“..what about her?” Bucky asks
Before she gets the chance to answer the little girl in her hands wriggles free from her arms and runs to Bucky while shouting what seems like not real words
“Hey kiddo have you been a good girl for your mum?” Bucky asks. Everyone is just staring around in confusion.
“Yeah I only got trouble like this many.” She says holding up 3 fingers.
“Wow only that many! What about you ash?” Buck asks the little boy.
“I got in trouble this many I think.” He says. He says holding up 8
“Are you guys hungry?”
They both nod eagerly.
Wanda pipes up and says “Why don’t I take you two to get some food. How about that?”
The three of them go to the kitchen.
“Everly why are you here?” Bucky says the carefulness in his tone clear
“Raven called me earlier asked me to babysit. I was free so I said yes but when I got there she was panicked, scared looking. When we were hugging goodbye she handed me a note. The way she handed it to me though she looked like she wasn’t allowed to have done that. Here read it for yourself.”
Bucky takes the note and begins reading aloud.
“tHis is raY. Don’t woRry About me. GOnna be gone for a biT. Miss you buck. lovE you.” He Finished the note before saying “Thanks for dropping them off Everly I’ll get back to you. Thanks again.”
“No worry dear hope your well.” She says before leaving threw the elevator.
“They have her.” Buck says
“How do you know buck? I ask.
“ the handwriting look.” He puts it on the table and everyone stands and looks at it.
“What about it. She’s doesn’t know where capitals go what’s wrong with that?”
“Lissen Ray does not do that she’s so good at writhing she was even a teacher for a bit and plus look at the capitals together. Look what it spells. (Hydra got me)”
Everyone gasps. “We need t-to we need to get her.”
“Why would we get some random girl. How do you even know her?” Tony asks looking quite bored and annoyed
“SHES NOT A RANDOM GIRL.” Bucky shouts his breaths becoming heavier
“Buck who is she and who are the kids in the kitchen?” I ask
He takes a deep breath before he begins to speak. “Raven is-is my wife..”
Everyone gasps having not expected that. “And uhh Iridiana and Asher there umm mine.” Iridana is 3 and Asher is 5”
“How have you kept kids and a wife from us for so long? How long have you even been married.” Someone asks
“We have been married for coming up on 10 years now.” He smiles sadly.
“If you don’t mind me asking why the name Iridiana its a bit of an uncommon name?” Nat asks
“Really Nat that’s your only question right now?”
Bucky smiles sadly again thinking about the names of his children. “Well the name Asher means unexpected blessing in jewish. The reason we named him that is because about a year after we got married we decided that we wanted kids so we tried..for years but she just never got pregnant. We tried for just over 2 years to get pregnant but never did so we figured it wasn’t meant to be but then a few months later we found out she we pregnant. Hence the unexpected blessing And for Iridiana well..the name means rainbow because well..she’s a rainbow baby in between the two we lost a baby. It was very-“ he puts a hand over his mouth to stop a sob from escaping his throat. “That was one of the hardest days of my life. she lost the baby in a car accident. The driver was drunk and crashed into her. Luckily Asher wasn’t hurt though he was at home with a babysitter. The driver was fine too so was Raven mostly except for a broken leg and a hit to the stomach. That day changed mine and Ravens life thought we weren’t the same after that.”
“daddy look what miss Wanda gave us.” He shows his dad a cupcake that Wanda had helped them get.
“And you didn’t get me one?? I’m offended.” He fake looks very offended before saying “its ok I’ll just have to steal yours.”
“No it’s mine daddddy.” He says giggling before eating the last bite and poking his tongue out.
“Aww that’s it I’m coming to get you now.” He runs up to Ash and starts tickling him.
“Nooo.” Giggle “ple-please.” He tries to say threw giggles.
