Greetings, esteemed audience, and welcome to my inaugural discussion centered around the captivating new Star Wars narrative on which I am currently engrossed. The purpose of this post is to instill within each of you, the cherished readers, a remarkable sense of anticipation and preparedness for the forthcoming tale that I am exhilarated to share. However, before delving into the intricacies of what lies ahead, allow me to elucidate the driving force behind my authorship of this story.
Personally, Star Wars has held an enduring presence in my life. The characters, narrative, themes, and world-building have all conspired to captivate not only myself, but also countless others. Beyond the realm of film and television, which have expanded upon the overarching Star Wars lore, a plethora of novels have emerged, depicting events transpiring before or after the Battle of Yavin. Remarkably, these literary works remain interconnected with the present-day shows and movies.
The ardent fans, in particular, have played an instrumental role in enriching the Star Wars Universe since its inception. Their contributions have birthed numerous novels and stories, while simultaneously kindling our collective curiosity for unexplored characters and elements. It is these tales that have spurred my desire to craft my own Star Wars narrative. Nevertheless, my intentions behind this endeavor may diverge from those of others. Foremost, my profound enjoyment of Star Wars, notwithstanding the mixed reception of certain movies or shows, fuels my creative passion. Furthermore, I aspire for my story to seamlessly align with the canon of Star Wars, not as part of the Legends realm, but rather within the official Star Wars canon that resonates with dedicated enthusiasts. Evidently, many fans yearn for their individual narratives to bear the imprimatur of authenticity. However, achieving this aspiration necessitates an arduous process of meticulous planning, which, regrettably, does not imply that a fully formed narrative has crystallized in my mind.
At present, my ruminations have yielded an array of ideas, each vying for prominence in shaping my story. After considerable contemplation, I have finally settled upon an idea that exudes a sense of fulfillment not only for myself, but also for the readership. Even the title, "Star Wars: Forge," stemmed from a cerebral notion that resonated deeply with me. Regrettably, divulging further details pertaining to the narrative would inadvertently diminish the fervor and intrigue surrounding its imminent unveiling.
Rest assured, I shall periodically update this post, shedding light on the creative process, the intricacies of the setting, the multifaceted characters, and endeavoring to address any queries that may arise among you.
