Before Sampo can finish his little greeting, Gepard materializes Earthwork and lunges forward at Sampo. There's no recognition in those beautiful blue eyes. Gepard's handsome face is completely devoid of any emotions. There's no anger at Sampo escaping again, no furrowed brows at seeing Sampo. There's no shouting, either. No "Sampo Koski, you are under arrest!". It's like someone replaced Gepard with a look-alike.
Gepard's expedition in Snow Plains ends with Gepard getting corrupted by the Fragmentum.

I absolutely adore the way two universes are mixed in this wonderful fic. I loved following Childe and Zhongli through the various challenges and twists the world (and the author) threw at them. The ending more than makes up for all the pain they had to endure. <3

“Yes?” Archons, it sounds terrible when Zhongli puts it that way. “Wait, a Guili Era artifact?”
Zhongli looks positively haunted, the shape of his knuckles pressing through the back of his gloves. “Indeed.”
“Oh. Oops.”
Oops doesn’t half cover it. Childe knows the history—Zhongli was the one who taught him most of it—and the significance of the name ‘Guili’.
He’s done a Very Big Oops.
What do you do when you're about to be reunited with the ex-archon you may or may not have a crush on? If you're Childe, you smash a priceless ancient artifact to recreate the Inazuman art of kintsugi, of course. After all, who doesn't love a personalised gift?
Poor Zhongli. He never asked for this.
