Carina
A million different emotions were racing through my mind all at once and spilling out of me through my tears.‘Good crying’, I repeated in my head, Maya’s warm embrace comforting me. I had seen this happen all the time to pregnant mothers but for some reason I never thought it would happen to me. It wasn’t a particularly bad thing and Maya didn’t seem to mind but the constant mood swings were exhausting. After a while, I stopped crying but I still wanted to feel close to Maya so I sat between her legs, so that my back was to her chest, as her hands gently caressed my stomach and she planted kisses on my shoulders.
Arizona and Callie were still really hyped up about our announcement, especially Arizona but I think that was because of all the drinks she’d had.
“I can’t believe this is really happening!” she shouted a little too loudly, “I can’t believe you didn’t tell us sooner!”
“Well, we haven’t known for that long and we wanted to wait a while to be sure.” Maya explained, “And anyway, we never see you guys!”
“Well that is about to change!” Callie announced. “We are going to be with you guys for every stage of the pregnancy, whether you like it or not.”
“You guys know Carina is an OB, right?”
“We know but we also don’t care.” Arizona laughed, “Trust me, you will thank us.”
There was a pause.
“So… should we continue with the game or what?” Callie asked. We all agreed that we should continue, at least for a little longer.
“Okay, it’s my turn.” Maya decided.
“Well… Carina didn’t do the dare so actually she gets another one.” Callie told us. “Zona?”
“Okay.. Hmm… I dare you to… kiss Maya!” She jumped up like an excited child and accidentally hit Callie with her elbow. “Sorry.” she muttered quickly.
I giggled and tilted my head back to plant a quick, gentle kiss on Maya’s lips.
“Come on…” Arizona whined, “That was rubbish, I want to see some action .” Callie turned bright red and scolded her girlfriend, telling Maya and me that we didn’t need to do that but neither of us minded - at all. I turned around, properly this time, straddling her legs and tilted her chin up towards me. ‘I love you’ I mouthed before bringing my lips down to her’s. It started off slow and sweet but since Arizona wanted some ‘action’ Maya quickly deepened the kiss and, soon enough, we were properly making out. I pushed Maya back and she fell backwards onto the ground, her long blonde hair spilling around her like a halo. I placed my hand on either side of her face to steady myself and leaned back down to kiss her again. She slipped her tongue into my mouth and I let out a high pitched sigh. This, I would assume, was probably the moment that Callie and Arizona decided that this was going a little far but I’m not sure because Maya and I were in no mood to stop.
I broke it off long enough to see Callie and Arizona glance at each other. They were apparently making some silent decisions because they both got up and left, Arizona staying long enough to shout, “You’re welcome! Enjoy, amigos!”
I giggled and pressed my lips to Maya’s once again but we were both pretty breathless so I moved down to her neck and collarbones and resumed my actions. Maya stretched out her neck to give me more room to work with and I noticed those hickies once again except this time I was unable to control myself so I lifted her up and my hands went straight to the zip on her back, tugging it down and freeing Maya of the dress. Meanwhile, her hands were hard at work undoing the buttons of my blouse and unsnapping my bra so when I finally got the dress off of her we were both mostly naked. I marvelled at the sight beneath me.
“You’re so beautiful, bambina.” I looked into her eyes and saw that the light blue orbs were now darkened with arousal.
“So are you, Carina, you are… angelic.” she sighed. The second those words left her mouth, I surged forward and kissed her forcefully, channelling all the passion in me and in response she let out a loud moan.
“Carina.” she panted in between breaths as I moved down to her breasts, “Don’t stop.” Little did she know that stopping was the last thing on my mind. We were in for a long night.
Callie
We burst into our hotel room, laughing ecstatically.
“I can’t believe Carina’s pregnant!” Arizona exclaimed.
“I know! It’s amazing.”
“I’m so happy for them, but I’m so tired. Can we go to bed?”
“I’m tired too. Must be all the drinking,” Arizona hesitated, thinking for a moment, “Did you even drink?”
“No, I didn’t.”
“Why not? It was a night out, you could have let loose a little.”
“I know, i know, I just didn’t feel like it. Now I’m taking this suffocating dress off and going to bed.”
Arizona laughed and turned away to take off her makeup. “Oh, by the way, what did you say to those idiots after I walked out?”
“Oh - uh - basically told them to go away and that they should never hit on anyone again like that.”
“In those words?”
I rolled my eyes.
“Not
exactly
.”
There was a pause.
“I hated that they did that.”
“So did I, honey.”
“Can you imagine how many other people they’ve probably done that to? It’s awful.”
“Yes, it is.”
“And I hate the fact that now I know what can happen, I’ll be scared every time I go out for dinner.”
“Which is why I’ll be there. To make sure it doesn’t happen. Okay? I won’t let it happen.”
“I know. Thank you, Callie, I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
I kissed her on the forehead, then turned back to remove my own makeup.
After we were both ready, I filled up two glasses of water; put one by my bed and the other by Arizona’s. She was already in bed, fiddling with her fingers.
I pulled the duvet over my legs, leant my head against the headboard, and let out a huge sigh. Then i pushed myself further under the duvet, letting my head fall on my pillow, watching the ceiling.
Arizona turned over onto her front, shuffled closer to me and draped an arm over my waist, eyes closed.
She nestled her head into the pillow, smiling a little.
“Goodnight, honey.”
“Sleep well.”
I drifted off to sleep quickly that night.
