Hi there! It’s been some time hasn’t it? To explain my sudden disappearance: life! I know, I know, that’s a given but that’s the only reason why I stopped. I really did enjoy writing this fic, I enjoyed developing the world as I went along with it… But I unfortunately fell victim to burn-out that coincided with a lot of personal affairs, a bit of college admissions, and I ultimately went into a hiatus.
Now, is this the end of my fic? Honestly, I’m not sure, I’m willing to continue the fic. But I’m not saying I’m continuing this because looking back at it, it didn’t fit the vision I wanted.
I really wanted to explore the vast world of Argos through the sprinkling of lore and certain events, and I also wanted to show how Izuku would adapt to the quirked world after spending time there. Like I wanted to have a better origin for Vulcan; I realized how funny the idea that he got his codename from a brand from Dale’s shop. I also wanted to explore how Izuku would use his Applied Mutation, I was very dull with how I planned on using it, like I simply planned on him going melee while wasting the creative possibilities.
So I decided to rewrite it, I’m currently in the process of finishing chapter 1’s rewrite, this one is a lot more exploring Argos than the previous, like more names and more info about the Argonautica. Oh and I’m definitely going above and beyond with AMs while still staying grounded to a degree with Pseudo-science.
So to all my readers that have stayed with me, I say thank you and I’m sorry for the sudden hiatus. Hope you’ll enjoy the rewrite, because this time it’s more aimed to make me happy!
