’s dimples appear, and Louis has to look away to maintain his composure.
“Cheesy?”
Harry immediately pouts. “But…I’m your Minnie and you’re my Mickey, Lou. And I like Disney and will be wearing ears and you don’t like Disney and will be drinking beer. See?” He grins again, trying to use everything in his power to convince his begrudging fiance.
Louis heaves a dramatic sigh before he passes the phone back. “Fine, babe, get whatever you want as long as I don’t look stupid, k?”
“Thank you thank you thank you! You’re not gonna regret it!!!” Louis tried not to smile at his enthusiasm but fails miserably. Chuckling quietly, he rolls back onto his pillow and attempts to fall back asleep.
