Chapter Text
"Mammon,"
Barbatos was proper, pouring tea into Mammon's cup as the avatar ate a small batch of cookies true to his name.
Mammon just glanced back at the butler, the older demon had his attention.
"You know don't you?"
"Huh? What ya mean, barbs?"
The moreno tilted his head, smiling far too sweetly and artificial. Not even Beelzebub could stomach it.
Oh.
He knew.
For some reason.
Mammon doesn't feel his heart clench at their pathetically sad little faces as he sat in his chair next to Lucifer.
The avatar of greed gave his older brother a side glance and sighed inwardly to himself, Lucifer's eye bags were getting darker.
Oh, that'd be such a damn pain to get over with after this stunt Diavolo is making. Mammon can't stay mad at his lover forever though.
Speaking of which, where in the world was the future king anyway?

He wasn't unaware of Asmodeus digging his nails into his skin at the response, eyes blaring with tears.
"Dai."
The prince's silk blanket was wrapped around him as he continued to lay on the bed while said prince was already changing.
"Yes, Love." "..Ya know the blindfold is translucent, don't ya?"
It was quiet before Diavolo gave a low chuckle, "Of course. I wouldn't let your line of sight be blocked completely, you have your own feelings after all.."
The prince took his lover's hand, kissing it gently, "And I'd hate for you not to see the entertainment that is infront of you."
It was hard at first ignoring a brother of his suffering, but Diavolo pushed him through it, because it would be all better in the end.
And Mammon can't really deny the future king, much less his lover, now could he?
So, he played along.
"I guess." The avatar of greed shrugged.
But translucent doesn't mean transparent;
