Chapter Text

Orange rays of sunlight seeped into Gepard’s office through the window, drenching Sampo in a warm hue that made his image all the more captivating.

“Try not to kiss me with your fist this time, alright?”

Gepard could not block a faint blush as he averted his eyes, “I can’t make any promises.”

Sampo sat down on the couch and patted the seat beside him. “C’mere, captain~ What did you want to talk about? You first.”

Gepard wasted no breath and took the seat mechanically. The golden tickets have been burning in his hands for a while now. He placed them on the table beside the snacks and pushed them towards Sampo. “Ms. Terios gave these front-row seats to me as thanks for rescuing her, but you’re the one who did all the work. So, you have the right to use them as you please!”

Sampo’s eyes immediately twinkled like stellar jades, “Sweet! I could resell these for at least hundreds of shields a piece! Hehe!”

How childish.

Gepard relaxed at the sight of Sampo’s excitement. How could a grown man wear such adorable foolish expressions over money?

“But, I could also enjoy the performance myself. Ah, with the company of another of course!” Sampo hummed in contemplation. “Who should I bring with me, hmm? Natasha, perhaps?”

Gepard’s face immediately soured. He turned his head the other way to hide his displeasure. “I don’t know, just think about it later.”

“Well~” Sampo’s voice dripped with taunts. “I do have someone I fancy. I’ll ask them, then!”

Gepard flinched at the suggestions. He felt a small ache of pain sting his chest at the mere concept of Sampo having fun and going out with someone else. In a small, dejected voice, Gepard said, “…do whatever you want.”

“Gep?”

A mischievous giggle from Sampo was heard before his bare hands crept their way over Gepard’s cheeks. Sampo turned his head so that they would face each other, his palms keeping Gepard frozen in place.

“Gepard Landau.” With their faces now only inches apart, Sampo whispered. “Won’t you come with me to the Grand Theater?”

Gepard paused. So, the one Koski likes is…

“…me?”

“Who else but you?” Sampo’s soft gaze returned.

Gepard’s eyes widened. He moved backward, removing himself from the vicinity of danger. The heat he felt on his face was enough sign to tell him that he had been a blushing mess, so Gepard held a hand over his face, only leaving his eyes uncovered. A poor attempt to hide his embarrassment. “I, uhm…”

He expected another tease from Sampo but Gepard was left to deal with those carefully blank emeralds once more. Sampo kept his serious yet soft expression, looking at Gepard with such unfiltered desire.

Slowly, Sampo shifted his seat so he could reduce the distance between them. Gepard did the opposite, but even the furniture didn’t let him.

Thump.

The armrest of the couch made Gepard halt. He sucked in a harsh breath when Sampo took the opportunity and grabbed his chin. Immediately after that, Sampo slid a hand from Gepard’s stomach towards his waist in a painfully slow manner.

Sampo pulled him closer by both the hand placements.

The other man made sure that Gepard saw the way he flickered a suggestive glance down on Gepard’s mouth.

“I won’t force you if you don’t want this.” Sampo’s lips grazed over his as he whispered. “So, take your tim-”

Gepard wasted none of the time Sampo was about to give him. As if to register the sequence of events, the both of them paused the moment their lips met when suddenly, Gepard felt Sampo smile against his.

Without breaking the kiss, Sampo pushed Gepard to lie down on the couch in a gentle and swift move. The hand that was on his waist pulled his lower body upwards to encounter Sampo’s. At the same time, the fingers that were on his chin traveled to the back of his neck.

“Ngh-”

Gepard whimpered when Sampo’s tongue pried his mouth open. Wet, indecent sounds filled Gepard’s office together with the rustling of clothes, and straps being unclasped here and there.

“Mmph…S-sampo, hold on…”

The other man heeded Gepard’s plea. Sampo leaned back a little, a trail of saliva connected their lips.

“My name has never sounded so enticing before.” A breathy response from the other almost pulled a whine out of Gepard. “What is it?”

“I’ll come…” Gepard quickly clarified what he meant when Sampo was about to kiss him again. “With you to the Grand Theater!”

“Hehe~ What’s with that?” Sampo laughed softly before brushing his lips over Gepard’s forehead. “Of course, you’ll come with me. Whether at the Grand Theater or in the bedroom, I’ll make sure we get to experience both~”

“Koski!” Gepard pinched Sampo’s arms.

“Ouch, that’s not my name…”

Gepard bit his lips. He could still turn back from making either the best or worst decision in his life. Without thinking, his eyebrows furrowed and Sampo frowned when he saw that.

Gepard did not like that look, after all.

Talk with the man properly. Serval’s advice rang in his ears. How else would things get to see the light of success unless you try?

That was all the push Gepard needed to decide.

“Sampo.” Gepard’s voice did not waver. He tried again, and again. “Sampo.”

“I’m here.” Sampo pulled their lips together. “I’m yours.”

– The End –

Mini play for chapter 5:

Gepard: I want to know you better. So, what are your hobbies?

Sampo: Cooking, Painting, Embezzlement, Theft, Arson-

Gepard: Wait, what?

Sampo: Hehe~ I was just kidding, Geppie~

Gepard: Oh…

Sampo: I actually don’t do painting.

Gepard: …

Notes:

After that, they fucked at Gepard’s place. For the following days, they went on dates, checking out places both within the Underworld and Overworld. They also bonded over investigating cases and fighting Fragmentum monsters.
Eventually, Gepard made close acquaintances with Natasha and the group of kids who called themselves ‘The Moles’. The golden marbles they played with did not slip Gepard’s eyes.
Soon enough, Sampo met Serval on a few occasions. Many moons waned and he still found her frightening. Seele and Bronya also acknowledged his assistance with the Silvermane Guards, giving him the unofficial title of being Gepard’s partner in life and crime.
Life was good for both Sampo and Gepard.

Until it wasn’t. jk. I want the bhoiis to have their happy life together.
