Synopsis: Damao tells Ira about something that happened in a full moon after the vampire wonders how he catched a bad cold.
All starts, as usual, at apartment 1031.
We hear a loud sneezing sound resonating from the apartment,almost similar to a howl.
Said description is pretty spot on, considering it's Damao who's sneezing.
The werewolf tries to cover up his sneezes with his arm, but ends up spitting out snot and spit before he can manage to do so.
Ira is in the room with him, sitting on the couch,rather annoyed by the wolf man's constant sneezing.
Ira: Damao, you already shed your fur everywhere, you could spare us the germs, don't you think?
Damao: I'm not doing it on purp-(Etciù!)...ose. Do you have a tissue?
Ira: (he takes out a packet of tissues from behind then throws it at Damao) How did you even get sick like that? Did it finally catch up that you've been wearing short-sleeved shirts at like -20 degrees?
Damao: Yes! I mean, No! I-I mean...you also wear short-sleeved shirts when it's cold!
Ira: Not the point.
The vampire takes a quick glance at Damao: something about that conversation is making him nervous. And the vampire now feels even more curious to find why that is.
Ira:Today you're even weirder than usual...something tells me that it's not just a simple cold...
Ira leans in suspicious, promting Damao to reply.
Damao: It's just...something weird happened last night at the park...
Ira: You lost your clothes again?
Damao: (1 second of silence)...That too.
Chibi transition with Damao in his human form transforming into his wolf form when the sun behind him turns into a full moon, which simbolizes the start of the flashback.
Similar to one of the first episodes, Damao is again, dealing with the full moon, which decided to hide behind the clouds again, before he could fully transform.
Damao is sitting on the ground with his arms crossed and scowling.
Damao: (in his mind) Can anyone tell me why I'm the only one finding nights where the moon gets covered?!
Suddently, a loud, long and high-pitched noise gets Damao's attention.
Damao: Uh? What the...
The noise gets so high that it's almost as loud as an ultrasound, so much that it makes Damao first growl in annoyance then howl.
The source of the noise is not that far away, being shown from behind in the dark: a human-like figure in a wheelchair, immersed in singing in a really high register.
The figure stops singing as she hears the howl and turns around:
Serena: Oh! A doggie must have wondered around here!
Damao keeps howling then stops, hearing the sound of wheels on the ground and he turns around to the source of the noise.
Under the moonlight we see that on the wheelchair there's a mermaid with a blue fishtail and hair, in a two buns haircut, wearing a short light blue hoodie that shows her belly.
The mermaid is calling for the elusive dog...
Serena: Here boy! Where are you puppy?
...Only to find a half-transformed Damao sitting on all fours with his tongue sticking out.
Serena at first looks shocked...
Then she starts spraying water like it's pepper spray against Damao, hitting him in the nose (the spray stream is much more similar to the one of a water gun)
Serena: AHHHH! A PERVERT!!
Damao: Stop! I'm...just...a...werewolf!(While he tries to speak, some water gets in his mouth)
Serena stops...
Then she resumes on trying to drown Damao.
Serena: AHHHHH! A WEREWOLF!!
Damao: Wait...(Again, some water gets in his mouth)Let me explain!
Chibi transition of wolf Damao drying himself like dogs do while Serena next to him shields herself with her hands.
It's implied that Damao explained his situation to the mermaid and she's now apologizing:
Serena: I'm so sorry to have soaked you like that!It's just...well...seeing you like this in the dark I thought you were creeping on me...
Damao: Don't worry! I'm used to it...
Serena: (the mermaid tries to make up for the misunderstanding by introducing herself)Um...my name is Serena! Who are you?
Damao: Vlad...um...Damao. What are you doing in the park at this hour Serena?
Serena: P-practicing! (While Serena explains her situation, we see some small flashbacks with her in chibi form that show what she's describing) I really like singing, but my neighbors don't really appreciate the noise,s-so I tried to go to the park during the day!B-but I ended up hypnotizing everybody with my exercises so I decided to start coming at night!
Serena spoke pretty fast, so Damao got lost halfway through...
Damao: Understood...? (Confused wolf face)
Serena: Wait...did...did you just hear me sing?
Damao: Uh... yes?
Serena: And...and you don't feel attracted to me?
Damao: (Caught off-guard, he blushes) What??
Serena: D-don't you feel the need to kiss me? J-jump on top of me, adore me...or...do other stuff to me?
Damao: (More and more confused and embarassed) Excuse me? L-look, I don't know what idea you got, but I don't...
Serena: So it's a no? You're not hypnotized?
Damao: ...No.
Serena's face immediately lights up from joy and she suddently jumps on Damao, starting to kiss him with bliss, just adding to the confusion on the latter's head.
Serena: Oh what joy!(Smooch! Smooch!) My savior!(Smooch!Smooch!)
The mermaid realizes what she's doing and immediately lets him go, blushing as well for the embarassment.
Serena: Er...sorry...
Damao: It's...nothing...
Serena: I-it's just...the thing is m-my voice usually hyonotizes everybody a-and I was trying t-to m-make sure it wouldn't happen again by using a different register so...
Damao: U-understood...
The two of them simply look at one another a little embarassed for the awkwardness that was created so Serena tries to change the subject.
Serena: Hey...if you want...possibly...would you...like to sing with me? I-I heard how you were howling earlier...y-you really have a powerful voice...
Damao: (he turns to Serena, his eyes are glistening and his mouth opened.He's most likely never received such a compliment before)Are you serious?
Serena quickly nods without looking at him.
Damao smiles warmly.
Chibi transition of Damao in wolf form howling while Serena sings very theatrically (her hand stretched out to the sky) while the "Is" and "Us" onomatopeias that are coming from their mouths intertwine.
After the transition we go back to the present with Damao that has finished his story:
Damao: ...In the end I think because I stayed all night howling with a wet muzzle I catched a cold...and that's that.
We see that along with Ira, all the rest of the apartment (along with Lily) joined in to listen to the werewolf's story. They all look very invested.
Neil: What a cute story...
Lynn: Definetly the longest summary I've ever heard about the causes of a common cold.
Lily: Awww, Damao has fallen in love!
Ira: When's the confession?
Lewis:I'll be rooting for you!
Damao: WHERE DID YOU ALL COME FROM???
