Mikey is a very attentive individual.
He may have a hard time focusing, but his memory is great, and he can easily remember small details if he thinks about them long enough.
Donnie had called it photogenic memory before April tore him apart. Or was it photographic?
Maybe Mikey will ask him about it, now that he's come back.
Or, after the Power Inside Her, April can't bring Donnie back. However, Mikey starts to see his brother around as if he never left. If it looks like Donnie and sounds like Donnie, it must be him.
It has to be him.

Summary
Mikey knew he had A bad memory, his brain having the habit to only hold onto things that It deems important, even when it's really not. However, he trusts that he wouldn't forget anything really super important, although he starts to doubt that after he starts to have dreams of things he's never supposably experienced, memories of events that never happened, feelings he doesn't remember having before but feeling a sense of Desha vu either way.
But it's no problem he's fine, until Razahr begins to say things that align with these issues, which in turn causes him to have to face these thoughts he's tried to shove down, even though he would rather do anything else.
(AKA The Branford ep but it's a bajillion times worse)
