Chapter Text

"Ron, will you talk to me already?" Ron stopped walking away and turned to look at Leo.
"Leo, I'm just a little sad, and I don't wanna hang out right now." He turned to walk away when Leo grabbed his arm.
"But what about the secret?" Ron perked up and looked around.
"But Hermione isn't here to help us?" Leo smiled and started to pull Ron out of the room when he slammed into a wall.
"Ow, what happened to the door!" Some kids looked up or walked over.
"Where is Madam Pince?"
"What did you do to the door, Potter?"
"Is this some stupid prank by the Weasley twins?"
"No way do you not remember the howler they got after pranking Ron in here a few days ago."
"Yeah, unlike most pranksters, the Weasley twins are smart." Ron could tell no one knew what was happening, but at least he wasn't a suspect anymore.
"What did you do, Potter?" Leo was being backed into a corner by the annoyed and scared kids. For a moment, Ron felt guilty for not rushing over to help but decided getting out was a safer option.
"Did anyone see Madam Pince leave?" At that moment, the room went dark. Kids instantly started screaming.
"Will you all calm down!" Everyone focuses on the girl standing on a table, holding a lighter. "Good now, when I turn off the lighter, I want you all to look down for lights, okay?" Some started to cry, but most agreed, and it went dark again.
"Hey, over here. I see bright green dog prints?" Ron almost didn't believe what he was seeing. He grabbed for someone, and a girl screamed before grabbing his hand back.
"I see them too."
"Yeah, they're heading to the right." Kids started grabbing each other and following the glowing path slowly.
Everyone seemed to be working together no matter the house as the upper years carefully led the younger students through narrow shelves and around misplaced chairs. The darkness seemed to swallow the pawprints as the lights flickered on. The lights revealed a grand theater-like room, showcasing a blend of every house no matter where you looked. It seemed to fit everyone in perfectly as a few even took a seat.

Ron had finally calmed down, seeing his brothers staring around the area curiously. Realizing neither one was nearby, he looked up to see who was next to him. He wasn't expecting to see Jess Williams, looking around equally as amused and curious. He could see how puffy her eyes looked, and how tired she was. Yet, when she finally noticed him staring she didn't seem bothered. In fact, she looked concerned for him and even started comforting him.
Her friends rushed over to check on her and didn't even bother shooting him a glare. Which would have been preferred, over the gentle pets and warm hugs. He hadn't even noticed when the tears started, but they weren't stopping.

"Hey, look over there." they looked toward where Pansy was pointing but couldn't see anything unusual.
"More details would be nice, Pansy." She mocked glared at Theo but told them to look for Weasley. Hades found him first.
"Oh!"
"Yeah, he looks like he is on the verge of tears."
"Yeah, did anyone know he was afraid of the dark?" Most shook their heads. "And he's crying now."
"Look at who's comforting him." They look at Draco and then back to Weasley to see Jess gently patting his head.
"Ooooh!"
"Now you guys get it."
"She really is a saint." They couldn't help but agree with Baisley. It has spread across the castle that Ron Weasley, Leo Potter, and Hermione Granger were the main suspects in her brother's death. Yet there she was, still comforting a scared child.
"All right people snap out of it. We need to get these movies started yesterday before people start making a fuss.
"I'll get the projector started."
"Who wants snacks?!"
"If you could look towards the curtains. The movie will start any second now." Hades took his time walking around to make sure everyone even made it into the room. Even helping a few lost souls into the room just as the movie started.
"Hades!" He spotted Darco sitting in one of the cozier chairs with a bucket of popcorn with his name on it.

"Well, that was a success!" Hades couldn't help but agree. Everyone enjoyed the movies, and being able to skip the last few classes of the day was a bonus. It was almost too perfect of a day. So it was really a shame to see both Potter adults and their gremlin making a beeline for Hades and his group. Draco stepped in front of them as Theo stepped back to grab a prefect.
"Harry!" Hades took a step back as Mrs. Potter reached for him. Mr. Potter just glared and placed a hand on Leo's shoulder.
"Hey, Harry." Leo stepped closer as Mrs. Potter again tried to reach for him. "We believed it would be best for you to eat dinner with us for a while. At least until the trial-"
"Mr. and Mrs. Potter." Everyone looks over to see Lord Black and Professor Lupin looking absolutely feral. "I believed it was stated that you were not to be around Snape's godchildren no matter the circumstances."
"Well, we shall correct that immediately, Black. As soon as Harry."
"You seemed to have forgotten that Professor Snapes considers Hades his godson as well." Professor Lupin happily stepped up to put more distance between the Potters and the young group of snakes. "So it would be in your best interest to get back." All three stepped back knowing full well that Lupin was threatening them.
"Harry is our son Remus. We should be allowed to have dinner if we so wish." Lily nudged Leo behind her, glaring Remus down until a familiar pair of handcuffs appeared in front of her.
"And unless you want a reenactment of what happened at your own mother's house. It would be best for you all to listen to him and leave." Lily sighed, giving Hades a longing look and stepping back. James grasped her hand and began to lead them away.
"Oh, and Leo." He turned to look at Remus. "You still have to serve my detention. So head to my classroom and take a seat."
"Remus!'
"Remus!"
"What?! He skipped class, didn't do his homework, and decided to harass those he thought were evil during lunch. He's earned these detentions." Lily and James couldn't defend Leo at all as the boy kept his head down in shame. They all waited into the Potter family was out of sight before greeting one another.
"Good evening Lord Black. It's a pleasure to be in your presence, Professor Lupin." Remus raised a brow at the over-exaggerated greeting when he remembered his very empty classroom and let it go. If they wanted to kiss up to him to avoid detention, who was he to stop them?
"Hello, children."
"Hey, Brats and godchildren. I need to borrow Draco and Hades for a moment." Sirus was almost shocked at how looked him up and down before taking three steps back and no more. "Yeah, I was expecting that. Don't worry, you kids didn't actually have to leave." Draco and Hades stepped closer together but didn't look worried in the slightest. "I want you two to meet a dear friend of mine." Professor Lupin stepped up and waved. "Hades, he's also... your...um, we'll technically, we both are." Remus patted the man's back with a small smile.
"I got it, Siri. Hello Hades, you might not remember me, but I'm your godfather." He must have reacted because both men chuckled and started consoling him. "It's fine if you don't remember. You were two."
"Honestly, if you do remember that age, I'm sorry for letting your grandmother get you in that hideous dress."
"I need pictures!"
"Draco!" Hades face felt on fire as the other jumped in giggling or asking for copies too.
"Don't worry all baby pictures are in the library and that man will do anything to stay out of the library."Sirus pouted at Remus as the man laughed at him.
"This might come off as rude, but why are you talking to me now." Remus calmed down enough to answer looking a bit sad.
"When you were just about to turn two. Your parents and I got into a disagreement. During said disagreement, I was to have no access to you until your father deemed it so as order by magic." Draco gasped, as did the others as Hades contemplated granting so one the title of godfather then casting them away because of a petty argument.
"What was the argument about?" Can he actually call it petty if he doesn't know what it was about?
"I'm not sure if-"
"They thought he was the traitor that told the Dark lord where you were. Even after I backed him up and arrested the real rat. They deemed it unbelievable due to Remus's other secret." Hades looked at the man and shook his head.
"So it was petty and stupid. Great to know, but that doesn't really answer my question. Why now? I've been in school and your class for months." Both Men smirked and chuckled a little.
"Well, the thing is a magical order or oath was cast in order to keep me from talking to you without your father's consent. I knew James would never allow that, but I was able to answer questions for you with ease during class, and it made me curious. So I took another look at the oath and found a specific line James wrote that messed with his little plan."
"He put decried by Lord Potter, didn't he?"
"Yes, but that wasn't it since at the time he was heir Potter and acting as Lord. No, what he put down was until your father deemed it. Which usually would be him if it wasn't for the fact you all Lucious Malfoy daddy." Hades once again made a look that had both men a giggling mess. Even Draco was sporting a similar look.
"You kids are a riot." Sirus jumped as a chill overtook him. "Great, I got work to do."
"Poor-ugh!" Remus trembled just as hard as Sirus did before glaring at the man. "You jinxed me, didn't you?"
"I have no idea what you mean." Remus pouted as Sirus patted his back. "Sorry kids, we have to go, but we would love to talk more if it's okay with you."
"Absolutely."
"Mother said you know how to prank Father in a way that will have him questioning if it really happened?" Hades popped Draco's arm, but from the spark in both his and Sirus's eyes, he knew a lot of rules would need to be written up for daddy's sake. The kids watched the two leave as a fourth year rushed up to retrieve them. A Slytherin house meeting was set to happen before dinner, and they needed to be there.

Notes:

Seriously though, I'll try and get back into writing and posting stories. At least finish off the ones I already have up. The next fic I aim to tackle is Silence her. Wish me luck.

Notes:

I hope it wasn't a mess and that you all enjoyed Bye bye.
