Summary
Buck didn’t wake up on a random Tuesday morning in sunny Los Angeles and think to himself, “Today I’d like to kidnap a child.” Unfortunately, sometimes these things just happen.
Or:
Set right after season one, in which Buck is already aware he's bisexual, he accidentally kidnaps a child and makes a new BFF while trying very hard not to be arrested for something that is totally, 100% not his fault, he swears. Hijinks ensue.

Summary
Eddie is a cynical, sharp-tongued beekeeper who’s perfectly happy living alone with his bees and his books on a quiet mountainside. People annoy him. Especially tourists. Especially loud, cheerful ones who park their camper van too close to his driveway.
So when Buck—an endlessly sunny, chatty travel vlogger—rolls into town with a bright yellow van and an even brighter smile, Eddie’ peaceful life is over. Or at least, severely disrupted.

Summary
“Do not make this more difficult for us. If Buck ends up pouting for the next hour because he thinks you’re not having fun, I’m murdering you,” Hen threatens.
“Bobby vetoed murder after Ravi and Buck got into that fight about sparrows,” Chimney interjects.
“No, I’m bringing it back.”
“Understood,” Chimney nods, and Eddie suppresses rolling his eyes at them, but only because he gets distracted when Buck turns to him, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, clipboard in hand with a pen in the other.
“Eddie! I accidentally started filling in your form. Here, you can have this one,” Buck passes it over and Eddie scans it, seeing how Buck wrote all his details perfectly. They share an address now, and Eddie grins down at the line, 4995 South Bedford Street, the place where their lives overlap and cross over and mesh as one. Where they share a bed and wake up tangled and laugh about it, and Eddie wants to cross that line, wants so much, wants to shake Buck and yell how he feels and he doesn’t know how much longer he’ll be able to keep it all in.
***
Or, the 118 attempt an escape room. Buck and Eddie attempt to be normal for sixty minutes.
