Summary
After the battle, Charlie and Vaggie's relationship crumbles and Charlie is lost in grief. While no one seems to be able to pull her out of her sorrows, Alastor pays her a visit to try and turn the situation to his advantage but ends up granting a little request from the Princess.
Charlie’s room was cloaked in darkness, with the sole, dim source of light coming from beyond the window’s closed curtains. Just as last time, Charlie lay in a cocoon of blankets. Normally, he wouldn’t intrude, but he could ascribe the current situation as one of impending need.
Charlie had not been out of her room for an entire week, and had barely ate anything of what her friends had brought her. One by one, they all tried to get her to come out, and all failed spectacularly.
