“Of course. It’s to play against you guys.” Reo said.
Nagi looked towards the familiar voice, belonging to the person sitting at the edge of the bath, and felt excitement rush through his body. The person he had wanted to see the most was right here.
“Ah Reo!” Nagi said and walked towards Reo through the water. “I’ve learned a lot during the time we were separated.”
Nagi reached out his hand, like Isagi had done with his friends. Reo looked at the hand for a second and then grabbed it.
“Good job Nagi.” Reo said with a smile and then let go showing a slightly sad expression. “Although… you should have told me that you wanted to team up with Isagi…”
Reo looked at the other guys who had started talking about going to play against each other. Nagi looked down at the water and then sat down at the edge beside Reo.
“Yeah, I’m sorry about that. I thought you wouldn’t accept it…” Nagi said with a small pout.
Reo laughed, a sound Nagi was so familiar with.
“Of course I would accept it, who do you think I am? But you leaving like that was a bit surprising. You haven’t done anything drastic like that before so…”
“Is it a bad thing that I’ve been taking more initiative?” Nagi asked with a slightly worried tone.
“Not at all.” Reo said. “In fact I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve learned.”
Reo then looked him in the eyes with a confident smile.
“Because this is the first time playing against each other, Nagi. Let’s give it our all.”
“Yeah, and then I can steal you to our team.” Nagi nodded and put out a fist.
“You’re kidding right? Cus I’m gonna be the one to steal you.” Reo said and returned the gesture.

Nagi woke up due to the uncomfortable position he had been sleeping in and felt frustrated. His fist still closed. Why did I have to wake up… He wanted to go back to that dream, because that wasn’t what had happened in reality. Reo’s reaction hadn’t been like that at all… Nagi turned around and begun falling asleep again.
He didn’t go back to the imaginary world however, and by morning, the lovely dream had already been forgotten…
