Chapter Text
A few months actually go by, the others finding out that Law did go into labor early, though right on time really. For not only did the island where he was stuck in the dream coma help speed up the process of his pregnancy, but his outburst of power back on that island did too. Add on the stress, chaos and always pushing himself, he went into labor a bit early. But the children are doing just fine and happy as can be. And Law has been getting the rest he needed as everyone has been helping to take care of the children. Like literally, Law has to teleport his children back to him at times as the others can’t help themselves. Even Kid will raise hell against his own crew just so he can hold his little girl and will beat anyone’s ass if he even thinks they might be too rough with Rosinante.
But it’s mostly Luffy that they’re all worried about being alone with the children. Not because he would hurt them, just because Luffy is so carefree at times---
Ace comes onto the upper deck, arms stretching wide to the sky when he opens his eyes and takes in the beautiful view of the ocean---
Oh, and Luffy flinging Rosinante up into the air with his long rubbery arms.
“Luffy?!” Ace shouts in a panic, Luffy looking away from what he’s doing to tilt his head back and look at his brother.
“What?” Luffy calls out, completely unaware of the dangers of what he’s doing.
Ace is now really freaking out as Rosinante is falling back down when the baby suddenly vanishes in thin air before appearing in someone’s arms. Law’s pissed off expression shows as he holds the little boy in his arms.
“Straw hat-ya, can you stop stealing him? What is your obsession with him?” Law demands to know as he appears above in Luffy’s view.
Luffy grins, happy as can be as he grabs his own feet and remains on his back,
“We have a connection!” Luffy chuckles out.
Law raises an eyebrow at this but soon Rosinante distracts him as he lets out a cute sound. The little boy is clinging to Law as he is smiling away and it melts the omega’s heart.
“Where’s Ada?” Ace asks as he comes closer and Law gestures back to the Kid’s ship.
As if on cue, you can see Kid and all his crew cooing and aweing away as they see Ada just standing there. She’s eating up the attention as she has all of this crew wrapped around her finger. It’s truly a sight to see and it has Ace snorting at the scene before him.
“Between my crew and his, I rarely get any time with them,” Law says but there’s no heat behind his words.
He’s actually smiling and happy that everyone has been loving them.
Rubbery arms and limbs come to wrap around the back of Law, the omega having to be steadied by Ace as Luffy clings,
“Peek a boo Cora!” Luffy lets out and right away, Law stills, eyes going wide.
“Luffy his name is---” Ace starts before Law places a hand over his mouth to stop him.
“Why did you call him that?” Law asks, his full attention on Luffy.
The alpha tilts his head to the side and lays it on Law’s shoulder in curiosity before perking up in excitement,
“Cause it’s him, right? It feels like him anyway. The one I kept meeting in your dream that was attached to you.”
Law looks ready to cry as Luffy has no idea how much this meant to him.
“Even now, I can tell how much he loves you and is happy to see you again.”
It really worked. He reincarnated Corazon and it seems he might’ve not lost his memories either. Though, it was still too early to tell. Then again, Luffy could’ve just figured it out and is trying to make him happy by telling him this.
“Wait a second…” Ace lets out as it’s coming together.
For the others all thought that this was just Doflamingo’s kid, but Law wanted to name him Rosinante in honor of Corazon. But you’re telling him that this is actually Corazon?!
Law doesn’t deny it, instead he becomes super protective over Corazon and holds him close as he starts walking away. Even with Luffy still attached to him.
“Law! You better get back here and tell me what the hell happened back on that island!” Ace demands as he’s jogging after him.
“Our little girl could be coming any minute now and I’m not ready!” Sanji says as he’s nervous about being a parent.
Where he worries about messing up in so many ways thanks to his past childhood trying to surface. Not only that, but they are pirates and it’s not ordeal for small children to be raised at sea. So much could happen and Sanji would be devastated if something were to happen to his little girl. Especially if something happened to him or Zoro and they couldn’t watch her grow up.
God, Sanji loved their child so much and she wasn’t even born yet.
Zoro’s hands come to touch him in a loving way. Starting at his hips and moving to rub across his stomach in a soothing motion. His chest flush against the omega’s back as he comes to surround him.
“You’re going to be the best parent for our little girl. And with the crew's help, we got this,” Zoro encourages.
“Aren’t you the least bit worried though?” Sanji asks as he leans back against the alpha.
“If I’m being honest, I’m terrified,” Zoro says in such a tiny voice.
Sanji’s eyes go wide in shock, “Really? You?”
Zoro nods, his expression raw as Sanji looks over his shoulder to see the alpha,
“I don’t want her to go a day thinking she’s alone and can’t do something because of her gender.”
Right away, Sanji feels for the alpha as he moves to interlace their fingers over his bump.
“With you as her father, that thought won’t ever cross her mind,” Sanji tells him as he presses a kiss to the alpha’s cheek.
“And with you, she’ll never go a day hungry or unloved. Even if we make a mistake, we have each other to help learn and grow. Together, I know we can raise her so our pasts never repeat.”
Oh Sanji is gonna cry!
Zoro may not be a man of many words but he’s always paying attention to his surroundings. He’s always listening to his loved ones and finds ways to understand him. And when he speaks, he doesn’t just say words to say them, he means them and the fact that Zoro has always been there with him from the start of their journey, Sanji knows that they’re gonna make it. They’re gonna get through whatever may come their way because they’ll have one another and their nakama.
Sanji can’t help but kiss the alpha, breathing those words against his lips,
“I love you.”
The way Zoro’s eyes light up, that smile felt against his lips before he’s kissing back, saying the words right back with such passion.
The kiss becomes heated, hands beginning to roam as Sanji finds himself pressed up against the wall of the nursery. Both moaning as hearts are pumping, emotions are flying and---
“Damn, love cook, are you that wet already?” Zoro lets out in awe, completely turned on as he pulls back some to look at the omega.
But then Sanji is going wide eyed, Zoro stopping as the omega looks at him,
“I think…I think my water just broke…”
Excuse me?!
Sanji’s face soon contorts into pain as yep, that was definitely his water that broke.
“Fuck, we need Chopper and Law,” Zoro curses under his breath as he doesn’t hesitate to pick up Sanji.
“The other way!” Sanji grits out through the pain as Zoro has to backtrack to go into the right direction.
As he rushes to make it to the upper deck,
“Chopper! The baby! She’s coming!” Zoro shouts in a panic.
Law hears it from nearby as he hands Rosinante to Ace and teleports into action. Appearing before Zoro,
“To the infirmary, now,” Law directs as Chopper is seen running,
“I’m here! I’m here!”
“Is it really happening?!” Nami lets out in excitement.
The others are coming too as Law is in doctor mode and Sanji is whimpering,
“It hurts…”
“How long in between is the pain?” Law asks as they’re moving towards the infirmary.
Sanji doesn’t even get to say as he’s hit with the next wave of pain.
“The baby is trying to come now.”
“Now? Like right this second?” Zoro lets out in a panic as Sanji is yanking on his hair now,
“It hurts like a bitch!” Sanji shouts, Zoro wincing in pain.
The others worry as they can’t go into the infirmary with Sanji, watching as the door shuts quickly behind them. All of them can hear Sanji crying out in pain though and it sounds agonizing.
Law remains calm, directing Zoro to lay Sanji down on the bed as Chopper is helping by bringing forth what they need.
Law’s washing his hands, putting on gloves and a mask as Chopper is injecting something into Sanji’s arm,
“This is gonna relax you so we can operate,” Chopper says.
“Operate?” Zoro questions as he holds Sanji’s hand and sees Law coming closer once more.
“I’m gonna get the baby out, Zoro-ya, so just trust me and focus on your mate, ok?”
Zoro nods, trusting Law as he looks to find Sanji already looking at him. He can see how nervous and scared he is.
“I love you,” Zoro tells him and you can see the difference instantly on how much that calmed Sanji and gave him hope.
The two squeezing their hands together tightly, their eyes never looking away from one another during the procedure…
What felt like forever and soon they all hear a cry coming from the infirmary. A baby’s cry that has them all growing excited once more and rushing towards the infirmary door. The door opening not long after as Chopper comes out in tears, happy tears,
“Nao is here!!!” He exclaims and everyone cheers.
The Straw hats go inside, taking in Law handing over the little girl with green hair and Sanji’s eyes, before he’s stepping out of the way to let the others come close. Law takes off the mask, his smile on his face as he’s happy for the two. Watching as Sanji is balling in happiness from how precious she is, to Zoro who can’t stop grinning. The others are cooing and tearing up as well, Luffy congratulating the two before Law steps out of the infirmary.
Kid is there to greet him, pulling him into his arms as he kisses him sweetly,
“Mmm, have I told you how sexy you are when you’re in doctor mode, babe?”
Law chuckles, smirking into the next kiss, “No, please tell me more.”
“How about we don’t start making more babies out here in the open,” Ace says as he interrupts and hands Rosinante back to them.
Marco on the other hand pouts as he comes with a cranky Ada,
“All these babies make me want to have one of our own in the nest.”
Ace’s eyes go wide as he gets whiplash looking at Marco,
“Did you forget that we’re both alphas here?” He lets out, though he’s not opposed to having a child of their own.
Kid takes his crying little girl, who suddenly stops the moment she senses Rosinante close to her. All of them cooing as the two try to reach out for one another. Showing how strong of a sibling bond they have while Law begins to think,
“You know, I could figure out a way for you to---” But Ace puts a finger to Law’s lips,
“Don’t give this old man any ideas.”
Marco is still smiling though as he pulls Ace into his arms, nuzzling close,
“I think it would be more fitting if we adopted, don’t you?”
Ace’s expression softens as a warm smile appears on his face,
“It would.”
Suddenly, Luffy comes flying out of the infirmary, everyone looking in shock as the alpha lands on his butt. But he’s laughing away, that grin on his face as you can hear from inside the room,
“Did Nao just kick Luffy out of the room?” Usopp exclaims in shock.
Law and Kid look into the room, seeing Sanji and Zoro’s expressions of shock before they’re looking down at their child, who lets out a giggle.
Looks like they didn’t have to worry about their little girl in that department after all…
But wait until the two year time skip when it becomes more apparent what the children picked up from their parents. And when they come to an island where they run into a certain someone by the name of Jewelry Bonney…
