Scarlett woke up in her room and tried to sit up only to be stopped by two very strong arms, which alarmed her at first until she remembered what happened last night. “Mars?” She said, struggling to get their arms off her. Somehow, she turned around and pushed them off. “Huh?” They groaned as they woke up.
“Oh mornin’.” They yawned, sitting up. Scarlett doing the same. “Can you, um, g-get out so I can get c-changed?” She blushed, feeling too embarrassed to even say the sentence. “Oh alright, I’ll be in the kitchen if you need me,” They said, getting up, walking out, and closing the door.
“Ughhh this is so embarrassing!” She groaned, grabbing a t-shirt and sweatpants and changing out of her (surprisingly soft) hero gear and walking out of her room, and went into the living room.
“Good morning Scarlett!” Hachi smiled, flipping a pancake while Mars hugged her from behind. it almost looked like they were...you know what, never mind, all that mattered was Hachi’s pancakes. “Morning Hachi.” She blushed slightly as Hachi put two pancakes on a plate and gave it to her, something she had never really experienced before. “T-Thanks you.” They mumbled, resisting the urge to call her ‘ma’am’. (force of habit)
“So Scarlett, we’ve been talking and we wanted to know if you would be ok if we adopted you.” Hachi smiled nervously struggling to get the words out. “I-” She stuttered, tears forming in her eyes. “You don’t have to say yes! It’s completely up to yo-” Hachi was cut off by Scarlett hugging her. “Of course!”
