In light of recent events, I feel uncomfortable continuing this story. I was almost done with chapter four, but I won't be posting it. I recommend watching Shelby's most recent vod for context. As someone who recently escaped a situation very similar, in my heart of hearts I cannot support that man anymore. I will be retiring from any of his content, or listening to his music. I really thought he was a good person, but I can see that I was wrong. A lot of people were. Please go support Shelby, and any other victims of his. Shelby is very strong to have shared this story, and while I believe private matters should be kept private. She did the right thing sharing this, as someone like that should not be supported.

I implore anyone who reads this to truly consider relationships like this. It does not matter if it leaves physical marks, or if you are being hit. If you are being hurt in any way, have let this person know they are hurting you and if they continue to do it, leave the situation to the best of your ability. Consent is not a one time thing. You must be asked every single time. You can also withdraw consent. Your feelings are important, I want you all to ask yourselves what your boundaries are. And I want you to know those boundaries deserve to be respected. No matter how silly you think they are, they matter to you. That makes those boundaries important to respect.
You deserve better.
