Hola, this is AscensionFromAbyss speaking.
I'd like to inform you all that while I'm working on my Choujin X fic's 4th chapter, I'll be giving you this in order to satisfy your CMFAC related thirst, and I hope your all satisfied.
It takes me more time then most authors to update for several reasons, namely how my life tends to be.
With that being said, enjoy the short chapter.

Chapter Text

"Denji, could you pass me the salt, angel?" Quanxi's soft voice rang.

Her little boy(Even though he was 17) nodded his head and gave her a toothy grin. "On it!"

Christmas was something Quanxi normally didn't do, considering...

1. She wasn't a Christian.

2. She didn't have any family back then to celebrate it with in the first place.

3. She had a very busy schedule as a on-and-off again, devil hunter.

But she didn't let any of that stop her from completing her current objective...which was baking some Christmas cookies for her and her family, consisting of her, Cosmo, Long, Pingsti, Tsugihagi, and her little angel, Denji, along with his pet Devil(er dog) Pochita.

Plus, ever since that bitch, Makima died, they didn't have to worry as badly as in the past, and she gained a new family member, her daughter, Nayuta.

Quanxi's made many mistakes in the past but not this one.

This would be a great Christmas.

She didn't care how much work she had to put in, she WOULD manage.

Denji walked up to her with the salt in hand. "Here you are, Māmā!" his toothy grin warmed her heart enough to make her stop stressing.

Quanxi smiled and patted him on the head. "Thank you, sweetie." she took it from him in order to mix into the biscuit batter.

Rather then buying it from the restaraunt, Quanxi decided to instead make a Kentucky Fried Chicken meal from scratch, for Christmas. All other families in Japan got it for the holiday, but the real reason why she chose to make it by herself was due to her belief's regarding food. That homemade almost always was better then something hastily put together in a low-quality restaraunt(It was true that she did bought Denji and Nayuta some pizza and Mcdonald's from time to time, but still)

But against all odds she would make sure they were all happy for this holiday.

Quanxi kept stirring until s he then remembered something. Her daughter wasn't in the living room or the kitchen.

She stepped out of the kitchen to call one of her woman from the living room. "Pingsti, could you please get Yuta for me?"

Her girlfriend smiled at her. "Of course, Quanxi." and headed of to get Nayuta.

Pingsti traveled to her daughter's room and knocked on the door. "Yuta, sweetie, we need your help out there!"

She merely heard a frusturated grumble in response. "Okay, just give me a minute.." after about five whole minutes, Nayuta finally emerged from her "lair" with a tired expression on her face, which caused some unfortunate thoughts to enter Pingsti's head.

The Fiend put her hands on her hip. "Nayuta, did you stay up all night playing video games again?"

Her daughter began to panic. "Uh, no, I didn't-I was..uh..studying!" a nervous smile appeared on her face. "Yes, studying all night for the...exam in my math class."

Pingsti raised an eyebrow. She hadn't heard of any exam from Nayuta's school nor Quanxi, not to mention that Nayuta's manner of speaking along with her facial expressions gave away her lie.

"I don't recall you telling us you had any exam's up, also aren't you on break?"

While she could tell Nayuta wasn't being honest, it didn't mean she wasn't a good student. Pingsti saw all her report cards and heard from Quanxi about what some of her teachers said(sometimes she heard from a female teacher or two in bed with the rest of her lovers, though...not that she'd ever tell Nayuta though!)

Although her reply may have caused some issues, judging by what took place next.

"Shit!" Nayuta paled as soon as she realized what she just said.

"Language, young lady!" Pingsti gave her a glare, which made the little girl lower her head in shame, which in turn made Pingsti remorseful.

"Yuta, honey look at me." Pingsti pleaded with an apologetic tone in her voice as she beckoned Nayuta over to her.

Holding the back of Nayuta's head to comfort her while her daughter raised her head to look at her.

The Fiend took a deep breath. "Sweetie, look I didn't mean to scare you, I'm just trying to ask you if you'd like to help us out in the kitchen for Christmas, okay?"

The Control Devil perked up. "Wait! Does that include cookies? Count me in!" her smile was then crushed by her mothers next statement.

"We're making KFC. Y'know that American food."

Nayuta raised one of her dark eyebrow's at this. Sure she didn't have anything against Western dishes, hell, burgers and pizza were among her favorite foods, but she was never really keen on fried-chicken if she were to be entirely honest.

"But I do recall cookies being on the menu, specifically chocolate chip ones, who knows maybe we have some dough that needs baking." Pingsti smiled at her, she knew how to manipula-I mean motivate both her and Denji to do something good.

The elementary-schooler's eyes shot open. "C-Chocolate chip's!? You mean it, Māmā?"

Pingsti smirked. "I do, but only if you help us out with making the dough that is, what do you say? Denji and your other mom's are doing it, me included. It can be one big family project." only to see Nayuta had already left. "I'M ON IT!"

Quanxi realized something as soon as Pingsti left.

They lacked cookie dough for dessert.

She began to sweat, cookies were a must have for Christmas, not just for Santa, but for the good feeling they gave with their flavor, taste and texture. So how the hell was she going to explain that to Denji.

Quanxi took a gander at the clock, she still had time before things got busier at the grocery stores.

"Denji, dear, would you please come here?"

Denji stopped basking the chicken in it's batter to help his mom out with her problem. "Yes, Māmā?"

She gave him a nervous smile. "Sweetie, if you don't mind, I need to run to the store really quick to get a little something, could you please stay here with Nayuta, Pochita, Cosmo, and Tsugihagi while me, Long and Pingsti go to the store?"

He raised an eyebrow at her demeanor. "Uh, sure."

His mother clapped her hands together. "Good! Okay, Long, Pingsti, get dressed, I need you-"

Like a cheetah rushing after it's prey, Nayuta bolted off to the kitchen.

"Māmā! I heard you need my help with making cookies? Where are they!?"

Quanxi had an "oh shit!" look on her face, while Denji noticed it and began to pale just as she had.

Quanxi failed her one objective.

Don't disappoint her kids at all during the holiday's.

Notes:

I will take some suggestions for what happens next chapter in the grocery store or while they're baking.

Notes:

I won't spoil on whether Pochita will come back in someway later on, near the end of CMFAC or about Reze, but I wanted to write something cute, okay?
