Chapter Text
Momo Yaoyorozu was very much enjoying herself. After all, it's not every day she got to see Izumi without her maid uniform on, and considering how she kept tugging at it, uncharacteristically nervous. Her friend was, despite Izumi's insistence, very pretty without the maid uniform on, she still had all the poise Momo had known her for, but her cheeks were slightly red standing out prominently on her ashen face.
Indeed the uniform looked great on Izumi, though the top seemed a bit tight... not that she would complain, Momo was very much enjoying the eye candy on the way to the U.A. dorms. She had been trying to "seduce" Izumi, with her mother's help, of course. It seemed to be working, and it was not like Izumi didn't like her, she had seen all the lingering looks. Not that Izumi, oblivious as she was, could identify something like that as an obvious sign of attraction. Her friend was unfortunately very, very oblivious to anything even remotely including affection.
In truth, Momo had originally disliked the maid, at least, when she was 6 she did. Looking back on it almost made her blush, she was a rather petulant child, always demanding things from her maid. But over time, and eventually, when she was around 14, she suddenly realized just how attractive all the female heroines were, and then saw how attractive her maid had become, and her mother saw her posters and giggled while giving her a look. And then she had the worst talk of her life, it was still embarrassing years later, and the only thing that made it bearable was that Izumi had to sit through it too.
But for now, the school year was nearly beginning, and all U.A. students who passed the exams were to report to their dorms to get assigned rooms. Izumi was almost vibrating, Momo never really understood her obsession with cleaning, but she absolutely adored the task, she enjoyed just about anything related to a maid's work. It was astonishing Momo had never really seen anyone enjoy service to the extent Izumi did. And despite her and her mother's hard work, Izumi wouldn't budge on her duty to clean her mistress's room and make her bed.
When they first entered the dorm for class 1-A they were greeted by a rather confused voice "A maid? What?" it came from a brown-haired girl with rather pink cheeks, and Izumi, being her antisocial self, avoided the person and started unpacking. Momo sighed and explained, "Izumi has passed the entrance exam, she simply prefers to be my maid despite us now being on equal ground, so to speak." But weirdly, after this, the brown-haired girl seemed almost embarrassed and introduced herself as Ochaco before running off. Weird.
Izumi then teleported down, bowed, and then the entire building suddenly got shinier and cleaner. Momo sighed, she always did this when they were going to a new place, even when they camped in the wilderness that one time. But it was now time to relax and wait for the rest to arrive.
Almost everyone had a reaction to Izumi reading in the corner of the common room, some with shock, some with indifference, all were dissuaded from acting by Momo who explained when Izumi was reading she preferred to be left alone. That was until a boy with spiky ash blonde hair walked in disheveled, saw Izumi, rubbed his eyes, and promptly went upstairs muttering about damn ghosts all the way up. Izumi for her part, despite her placid appearance, was near a mental breakdown. Momo only knew this because she had known her for so long. So when Izumi suddenly disappeared it wasn't too surprising. She would have to check in on her later.

Bakugo Katsuki had just seen a ghost, Izumi Midoriya was dead, as was the entire apartment block the Midoriyas lived in, some random villain had destroyed it one day. But while the face might be similar, this Izumi had white hair and red eyes, and wasn't nearly as loud. Yes. That must be it.

Midoriya Izumi had just seen a ghost, her past should be long buried, and she didn't remember Katsuki getting a strong enough quirk to actually become a hero, sparkler she used to call him, maybe all that training he used to talk about paid off?
It didn't matter regardless, it seemed he didn't recognize her, all the better, truly. She would have to face him at some point, but for now, she could avoid that. But more importantly, it was time for her mistresse's bath and she needed to start the water, lay out clothes, re-clean the room and common room, and do a once over of the entire campus. As time slowed, she resolved to completely ignore her problems, like a very mentally healthy young woman!
Yes, everything would turn out fine.
