Chapter Text
It took some convincing, but Frank finally let go of the whole funeral thing. Most likely because he went onto whatever new scheme he wanted to do, but that whole debacle is now over with.
They agreed to just get Mrs. Mac cremated and call it a day. That Mac could get on board with, because it still was respectful enough but they weren’t going out of their way to do something nice for her.
He still feels weird about the whole thing. On one hand he’s sad she’s gone and on the other hand he’s okay with it. He would never say he’s happy she’s gone because he still loved her deeply, no matter how she felt towards him. It just all sucks.
Dennis has been a really nice comfort to have though. He’s been letting Mac pick the things they do and doesn’t start any arguments which Mac appreciates. It’s been nice.
The gang have been…okay. They tried being ‘nice’ the first couple days but quickly gave up on that and went right back to how they were.
They are all currently onto their next thing, but Mac hasn’t paid much attention to them. Usually he hates missing out, but he’s fine with not being involved with whatever they’ve got going on right now.
___
Mac is currently waiting for Dennis to get back to the apartment. He went to pick up some food for them to have a movie night together. Usually it would be date night, that was formerly their monthly dinners, but Mac didn’t feel like going out and Dennis was more than fine with staying in.
So Mac has Thundergun ready to play and got them both beers set in the living room. He sits on the couch, scrolling through his phone when he hears the door unlock and Dennis walk in. He hops up to help with the food, though it’s only one bag, and pecks Dennis’ lips.
Dennis takes his shoes off and leaves them by the door and makes his way towards the couch. Mac follows behind with the food and puts it on the coffee table.
“Thundergun, this is the one with the full dong right?” Dennis asks as he begins to take the food out, handing some to Mac.
“Oh yeah dude. The only way to watch it. I still can’t believe they would cut this out just for movie theaters. It’s literally the best part of the film.”
“Well duh. It’s ridiculous how little they want to show nowadays.” Dennis shakes his head and leans back.
They watch the movie and eat their food in relative silence, besides speaking out on different parts they felt needed pointing out even though they’ve seen the movie hundreds of times.
Once they finish their food they sit back and lean into one another. The whole cuddling thing has become a new thing since they’ve gotten together. They always were close to one another and never had personal space, but never crossed the boundary of actually cuddling.
Mac loves it. He’s always been one for personal touch, but everyone around him hates it. They all especially began to hate any kind of touch, specifically from him, as the years have gone on. So now that he can touch Dennis without holding back, it feels great.
“You know when we get your mom ashes we could do something with them.” Dennis says as he’s playing with Mac’s hair. Mac stops his hands in place where they were drawing little shapes on Dennis’ side. He looks up a little puzzled.
“I know she didn’t like me much but I don’t think it would be very respectful to use it while we bang.”
Dennis instantly stops playing with Mac’s hair and looks down at him with an incredulous look.
“I didn’t mean that. Why would you think that? Oh my god- No I meant like putting the ashes into a locket or something.”
“Ohhhh. Yeah okay that’s way better. I like that.”
Dennis sighs but smiles fondly, moving to give Mac a kiss. It quickly turns into the two heavily making out.
Dennis pushes Mac down and gets on top of him. Which isn’t the smartest choice because his knees aren’t getting any younger but that is not a worry at the moment. Mac puts his hands on Dennis waist while Dennis puts his hands on Mac’s chest.
It soon becomes uncomfortable because the couch isn’t big enough for this. So Mac taps Dennis slightly to let him sit up a bit. Before Dennis can question what’s happening, Mac picks him up and continues kissing him as he leads them to the bedroom.
He gently lays Dennis down on the bed and gets on top of him. He rips his shirt off and throws it in the corner of the room. Dennis gets a brief moment to take in Mac’s abs and muscles before Mac leans down to kiss him hungrily.
Dennis begins to try to unbutton his shirt but is too distracted by Mac. He seems to get the hint because Mac quickly undoes his shirt and flings it in the direction of his.
The last time they did anything together was in the shower and that was really just a quicky. So they both are more than ready to jump one another.
Mac goes back to kissing Dennis roughly, touching everywhere on his body. Dennis unbuttons his jeans and tries to take them off smoothly. He succeeds getting them off and throws it hastily off the side of the bed. Mac gets the message and goes to do the same, but struggles with being on top of Dennis and still trying to kiss him.
Dennis takes this opportunity to flip them over so he’s on top and Mac is laying on the bed. Mac may be stronger than him, but he still has some advantages (at least if Mac is distracted enough).
Mac breathes in deeply, his face flushed from the act. Dennis smirks down at him and rips Mac’s pants and boxers off. He quickly swipes his own boxers off and leans back down.
“Grab the lube.” Mac says between kisses. Dennis leans over and opens the drawer to grab it, already going to squirt some on his fingers.
Mac stops him, looking confused. “What’re you doing? Give it to me.” he makes grabby hands but Dennis holds it out of his reach.
“Nuh uh baby boy. I’m topping tonight.”
“What?! I wanted to Dennis. C’mon, you know i’m better at it.” Mac says, trying to sound sexy but instead sounding like a child not getting their way. Dennis rolls his eyes and slides down, kissing every inch of Mac’s skin.
“Oh please Mac, you and I know fully well that’s not true. You can act like you love being the dominating one, but you secretly love when I take charge. So shut up, and let me rock your world.”
Mac is too distracted to comment on Dennis’ lame comment and nods his head shakily. Dennis gives him a quick sloppy kiss that ends far sooner than Mac would like, but once Dennis adds the first finger, he’s fine with the kiss being cut short.
Dennis is gentle at first, he moves his finger back and forth to get things going. Mac inhales deeply and Dennis takes that as a cue to add another.
This elicits a needy moan from Mac, pleasing Dennis. He’s barely doing anything and he’s already making Mac unravel right at his fingertips.
“You want another one?” Dennis nearly whispers. Mac quickly shakes his head back and forth.
“No, no. Just you, I want the real thing.”
“Whatever you say baby boy.” Dennis removes his fingers and gives Mac a messy open mouthed kiss.
“Wait…wait. I wanna ride you.” Mac says, sitting up with his elbows. Dennis nods eagerly, moving to switch positions.
Dennis lays down on the bed and Mac moves his shaky legs to get on top of him. He placed his hands on Mac’s waist, moving them up and down. Mac smiles down at him and slowly sits down onto Dennis’ dick.
He starts slowly, not taking in the full length of Dennis just yet. He knows he’s teasing Dennis, but he wants this to last.
“So good for me baby boy.” Dennis breathes out, brining his hands to Mac’s lower back and keeping a firm grip.
Mac only replies with a breathy moan, tilting his head back with his mouth open and eyes shut.
Dennis can’t help but take in the beauty of Mac like this. Covered in a slight sheen of sweat with every muscle working itself, he’s never looked better.
Mac very quickly picks up the pace. He puts his hands on Dennis’ chest, finally opening his eyes to look at Dennis.
“You’re so beautiful Den.” Dennis can’t even reply, feeling far too much in the moment.
It’s nearly too much, but almost not enough. Dennis can feel himself getting close and can tell Mac is getting there himself as well.
“C’mon baby, just a little faster now.” and does Mac go faster alright. He nearly sees white, his legs already starting to shake from pleasure.
“I’m about to cum Dennis.” Mac shakily breathes out.
“Keep going baby boy, i’m almost there.”
And not even a minute later, Dennis comes inside of Mac, shouting his name. Mac follows close behind and comes all over Dennis’ stomach, breathing fast.
He doesn’t move himself right away, not yet wanting to get off Dennis. His legs have other plans though, shaking from the position.
Mac gently moves off of Dennis and flops down beside him. They both have lazy smiles on their faces, eyes glistening. Mac leans over and grabs a few tissues from the nightstand to clean Dennis up.
As he finishes cleaning off Dennis, he notices him staring at him.
“What?” Mac laughs quietly as he throws the tissues off the side of the bed. He’ll clean it up later.
“Nothing, nothing. I-I just…that was really good.” and Dennis brings Mac in for a kiss, holding the back of his neck. Mac reciprocates, nearly sighing in content. They pull apart and Dennis still has this look on his face, like he wants to say something.
“Dude seriously. Is there something on my face or?” Mac asks, nearly getting frustrated but too blissed out to truly get upset.
“No, no. You look perfectly fine. I just wanted to say…that I-I love you.” Dennis almost whispers the last part but Mac hears him loud and clear. It feels as if his heart stopped beating, like everything around them has froze.
“Y’know this is the part usually where the other person says it back.”
“Sorry dude. You just threw me off for a second. But are you sure, like you meant to say that to me right?”
“Well yeah Mac, I meant to say it to you. You’re the only other person in this goddamn room now aren’t you.” Mac nods quickly. He can’t help himself and smashes his lips to Dennis’ again. Though with such ferocity, it’s actually a very slow and sweet kiss. Mac can’t stop himself from smiling halfway through it, feeling like a giddy kid who just got told his crush likes him back.
“So…do you love me or are you just going to leave me hanging here?”
“Are you kidding me dude. I’ve been saying I love you for years now. Of course I love you.”
“Okay you seriously have got to stop calling me dude when we have sex, but especially when I tell you I love you too.” Dennis tries to sound annoyed, but the smile on his face says differently.
“To be fair, we were already done banging so that rule didn’t count in this moment. And this was the first time you’ve ever said that, so it technically wasn’t a rule.” Mac replies back.
“Well i’m making it a new rule starting now.”
“Whatever you say bitch.” and Mac scoots closer to Dennis, laying his head down on his chest. Dennis readjusts to move his arm behind Mac’s head to play with his hair.
It may have been a crazy week with his mom dying and having to deal with all those emotions. But now he has real confirmation now that someone actually loves him.
It took 40 something years for someone to finally udder those three simple words to him, but he doesn’t care. It was worth waiting for. Because for once in his life he can say that he’s happy with how things have turned out and where and who he is finally.
