3. POV BAKUGOU
Katsuki wandered into the common room, most of the class had gone home for the weekend, but his parents were out of town, so he didn't really see the point of going home, but as he stood alone, he really started to wish he had. Because in about an hour Kirishima was going to get back from his date, and tell Katsuki all about it, and the blonde felt sick. Why would he kiss him, and why didn't Kirishima push him away, he was such an idiot.
He walked into the kitchen, but somebody was already there. Kirishima was wearing his black sleep pants and old, red T-shirt. Katsuki thought he was so unfairly beautiful.
"What are you doing here?" Katsuki asked, voice quieter than he had wanted it to be, but what did it matter, he’d shown all his cards when he connected his lips to the other boy’s.
"I didn't go, I called her and cancelled" Kirishima said, stepping closer to the blonde
"Why?" Katsuki asked, although he thought he already knew the answer, refusing to step back and give up ground
"Because I don't think that was just a kiss" the redhead whispered, oh so softly.
“What would you know?” Katsuki snarled, returning to that ever-present anger.
Kirishima looked at him, eyes soft, refusing to let Katsuki push this away with his shouts.
Katsuki hated him, hated him so much that he couldn't help but love him. Katsuki looked at his own feet.
Kirishima placed a finger under Katsuki’s chin, and forced him to look up, when had the difference in their heights gotten so drastic?
Kirishima leaned down, catching Katsuki’s lips once again, every part of the blonde was screaming run, get away from this before you can’t, but he wouldn’t, not when everything he ever wanted was so close, he brought his arms up, wrapping them around Eijirou’s neck, hungrily pulling the other boy closer.
Katsuki wasn’t sure how long they were there, unable to pull away from one another, so long, not long enough. Eijirou pulled away this time, but he didn’t go far, and as red eyes met each other, orange light casting through the windows, Katsuki could feel his breath against his face.
“Fuck” Eijirou whispered
“Fuck” Katsuki agreed, because he had no words of his own to offer.
“I don’t…” Eijirou started
Katsuki braced himself for rejection, the suggestion that it would be better to pretend nothing had ever happened.
“I think I'm in love with you” is what he was given instead.
Katsuki couldn't say anything, he hadn’t ever thought about the possibility, not really, so he brought them together again, wanting nothing more than to stay in this moment forever.
“Katsuki…” Eijirou whispered, a mix of want and warning in his voice. The want to carry on doing what they had started, but a warning that Katsuki had to respond, that this couldn’t go unsaid- not this time.
“Yeah” Katsuki agreed, “I think I’m in love with you too”.
