Chapter Text
Evie unlocked the door to her dorm room, only to find it empty.
”shit.” She said quietly to herself.
She sat down on Mal’s bed, staring at the nightstand where a picture of her and Mal was sitting atop of it.
A tear slipped out of Evie’s eye. Then another, then another and another until she was sobbing her heart out. She didn’t even care that her mascara was running down her face, or that her tears were leaving streaks in her makeup. She just wanted Mal to love her, was that too much to ask?
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
”C.. come in.” She stuttered.
Evie cried even more when she saw the purple hair of her best friend.
“Hey, E.. can we talk?” Mal asked carefully.
Evie nodded slowly, before scooting over on Mal’s bed to give her somewhere to sit.
Mal sat across from Evie, staring deep into her beautiful brown eyes.
”What?” Evie questioned, noticing that Mal was staring and not wanting to talk to her any longer than she had to. She was still upset about earlier.
Mal couldn’t take it anymore. She grabbed Evie’s face and kissed her softly. God. Evie tasted like peaches, and she was an incredibly good kisser.
Mal pulled away, ashamed of what she had just done.
“I-I’m so sorry, Evie! Oh my god..” Mal covered her mouth with her hand and turned her face away.
Evie grabbed Mal’s face with her thumb and pointer finger to turn it towards her. Mal was still looking at anything but Evie. Evie was getting annoyed.
”Mal, Look at me sweetie.” She demanded.
Mal hoped Evie couldn’t hear her heartbeat.
She looked Evie in the eyes, those big brown beautiful eyes that she could simply stare into forever. Everything about Evie was mesmerizing.
”I love you Evie.” Mal blurted out without thinking.
Evie’s eyes widened. Out of all things she was expecting Mal to say, that certainly was not one of them.
Evie kissed Mal, it was sweet and gentle at first, but it eventually got heated.
After a few minutes of making out, the two girls pulled away from eachother.
”I love you more, Mal.”
