Chapter Text

Soon Bugs and his family (the Warners included) were back where they had started. On the green open field, famous for many skits.

“So, are you gonna just reuse the same gag?” Dot asked Bugs.

 “Yeah, pretty much.” Bugs shrugged.

“Isn’t it just too boring and simple?” Yakko commented.

“Do you want to ride a spaceship or not?” Bugs huffed.

“We’ve done that before, but sure, it would be fun again.” Yakko was met with a glare. “Alright, alright. Go on, don’t mind us.”

And with that, Bugs did what he needed to attract the famous Martian. In seconds, the UFO appeared and Marvin ran out of it with anger. After him was his dog, who stopped growling and happily ran to Bugs the moment he saw him.

After seeing the Warners though -waving at him and smiling ever so innocently- he yipped and ran away.

Bugs smiled at his old pal. "Hi there Marvin."

“Oh please, you didn’t think I’d fall for the same trick again, did you?”

 “Nope.”

“Wait- didn’t you die?” Marvin’s eyes went wide.

“That was yesterday, doc. Things change.”

“Oh okay. I’m glad to see you’re doing well now. Was worried for a second back there.”

“Thanks Marvin, it means a lot.”

“Of course, without you I wouldn’t have anyone to shoot with a laser gun.” Marvin said genuinely.

“ Ehm .” Daffy interrupted from behind, glaring at the Martian.

“Sorry, excluding the duck I mean.” Marvin apologized.

 “Thank you.” Daffy smiled satisfied.

“See, that’s why I like you Marvin. You’re always so thoughtful.”

 “Oh, you’re just being kind.”

“Oh no, I’m genuine. Look, you even brought your spaceship! You’re a real good guy, doc. You wouldn’t mind us borrowing it, right?”

 “Yes- wait, what?”

“Thanks! Let’s go, guys!” Bugs turned towards the spaceship without paying to Marvin’s protests and led his fellow Tunes to the spaceship.

 “No! Stop you-”

“Hey Marvin the Martian!” Yakko got in between him and Bugs, startling him.

“Could you give us a signature?” Wakko joined, with a notebook and pen in his hands.

“Pretty please?” Dot took her place next to his brothers, giving Marvin the cutest pleading eyes ever. “For you #1 fans?  Pweeeeaaaseeeee ?”

Marvin blinked confusedly, he liked the attention though. “Um, sure. Of course. Come here, kids.” While Marvin was occupied giving his signature, Wakko pulled a rocket ready to set off from his gag bag and tied it around Marvin -somehow successfully without him noticing.

“And a picture too?” Dot pleaded while Yakko got his phone out.

“Sure!” Marving said as he handed Wakko back the pen and notebook.

The Warner siblings grinned, “Say ‘Boom’!”

 “B-”

Before Marvin could say anything, the rocket took off with a loud  Boom  (“But why does it say that? It didn’t explode!” Wakko asked. “The author couldn’t think what this would sound like, and thought writing ‘boom’ and us explaining it would be funnier.” Yakko answered.) and the Warners waved at him. Then they ran to join the Looney Tunes.

The spaceship came to a sudden halt when Daffy, who was driving the thing (in exchange for stopping his rant about his time as Duck Dodgers- he had yet to realize it was on autopilot.) yelled. A few members of the group fell, and some rolled and stuck on the walls and glass. They were at the end of Warnernerverse.

"Final station, everybody!" Tweety chirped loudly.

"So, how are we gonna get out?" Bugs pondered, looking at the dead end.

"Like the old style?" Daffy offered as he got back on his feet.

"Or the way the A.I. did… things?"

"We'll have to wait for a while to figure it out then." Lola commented, a bit disappointed.

"Or we can simply do this." Yakko interrupted, then took out a laptop and opened Google Docs. He began writing the next sentence:

The Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) along with the Looney Tunes, after waiting for a while to figure out the way, finally were out of the Warnerverse. Getting out of the room filled with cables and such stuff, they were met with the Warner Bros. Lot and a beautiful dawn sky.

Yakko closed the laptop and put it back into his hammerspace. He smiled satisfied, "Much better than long boring paragraphs, right?"

Bugs smiled and ruffled Yakko's hair (which he protested as always). "Good thinking kiddo, we need to keep the plot moving."

"Talking about moving, does anyone know where LeBron's home is?" Lola questioned.

“It can’t be hard to track him down.” Bugs smiled encouragingly, “Last time we did pretty good finding Jordan’s home.”

“Wasn’t it because  he  told you?” Yakko interrupted.

“Doesn’t matter. What matter is that the last time we went to a basketball player’s home, I didn't have as much fun as you.” Daffy glared at Bugs.

"You've gone trough worse." Bugs said, then turned to the Warners. "Now, I think it's your first time here, correct?"

"You could say that." Yakko answered, thinking back to the time they did a commercial here. A rare, golden chance. But they weren't able to see much, nor have any fun.

"Okay, I want you to not cause any chaos- yet." Bugs told them. "Not until we find LeBron. Deal?"

"You got it, boss." Yakko grinned and he -along with his sibs- shook the rabbit's hand. Then he leaned to Bug's ear and added, whispering, "As long as it doesn't take long."

"It won't, I know the way." Bugs announced.

Daffy interrupted: "We're not taking one of your rabbit hole paths."

 "Why not?"

"You always have the wrong turn at Albuquerque." Daffy answered.

As Bugs frowned, Lola joined in: "He has a point."

"Et tu, Bruté?" Bugs gasped dramatically.

"What a drama queen. You get that from him." Dot whispered to Yakko, who rolled his eyes in answer. Wakko giggled.

"Don't worry, dears. We'll get a taxi." Granny offered.

"You have money fow taxi?" Asked Elmer.

"Umm..." Granny took her wallet off her bag. She opened it, only to see it was empty, as a fly flew out of it.

 "Anyone else?"

Everyone shook their heads, confirming the fact none of them had brought money with them. Even Yakko and Dot had checked their hammerspaces, and Wakko had burped a bank and broken it. But nothing had come out of it, except chocolate coins that the boy immediately ate.

Bugs sighed, realizing he was the only (semi) responsible adult out there. He took out his wallet. "As much taxi sounds like a better option, considering how crowded we're, I offer we take a bus-"

"Road trip with so many loud strangers that some of them might be potential special friends?" Dot exclaimed with sparkles in her eyes.

 "You can call it that."

Yakko and his sibs looked excitedly at each other. He knew his sibs shared the same ideas as him. It would be so good!

The bus road trip had ended up with the most unexpected and yet expected result.

 They were kicked out.

“So what do we do now?”

Bugs sighed, “Leave it to me.” He took out his phone and scrolled through his contacts.

Daffy, who was covered with various white feathers, leaned to look at who Bugs was gonna call. Definitely not the Quackbusters. Once he saw it, he glared at Bugs. “Couldn’t you call him earlier?”

Bugs answered without sparing any look at him, “No.”

While Bugs talked on the phone, Dot sighed. “We might be on a deserted road, but at least I don’t have to listen to that stupid song. Who would even play The Gummy Bear Song?”

 “And Numa Numa.” Wakko nodded.

 There was a pause.

Then she and Wakko heard in terror their older annoying brother half hum half sing “Maya hee maya hoo maya haha”. Dot glanced at Wakko, who nodded in response. They were gonna erase that smirk from his face.

When Bugs was finished, he heard a loud sound and turned only to Yakko pancaked and his siblings smiling victorious with their mallets in their hands.

“Kids, get ready, we’re leaving soon.” Bugs called.

As if on cue, a limousine came in at light speed, and after everyone got in it, left at the same speed. In minutes they were standing in front of LeBron's home's door. "Thanks, Roger. I owe you one."

“You could do that the whole time?” Porky asked this time, clearly not surprised but disappointed.

“Roger is a busy fellow, Porky.” Bugs replied. Then turned his attention back to the house in front of them. "A nice home, huh?" Bugs commented.

"I don't know about you, but I can gladly live here." Daffy said, his baggage in his hands.

"Agree!" Yakko joined, him and his sibs also pulling out their baggage.

"I'm sure LeBron will like a visit from us. Can't be sure about Daffy, though.” Bugs ruffled Yakko's head, and again he protested in return.

Before the duck could answer, the doors opened and revealed a woman holding a little girl's hand.

Bugs smiled recognizing the woman. "Kamiyah!" He called, waving his hand.

The woman's eyes widened upon seeing him and the rest of the Tunes and the Warners. "Bugs?"

Bugs approached her, “Surprise! Bet you’d miss us so badly, so we decided to pay you a visit. Isn’t it nice?” He reached, trying to look inside the house. “So, where are my good pals LeBron and Don?”

Before the woman could answer, the duck pushed the rabbit aside. “It is not how you greet a friend when you’re visiting. Where are your manners?” He crossed his arms and glared.

“ You  are talking about manners?”

“I thought I taught you better.”

“Daffy,” Bugs warned. “Should I remind you of the accident of ‘02?”

 “You wouldn’t dare!”

 “I would dare.”

“So you wanna be a bad influence on the kids? Bring it on!”

 “This means war!”

Yakko watched the two argue, and slowly drift to a fight, somehow ending up the rest of the Tunes joining as well.

As the Tunes fought, Yakko led his sibs at Kamiyah. "Pardon their behavior, and let us introduce ourselves. I'm Yakko."

 "I'm Wakko."

"And I am Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca Warner III. But you can call me Dot. Call me Dottie and you die."

 "I-"

"We're the Warner Brothers!" Yakko and Wakko sang.

"And the Warner Sister!" Dot added.

"Yeah, I know you. It's very nice to meet you. I am Kamiyah James." She introduced herself. "I'm just surprised to see you. You weren't in the team like the rest, correct?"

"True. But we watched it all." Yakko nodded.

"Couldn't miss such a good show." Dot said.

"And you watch our show?" Wakko asked excitedly.

"Yes, we do. Xosha enjoys your cartoons a lot." She smiled at the little girl, who grinned at the Warners. Yakko thought if she was a toon, she'd have stars in her eyes.

"It's time for Animaniacs!" She exclaimed.

"Look at that! A fan!" Yakko grinned, tail wagging fastly. "Betcha you'd like a signed picture?"

"A picture with us?" Wakko added, bringing out his camera.

"The very special mallet shaped like a heart with my name carved on it?" Dot joined, bringing out her giant mallet.

"Yes!" The girl clapped her hands.

"Hold on, dear. I need to talk to them first. Then you can play with them as much as you want."

 "Aww..."

"We can play tag while you talk." Wakko offered.

Kamiyah looked unsure, but Dot smiled confidently. "No worries, ma'am. I'll keep an eye on them."

As the kids started running, Yakko watched them. "Dot's good at it, really. She sometimes kept an eye on Mindy when Buttons needed a break." He said proudly. "And Wakko's good with kids too. Anyways, till Bugs will be available, I'll be answering your questions. One dollar per minute for the service."

“What's going on?" Kamiyah asked, her question loud and clear.

"Oh, it's just we stole Marvin's spaceship -again-, I came up with a brilliant idea, hopped here for a visit to your husband and son. Where are they, by the way?"

 "Just for a visit?"

"There's the fact Bugs has been glitching too, but it's kinda a long story. Would cost ya lot. Oh, did I mention Daffy lost a fight to a chicken- not a toon one, mind you."

 "What-"

"That chicken was cheating." Daffy retorted, joining Yakko while fixing his beak.

Foghorn followed him, "I say, yes I say you fought well son. That was an unfair fight."

Yakko could see the rest of Tunes didn't agree, the way they looked at them told it. Finally, they stopped the fight.

"So, doc. I see you've met the kids." Bugs smiled, looking at Yakko.

"He told me you've come to see LeBron and Dom." She nodded. “You good, Bugs?”

"Yeah, don’t worry. Are they here? Got very important questions to ask 'em."

"Sorry, you just missed them." Kamiyah frowned. "They left for Game Design Camp. But LeBron will be back in a while. You can wait in if you'd like."

 "We'd love to-" Daffy grinned.

"Sorry doc, but I think I'll try my chance by trying to catch up with LeBron." Bugs turned to his friends. "I'll be right back, you should wait here in case he returns."

 "But Bugs-"

Lola was interrupted by Daffy, "You heard the rabbit. Gotta respect his choices." and then he ran in, others followed his lead- except the Warners and Lola.

Kamiyah called for her daughter. She followed the Tunes, a worried look on her face.

 "What's happening?" Wakko asked.

"Bugs wants to go after LeBron, he's leaving his son to a Nerd Camp." Yakko explained. "Alone."

 "Without us?!" Dot gasped.

"It will be much faster." Bugs pointed out. "And somebody has to look after them." He lowered his voice as he nodded toward the house.

 Yakko smirked, "You got it."

"You can't leave without me." Lola glared.

"But I have to," Bugs whispered but Yakko could hear him well. "Who else can keep an eye on them?"

Oh, Bugs thought Lola could keep them in line?  We'll see that...

Lola glanced at the children, who gave her their most innocent smiles ever, a halo appearing on each sibling's head. Then she looked back at Bug's eyes. "Fine. But be careful."

Bugs smiled at her, then gave her a hug. After parting with her, he proceeded to give the kids tight hugs as well. “If you need anything, call me, okay? Whenever you need to.”

“Okay, we’ll annoy you every five minutes.” Yakko confirmed.

“Wouldn’t expect any less from you.” Bugs ruffled his hair as he broke the hug.

He stomped to the ground, opening a hole. Right before jumping in, he heard his phone ring. Opening it, he was met with Wakko’s voice. “It’s not even five minutes, kids.”

“You said whenever we need.” Wakko replied.

Bugs sighed, “Yes I did. See ya soon kids.” He waved at them, then jumped into the hole.

While Lola watched him leave, the kids ran into the house. By the while Lola would turn around, they’d be gone already.

Bugs had already found the man. It had been surprisingly easy. Now the two were walking back to LeBron's car, chatting.

The rabbit smiled at LeBron as the man asked if he truly would bring the whole Toon Squad with him. "No LeBron, actually they are already here."

 "Here?"

"Not exactly here, back at your home, waiting for us…"

 "My home..?"

"We thought you'd be there." Bugs shrugged.

"I see. They wouldn't cause much trouble, right?" LeBron asked, trying to be polite. When Bugs said nothing and only smiled, he already had gotten his answer. "Right…"

"They're the Looney Tunes, doc. I can't promise anything." Bugs said. "But if it will make you better, Lola is with them."

 "Oh thank God." LeBron sighed.

 "Oh also…"

 "Also what?"

LeBron's phone started ringing. He answered the call and met with his wife's voice. Saying he'll be right back to the rabbit, he walked away for privacy. Bugs couldn't tell what she was saying, but he hoped it wasn't anything too bad. He could hear LeBron's answers though:

"Yes, Bugs is with me… No, I know. I mean I just learned but they will be staying with us, if it's okay with you too, of course… What? Can you repeat that again?"

Bugs knew what they were talking about at this point. He slowly approached LeBron. "Erm, could you ask if anything is on fire, doc?"

"What?" LeBron exclaimed. Bugs wasn't sure if it was to him or his wife. Perhaps both.

Bugs heard his wife answer: "I know, I am not sure what- Oh my Gosh there's a fire."

 "What- where? Is everyone okay?"

"Yes, it's just the basketball machine." She sighed. "Lola just said she'll take care of that, but I am not sure how she is going to do it while Wakko is sitting on it, eating the balls…"

"Wakko? He had used his arson rights for the week!" Bugs scowled.

LeBron turned to him, confused. "Arson rights?"

"Yeah, the kids each got one arson right for each week, out of their world."

"Bugs, arson is illegal!" LeBron shouted.

"Don't say such things when you're near my children." Bugs crossed his arms.

LeBron's wife shouted from the phone: "LeBron, I need to hang up, there's a giant cake in the kitchen that keeps getting bigger-"

Bugs took the phone from LeBron's hand and said, "Let Wakko eat it and you'll be fine! Just don't let anyone else near the cake. It might be a bomb cake."

Then the call ended. LeBron turned to Bugs, "Your children? The Warners are your children?"

"Ehh, yeah, sort of?" Bugs smiled.

LeBron blinked, "I… didn't know about that."

"It's something only few do, really." Bugs kept walking. "Let's return before they do something that makes your wife scream."

"Yeah. Yeah, that's a good idea." LeBron followed him. "You don't think they'd mallet anyone, right?"

"They're the Warners, LeBron. Not idiots." Bugs rolled his eyes. "Trust me, they're smarter than you think. They wouldn't hurt anyone unless provoked."

 "Unless provoked?"

"Yes, because if anyone's rude, you should know the answer already." Bugs smirked. "This means war."

Yakko saw Kamiyah closing her phone and heading to the kitchen. Considering how fast a fire started, things were going pretty well.

He was talking with Daffy when Wakko and Dot befriended LeBron’s kids. This led to two different scenarios that made Kamiyah panic.

“What did she say to Bugs?” Dot appeared next to him.

“Nothing about you, Dottie.” Yakko smirked.

“So you’ve chosen death today.” Dot glared at him, yet her tone was sweet.

“Not so fast sister sibling. Not if you don’t want Bugs to know who’s responsible for the cake.”

“The little girl said she’d love to try one of my cakes!”

 “Tell that to Bugs then.”

“And how will you tell if you’re dead?”

“I made a deal with Wakko.” Yakko smirked.

“I can offer more.” Dot smirked as well.

 “Can you?”

 “...”

“That’s what I had thought.” Yakko victoriously grinned.

 “Okay, fine.” Dot huffed.

They heard a yelp and both turned to see Wakko snacking on the cake with an enormous bite, not caring about the giant crumbles falling. The poor woman was asking him to be more careful.

“He’s gonna be in biiiig trouble.” Dot sang.

“Definitely.” Yakko grinned. “I don’t think Bugs will be too angry, though. I am worried about Lola.”

“Oh, I am worried about Porky.” Dot said. “He wanted to make good first impressions. You know how he is, he’d rather go insane later on.”

 “Geez, you’re right.” Yakko nodded.

“Better win his heart beforehand.” Dot headed to the house.

“I’ll join you later.” Yakko said. “Tell Porky I said hi.”

“Sure. Call me if you find anything interesting.”

 “Will do.”

"Is Bugs like your dad or something?" Kamiyah asked.

Yakko shrugged, "Perhaps. He likes to think like that. We ain't protesting as long as he keeps buying us quality ice cream without having us trick him into it." He grinned. "Scratchy can be as good as him too at this, but he needs to work on his ice cream decisions, and it would be better to get some without a lecture as a bonus sometimes."

 "Ice cream?" She smiled.

"Yeah, it's nice. He also does buy other things, and sometimes will take us to places like the cinema or a park. And join in our fun too." Yakko hadn't realized his tail started wagging. "He even wanted us to have a part in Space Jam: New Legacy, but apparently some people in the studio hadn’t agreed and thought we would be too much." He smiled smugly, "If only me and my sibs were in the field. You bet Toon Squad would've won in the first five minutes."

She giggled, and Yakko wondered how much of it made sense to her. "It's a shame you couldn't get in the team then."

"A big shame. They lost a really big opportunity by not having us as stars. Imagine all the money they would make if only we were in it. People would love it."

"Yeah… You're good at toon stuff, I bet they would."

 "Of course we are-"

"Because they learned from the best." Daffy cut in.

Yakko raised a brow, "You? Taught us? Should I remind you I'm technically older than you. We've been doing it much longer than you."

"But you learned a lot of important tricks from me."

"Oh right, like how to not be a loser." Yakko smiled smugly.

"See, by following my steps you won't be a loser. You'll be a star."

"Uuuuuhhhh I think you got it wrong, pal. I meant not to be like you. Thanks for showing us that."

Daffy turned with a glare and he probably was going to say or do something at Warner’s reply, Yakko never learned since Dot jumped into the duck’s arms so suddenly that he fell down.

 "See you later, Daffy."

"Hey Daffy, can you fix my hair?"

Daffy shook his head to get rid of the stars turning around his head. Looking at Dot, he saw nothing wrong with her hair. "But why? It looks good enough like that."

"Good enough isn't enough, that's why!" Dot huffed. "Bugs can be back anytime, I must be ready for possible photographs. Can't look bad when I'm posted on an Instagram page with millions of followers."

 "Fair enough."

"Also there is a chance that cops and news service can pay a visit and I can't look bad on TV and on my mugshots."

"Ah, so true kiddo. Let's add some slight make up too."

Yakko heard the door open. Time was up! Bugs would be here any time now, so he had to get his plan started quickly.

Bugs sighed, as he expected he could see the chaos. Nothing unusual for his family, something that soothed him. Anything looney and maniac was a part of his nature after all.

LeBron, however, stared in shock. He probably wasn't expecting so many things happening at the same time here. He glanced at Bugs, who shrugged with a smile, and then sighed in defeat.

"Don't worry, doc. There's nothing that cannot be fixed." The rabbit reassured him.

"Bugs, the basketball machine is on fire." LeBron replied.

Bugs turned to see the said machine. "Right, it sure is great."

LeBron groaned. Foghorn Leghorn, who saw them from where he stood waved at them. Bugs waved back while LeBron smiled at him.

As they approached Foghorn and Granny, Foghorn grinned widely. "LeBron! We've missed you!" He pulled him to a hug, "I say, yes I say that's very nice of you to let us stay."

"Of course, man." LeBron grinned back, then looked at both toons, "Say, have you seen my wife?"

"Oh, she's in the kitchen, dear. Cleaning the mess, I think." Granny answered.

 "Is Wakko helping?" Bugs asked.

"I guess so. Last I saw the kids were heading there."

"Thanks Granny!" Bugs headed inside the house, with LeBron after him. He let the man lead though, since he didn't know where the kitchen was.

Opening the door they were met with LeBron's wife who was looking startled at Wakko- thrice his size and very round- and Lola, the only person who was cleaning the big crumbs scattered around.

"Bugs! LeBron!" Lola's face lit up. "You're back!"

 "Hey Lola." Bugs greeted her.

LeBron waved, then walked to his wife. She was glaring at him. "The next time we have surprise guests you take care of the dinner."

"You mean now, don't you?" LeBron smiled bashfully. Bugs wondered if something similar happened before between them.

"Yes, I do. Now." She confirmed.

"Of course, sweetheart." He kissed her forehead. "Thanks for taking care of them while I wasn't here."

"You can return the favor with a fancy dinner." She winked.

 "Noted." He grinned.

"What did Dom think about the surprise?"

"I've never seen him so excited since the basketball game." LeBron smiled brightly. Behind him, Bugs and Lola smiled at each other.

Lola turned to Bugs, "Did you manage to catch Dom?"

"Nope, but LeBron said he could talk with Dom soon." He answered. He still was a bit worried about the whole glitching problem.

"It will be all alright soon, okay?" She held his hands and smiled at him encouragingly.

Bugs smiled back, grateful for her support. For everyone's support. There was something in those words that made him believe everything was possible. Everything would be okay.

A loud  barf!  interrupted the moment. Bugs saw Wakko laying with his eyes shut. "You okay there, bud?"

 "Ate too much."

 "I don't believe a word of that."

Wakko opened one eye. "You don't?"

 Bugs shook his head.

 "Oh. It's fine." Wakko shrugged.

"What-" Bugs couldn't finish his sentence when two pies hit his head with full force. A third one joined a second later. Bugs, now laying on the ground surrounded with pie, saw Yakko and Dot standing behind him.

 "Revenge, sweet revenge." Yakko smirked.

"Ah, good one kiddos." Bugs said. Of course, they hadn't forgotten their little pranking game. Real-world or not, the game was still on. "A simple yet effective one didn't even hear you approach." He complimented as he got back on his feet, with a little help from Wakko.

"You won three points." Bugs announced. "But you're still losing a point."

 "What? Why?" Yakko shouted.

"Because you broke the arson rule." Bugs looked at Wakko. "I saw the basketball machine."

"It was an accident." Wakko said.

Bugs raised a brow. Then turned to look at Lola and Kamiyah.

Lola shrugged, "I was inside at that moment."

"I am not sure either."Kamiyah said.

Bugs turned to Wakko, "Alright, I'm believing you kiddo. But be more careful next time, okay?"

 Wakko saluted/promised, "Promise!"

"So we got three full points?"

"You got three full points, but be on alert." Bugs pulled them into a hug. "You're dealing with Bugs Bunny."

"Oh no, his ego is showing up again." Yakko rolled his eyes.

"You've been hanging out with Daffy a lot." Dot commented.

Bugs saw LeBron approach and let the kids go.

"I don't think we've met before, I'm LeBron." He offered his hand to the Warners.

 "I'm Yakko,"

 "I'm Wakko,"

 "And I am Dot!"

They all shook his hand with overexcitement at the same time. "We're the Warner Brothers-"

 "-and the Warner Sister!"

LeBron smiled, even though the three kept shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you, Warners." He grinned like a child. "I never had thought I'd be able to meet you personally."

"The feeling is mutual, pal." Yakko said as they finally let his hand go.

"Is it true that your son can help dadoo?" Wakko asked suddenly.

"I believe so," He nodded. "Just let me make a phone call." And with that, he left the kitchen.

Kamiyah said she had to check on her daughter, told them to call her if they needed anything, and then left.

"How are the others doing?" Bugs asked.

"They're doing good, everyone seems to be having a good time." Lola said.

"Last I saw Daffy, he had happily accepted the little girl's request and was styling her hair." Dot added.

"Sylvester and Tweety are doing their usual thing. I think Porky and Elmer were looking at some old tapes with Darius." Yakko said.

"Do you think they found anything?" Dot asked.

"Dunno, let's check it out." Yakko offered. The three kids left running.

Bugs smiled after them, "The accident was just his curiosity, wasn't it?"

"Yeah." Lola smiled. "He wanted to know how far this machine could work."

He then noticed the couple and remembered the cake accident. "What about the cake? Who did that?"

 "Dot."

"Ah. And the prank idea belonged to Yakko, I guess?"

"Probably. He was the one who called them saying he had a brilliant idea."

"Heh, kids." Shaking his head, Bugs walked out of the kitchen. As much as he hoped he'd find some peace and quiet, he was met with pure chaos.  Home sweet home , even if it wasn't technically his home.

Half of his family was doing their usual running around, while the other half was chatting with their hosts.

Bugs wasn't able to see what everyone did though, Dot was by his side already, pulling his hand with a big smile.

"You have no idea what we found!" She said excitedly. "World's best shows' tapes!"

"Oh? So some of my skits?" Bugs raised a brow.

"Don't be silly." Dot shook her head. "It's  our  skits! From '93!"

Then she proceeded to pull him to the other side of the living room, where Wakko was standing with a box filled with tapes.

 "Where's Yakko?" He asked.

"Went to bring the VHS player with Darius." Dot answered.

"We thought we could watch some of them." Wakko said, his tail wagging.

"That's a great idea kids." Bugs smiled.  A little peace and quiet won't do bad to anyone.

It wasn't hard to convince the others of their little idea. It turned out LeBron's family was a fan of Animaniacs, and the Tunes knew very well how much the kids loved affection to their show.

As they all watched various episodes, joked, and laughed together, Bugs finally let himself relax a little. As time passed, they decided to watch other shows too, like The Looney Tunes Show, which both Daffy and Lola loved.

They kept talking about the behind-the-camera adventures and pointing out moments that were unscripted, yet were kept. Everyone had a story to share, but Bugs was thinking of something.

Or rather, enjoying the moment. Seeing how happy his family was. How much the kids- his kids- joked...

Goodness, he missed that. He missed all of that so much.

Who could imagine a silly basketball game would be enough to bring them back together- along with a little bit of dramatic sacrifice and glitching issues?

He was simply grateful for their existence. For every single of them being around him. Not that he would say anything, being emotional wasn't his thing. This trait belonged more to a Mouse he knew well.

Still, he smiled gleefully. From the day he met with his fellow Tunes one by one and found the Warners thanks to an accident involving a very angry Plotz and a burning WB lot. He still could remember the days the kids were distant to him, thinking he was up to something. They had pranked him, creative gags, and Bugs had pranked them back.

Something they were still doing, even after all those years.

It was good that he was one of the best pranksters. Or else he would have ended up so bad against the Warners' talents. Goodness, he was so proud of them. With how better they became with time, they could surpass him easily...

He sometimes wished to go back to the days when he would teach the kids how to do some of his famous tricks. Just like back then when his older pals- Daffy and Porky- would show him some of them.

Apparently, he was too deep in his thoughts, because when Daffy called his name he had to shout it three times at least.

"Hey old hare, are you still with us?" The duck asked, half serious.

"Sorry to break it to ya, but I am." Bugs said.

"Ah, and I hoped you'd fallen asleep with your eyes open." Daffy said, then gestured to Yakko who was laying next to Bugs. "Like your boy here."

Bugs looked at Yakko, who indeed was sleeping with his eyes open. A tiny bitty scary quirk of his boy, alright. Still was enough to make anyone who saw him uneasy. So carefully Bugs got an eye mask from his gag bag and put it on Yakko.

Just as always, Bugs couldn't help but wonder if somehow Yakko had any rabbit DNA in him too. As a rabbit, he knew very well some facts about rabbits- like sleeping eyes open. He had to know, for his own sake. No one could guess what their creator was thinking or the artist when creating them (or even simply basing them on an animal)...

Dot distracted him with a huff, "Dadoooo, I'm booooored." She pouted.

"I thought you liked to watch the good stuff." Bugs asked.

"I am hungry." Wakko whined. Now both siblings were doing the puppy eyes. And Bugs knew exactly what they wanted.

"Alright, alright." Bugs pulled them into a hug. "We can have some fun outside. Have you been to McDonalds?"

"Once, for an advertisement." Dot answered.

"Make it twice, we're getting chicken nuggets." Bugs grinned.

"Yay!!" Wakko and Dot cheered. Then they jumped from Bugs' lap and shook Yakko.

"Wake up sleepyhead!" Dot yelled. "We're getting chicken nuggets!"

"Mmm..?" Yakko yawned, then removed the eye mask. "So that was why I saw singing nuggets dressed like Merlyn Monroe in my dreams?"

"Oh shut up, come on!" Dot pulled him down from the sofa and the three raced to the door. Bugs followed them, alongside LeBron who had paid attention to the whole conversation.

Behind them, from where he sat Daffy shook his head, "And he tells me I got an unhealthy diet. Tsk, hypocrite."

  "...and uhhhh another McChicken."

  "Anything else?"

"Nope. That's all!" Yakko grinned at Bugs.

Bugs turned to the Mcdonald's clerk, "You heard the boy. That's all."

"That would be” —a loud honk from outside blocked the unrealistic price being heard by the audience— “sir." The clerk said.

"You said how much now-" LeBron's eyes widened.

"Come on kids, let's find a place to sit. I'm sure my dear friend will take care of that." As LeBron looked at him in shock, Bugs and the Warners happily walked away.

As the kids sat down on the chairs, Dot said: "I had forgotten how different it's here."

"It's been a while after all." Yakko replied. "And briefly too. Thanks to Plotz being an a–" Wakko stared in his direction and Yakko stopped mid-sentence to reword his statement. "A butt. The worst kind of it too. A stinky butt, who would be used in today's cartoons to make terrible uncomfy jokes that no one laughs at and everybody thinks is overused. Like a cringe butt. A stinking like poop one, even."

Dot turned to Wakko with a pained expression, "You really prefer him talking like that over cursing?"

"I hate it both." Wakko groaned.

Yakko was still talking, which drove both siblings mad. The result was them malleting him at the same time. Bugs simply watched, enjoying their usual behavior.

LeBron returned with all of the food (by miracle and for the sake of the fic, having no trouble holding them). As he placed the tray he asked Bugs, "So that's how they are behaving usually too?"

"Pretty much." Bugs answered, looking at the Warners who were fighting about something. They didn't notice the food yet.

"It must be normal for you." LeBron guessed.

"Believe me, doc. They go above the levels of my normal." Bugs grinned. "They're something really special."

“So until Dom fixes the little issue, which according to him was easily manageable, what are you going to do?” He asked.

“The kids haven’t been out here a lot. I think me, them and the Tunes could have some fun around. Of course with you and your family included, if you’d like?” Bugs suggested.

“Sounds good to me. Just don’t cause any other fires.”

 “No promises.”

The rest of the day was uneventful (in the Looney Tunes and Animaniacs aspect, of course). Just some public pools on fire, the kids stealing the car Bugs and Lola had rented and put posters around telling people to watch Animaniacs reboot for better health, and had done whatever insane and crazy thing you could think of that would also be fun. Included giving a new interview after crashing the mentioned car into a zoo, and Dot deciding to be a pet owner. While Bugs agreed tigers are a good choice, due to the fact they’d probably have trouble transporting the big cat they had to leave it behind. Bugs promised he’d get one back in their world, which would be a friend to Dot’s pet too.

And at the end of the day, Bugs was with his family and friends. The day was over, they had dinner and now it was time to rest. The Tunes were sharing a big room, not wanting to be apart after what had happened recently. Just for a while, sticking closer to each other. Bugs smiled and relaxed. He was hugging the kids, letting sleep slowly pull him into the dream world.

 Everything felt alright.

In the morning Bugs felt lighter. Like something was much better. Like a weight was lifted.

The next day they got a call. Dom had fixed the issue.

“This needs a celebration!” Suggested LeBron. So they celebrated and had fun. After so long, Bugs was laughing with his family carelessly again.

Yakko gained his attention by poking at his arm. “Don’t you think this is getting a bit too emotional?”

“I am sure everyone wants to be sure that I’ll be alright. That everyone will be alright, actually.”

“Yeah yeah, you’ll probably still get some bad sleep and anxiety at times but we as your family take care of you etc etc…” Yakko said.

Bugs knew this was the way the kid saying how much he cared for him. How he was glad Bugs was okay.

“True kiddo, and I’m so glad for that.”

Bugs pulled him into a hug, while Yakko yelped. “Group hug for the fic finale!” Then the rabbit called.

And with a hug and a happy family, this fanfiction came to an end.

Notes:

The water tower's door opens, and the Warners show themselves. "Space Jam: New Legacy would have higher success if we were in it." Yakko says, and his siblings nod in agreement. Then the door closes.

Notes:

Hello, Space Jam 2 was fun and gave me ideas for dad Bugs and this happened. I hope you enjoy this fic!!
