Rising (Sun is shining)
They became closer with the time that passed.
The futile years with Minx were slowly forgotten and only the fun and happy songs were remembered.
Their struggles after their debut, especially from Fly High until You and I, seemed so far away and so small that they didn’t even matter anymore.
I was always ready for the hardships that shook me.
Their first win on a music show was magical. With a - between Insomnias rather controversial - song, they deemed their chances to win any award as low but they were fortunate as Maison appealed to the public and no other big groups had released something at that time. In spite of the mixed reactions from their fandom, the win still felt incredible.
They had been talking behind the scenes, ignoring the cameras on them that were there to capture a win, when their name was announced.
No one had gotten away without shedding a single tear.
You see, we won everything.
That night, they got a lot closer and their bonds were knit even tighter. Handong and Gahyeon confessed about their relationship - with faked gasps from the others who of course already knew. It had really been rather obvious.
They were soon followed by Minji telling everyone that the maknae and her were also a couple. At first, the others were a bit confused, irritated that Gahyeon loved two women but when they explained, everyone could relate. That feeling of endless love and joy filled everyone once in a while.
The reveals opened everyone’s eyes and strengthened their relationship.
The flow of air that leads us
will always last.
Siyeon and Bora also admitted that they had been in a relationship.
No one was surprised and no one could pretend to be surprised. The lack of a reaction had Bora and Siyeon pouting which in turn made the others laugh.
But then everyone was quickly silenced when they went around, kissing each and every member.
Short pecks for Yubin and Gahyeon to refrain from overwhelming them. Minji cheered when Siyeon and Gahyeon finally shared a kiss because the two had been pining for much longer than any other of them had.
Sweet and chase kisses were given to Minji and Handong because they were taken and you shouldn't risk too much. When Gahyeon smiled happily at the kissing couples, Bora took it as a dare and bit Minji’s lip who let out an unexpected squeak. Handong and Siyeon had to interrupt their kiss because they broke into a fit of giggles.
Yoohyeon received two full-blown make-out scenes as the trio had always been very forward. The members watched quietly, fully emerging into the moves and sounds Yoohyeon made.
When watching her unnies kiss like that, Gahyeon felt like they were taking her breath away as wonderful as they all were. They were so pretty together, complementing each other's beauty and fitting their bodies together.
Let’s boil it red
at a temperature that won’t even let you breathe.
Yubin and Yoohyeon kissed the same evening, establishing their relationship a few days later. They had been unsure before but encouraged by Bora’s and Siyeon’s bold step, they decided to take the risk - with a more than welcome outcome.
Dreamcatcher bonded more and more. The sheer amount of relationships overwhelmed Gahyeon for a moment but she managed. Assuming that everyone was with everyone helped and she couldn’t really treat anyone wrong that way because the already thin line between friendship and that other bond was completely blurred.
Go higher and higher.
Bore through the sky and until the end of the universe.
For weeks, Yubin and Yoohyeon were inseparable. With Vision and their concerts, their popularity skyrocketed. Because they all were so close, performing together came easier than ever.
Until you get chills and turn into a bird.
Like a mad beast,
three, two, one, zero, take off.
Yoohyeon confessed to Minji shortly after Vision was released and they also became a couple. With this step, their original dynamic had fully shifted.
There’s no time machine, no turning back
Yubin didn't mind Yoohyeon being with Minji, nor did Gahyeon. The two quickly found each other in their misery because their girlfriends were too occupied kissing.
So they kissed too.

Annoyed by the maknaes who were all of a sudden so in love, Minji joined a night between Bora and Siyeon as “revenge”. It was a sweet night and it was sweet teasing that followed the next day because the walls were simply too thin and the unnies far too loud.
Another wave of new relationships unfolded.
We are shouting out loud:
“Keep marching now.”
Handong was - admittedly a bit later - added to Yubin's and Yoohyeon's relationship.
The cause was their first win with “Bonvoyage”. The song had been inspired by the huge step in their relationship and they loved to do the dance challenge. Showing each other slowly the signs for “I love you” felt good and it became their secret symbol whenever they wanted to thank each other.
When they left the encore stage, the happiness that filled Handong bursted out of her body and she willingly let it flow into the world by falling into Yubin and planting a kiss on her red lips.
(Maybe Gahyeon had gushed about Yubin’s pretty lips a bit too much but who knew?)
Because we make everything happen,
in reality, not in a dream.
Yoohyeon was stunned when Handong kissed Yubin.
The beauty is dangerous.
It was mesmerising. Lips on lips and at the same time so much more that was conveyed through the peck: Friendship, love, longing, curiosity, wondering.
It left her questioning whether this could actually be real and if this was real how lucky she could be.
Real life is fabulous (Our lives).
She pulled Handong away from the dazed Yubin
First plan is activated.
and kissed her herself.
You’re already invited.
The few members that were left would join soon.
That night Bora gasped into Yoohyeon's kiss. They had kissed before but this time was even better, even more exciting.
Enjoy the breath that will come quickly.
All breath had been taken away by Yoohyeon's bold intrusion. The girl had come into the bathrooms to shower with Bora, all innocent.
Shake off your wet hair.
When they stepped out of the shower, Yoohyeon pulled her close and kissed her.
With this overwhelming feelings right now,
jumping on the ground.
Bora felt dizzy but she remembered.
This was all happening right now and she was experiencing it.
Her toes curled into the tiles to ground her body that swayed with Yoohyeon’s kiss. Yoohyeon’s arm wrapped protectively around her waist.
Gahyeon felt dizzy too.
All this love overwhelmed her but in such a breath-taking way that didn’t want to escape.
Rising,
Minji's love was refreshing like the night sky. It seemed to sparkle like the galaxy when you looked up to the moon.
She would always be there for her girls, protecting them by enveloping them in her love.
Bora's love held no limits.
No matter what her lovers wanted or what she wanted, she was always sure to achieve those things and fulfil their wishes.
sun is shining.
Siyeon’s love boiled and burned like the fiery sun but also warmed one's heart on cold, lonely days.
They could count on her to cheer them up.
Handong's love on the other hand embodied those cold days with a crystal-like clarity, twinkling prettily.
If they needed a time-out or a distraction, she would be the first one they’d seek out.
With a will that is not easily broken
Yoohyeon's love could always be seen because it shone as brightly as the daylight.
No one could stop her from showing those emotions.
Yubin's love was quiet and calm. You wouldn’t notice it until you paid close attention to her gestures and mimics.
She was there whenever they wanted someone to listen and subtly comfort them.

And for her unnies, Gahyeon's love hurt their teeth because of how sweet it was, just like bright pink candy floss.
She had brought them together and she had been their glue.
At first.
Not anymore because everyone was tied.
Their love for each other bloomed.
Once Dreamcatcher started practising “OOTD”, everyone was in a relationship with everyone. It was sometimes difficult to keep track of each and every pair to make sure that everyone was getting their fair share but they managed well.
They didn’t have a system or rules because that wouldn’t fit into their chaos but they made sure to talk enough.
Their love was enough.
Everyone, reach up with your arms
to a higher place effortlessly, as far as you can.
Shout “Rising”.
Gahyeon was happy.
