Chapter Text

“So as I was saying. The man y'all will hopefully kill and not die from is named Angelo.” Natalia said looking at the four in the rearview mirror.

“Any questions?” She stopped at a red light and turned around facing them with a smile on her face. “Yea, do you know anything else about him besides the basics?” Ash questioned.

“Hm…? Oh yes!! He has a wife but no one exactly knows her name just rumors about what they believe it is. Most do think it's Alessia.” She turned back around to continue driving.

Ash and Shorter looked at each other before nodding knowing to take note for research later. “May I ask you a question?” Ash snapped his head toward the voice.

Yue looked at him with a smug grin on his face. “What is it dearest?” She responded. “May I know where the shopping centers are?” Yue asked to keeping eye contact with Ash.

“You aren't going anywhere! So don't get your hopes up.” Ash leaned down whispering in his ear. While Natalia was telling Yut-Lung all about the shops, which ones were her favorite, and how to save a few bucks. Eiji looked at Ash like he was crazy and pushed him off. Knocking Shorter against the car window.

Eiji quickly apologized before taking a glimpse of the neighborhoods. The houses looked luxurious and better than his. “Wow…” Eiji stared out the window mesmerized.

He heard Natalia chuckling. “Sweetheart have you not seen such houses?” Eiji flushed at her comment realizing what he was doing. “I have but these just look so beautiful..!” Ash clicked his tongue at Eiji tired of his comments.

“They're houses why are you acting like you're gonna marry one?” Eiji ignored Ash and just continued looking out the window. Ash clicked his tongue leaning back against the seat.

They soon turned a corner where a huge mansion at the end of it.

“Guys were here!! Take a look!” The four of them leaned forward-looking through the windshield.

“It has a pool!! Eiji we can go swimming later!” Yue gasped looking glancing at Eiji.

They pulled up into the driveway. Getting out of the vehicle they all took a breath of fresh air. Before Natalia had said she'd give a tour of the place.

“So there are enough rooms for all of all obviously,” Natalia said opening the door which opened to a spacious living room. “On the right of this corner is the kitchen. And the bedrooms are upstairs but I'll let y'all explore that on your own!” Natalia walked down a hallway leading to an office with a desk in the middle of the room and bookcases everywhere along the walls.

“Yall didn't really think I was gonna give a tour did ya?” She smiled. She walked to the desk reaching under pressing a button. Triggering one of the bookcases to open.

“And here is the armory…!” Ash and Shorter looked at each other with grins on their face. They all walked in the walls covered with guns with a table that had knives scattered on top.

“There's a shooting range too.” Natalia opened another door from behind where she standing.  Not only was there a shooting range but also a bar.

“This is better than my actual house…” Eiji murmured making Yue laugh.

“So I'll leave y'all to it! Ash, may I speak with you before I leave?” He nodded and followed behind her.

-

A few hours later the group had settled in. They were sitting on the couch relaxing after a long day. The night approaching fairly quickly.

“Eiji let's go get ready it's the perfect time to go it's gonna look beautiful at night!” Yue stood up grabbing his arm. Eiji started to get up but another hand latched on to his arm.

“What did I tell you, Okumura? You're not going anywhere.” He and Ash looked at each other. “Ash what are you doing let me go!?” Eiji yanked his arm back from him. Looking at him in disbelief.

“Why can't I go anyway? It's not like I'm gonna do anything we're just going shopping.” Eiji walked out of the living room Yue trailing behind him to his room.

“He’s still not going anywhere,” Ash mumbled. “Why not like he said they're going to go look for clothes?” Ash looked at Shorter before letting out a sigh. “Wanna go grab a drink?” Shorter raised a brow and smirked.

-

Yue had brought a bunch of clothes into his room and dropped them onto the floor. Yue sat on the floor mixing clothing. “You can look good in everything Eiji…!” Yue fell back groaning. Before sitting back up.

Digging through the pile of clothing he grabbed baggy jeans, a croppish white top, and a blue-and-white bomber jacket. He threw the clothes at Eiji for him to go change.

When Eiji got back Yue was already dressed of course similar to what Eiji was wearing. “You need something to put on your head it looks empty.” Yue walked out only for him to walk in a few minutes later with sunglasses. “It's night why would I need these?” Eiji laughed grabbing the glasses. “It's to make a statement.” Yue smiled.

“And for shoes, we can just wear the Converse,” Yue said grabbing the glasses back and adjusting them on Eiji's head.

-

Ash and Shorter were in the bar drinking beer and playing pool. “Ash, can you stop looking at the cameras it's a little stalkerish?” Shorter chuckled, before striking the ball with his pool stick.

“Hey, Shorter do you like Eiji?” Shorter looked at Ash with a crooked smile wondering why he was asking such a question. “Yeah, I think he's pretty chill. Do you??” Shorter replied leaning against the pool table and crossing his arms waiting for Ash's response.

“He's alright.” Ash rubbed his temples tired of today. He took a glance up at the cameras that were connected to a TV next to them. He saw the duo leave Eijis's room and take off down the hallway.

“Alright let's head back.” Ash dropped the pool stick on the table and walked out of the armory to the outside of the house where the vehicle was waiting for them.

He watched as the front door opened revealing one of the two. A certain raven was standing there not moving and not showing plans of even attempting to.

“Come here Eiji,” Ash spoke out. Eiji took a step but was still hesitant until finally made up his mind. “What do you want?” Eiji questioned stopping right in front of him keeping a safe distance away from him.

“I’m still not letting you go.” Eiji looked at Ash rolling his eyes. “Really that's all you wanted to say you're wasting my time.” Eiji shoved past Ash to open the car door only for him to pull his hand away. “Why are you acting so weird today let me go you bastard!” Ash kept a firm grasp on his hand holding him in place no matter how hard Eiji was thrashing in his hold.

“Ash! Cut it out!?” Eiji yelled at him. Before Ash leaned down to whisper in his ear.

“Eiji he knows we are here already he has already seen us.”
