Chapter ???: The Tubby Massacre
Dempsey fell to the ground, panicking as he felt a hot, burning liquid rising in his throat. It soon forced its way out of his mouth, coming out in a pink-ish red color, presumably custard mixed with blood…wait, blood!?
Dempsey's eyes widened, and he tried to call for help, but the regurgitation of custard simply wouldn't stop, coming out in a stream, until, eventually, Dempsey lost consciousness.

Takeo sat bolt-upright as a crash rang throughout the dome. He glanced over to the source, making out the figure of Dempsey looming over a now broken custard machine.
Takeo called out to him, but instead of answering, he began stumbling towards the exit, making his way outside without much as a glance back.
Panicked now, he woke up both Richtofen and Nikolai and alerted them of the situation. Nikolai, in a half-asleep state, offered to stay behind in case Dempsey returned. Richtofen, on the other hand, agreed to accompany Takeo in looking for Dempsey, to Takeo's surprise. Taking two builders' torches from the tool table that Takeo had used earlier that day to fix the custard machine, the two of them agreed to split up. Richtofen would look near the lake while Takeo would scout the paths.
Nikolai was awoken from his slumber by the sound of boots making contact with the floor. He stirred in his bed, lazily sitting upright and glancing around in a confused manner, his gaze eventually landing on a silhouette.
It had a rather angry, defensive stance, its shoulders rising and falling as it breathed heavily.
Nikolai nervously called out to it,
"Dempsey, is that you buddy?"
It didn't answer with words. Instead, the faint hum of a chainsaw suddenly began to sound, quickly becoming deafeningly loud as the monster approached. Nikolai's eyes widened as he realized that it was indeed Dempsey, but he now had black, hollow eye sockets where eyes should have been, and his jaw hung open, blood curdling screams starting to emit from his mouth. Nikolai scrambled out of his bed, but was quickly backed into a corner by the monster, who continued to rev his chainsaw as he drew it closer to Nikolai. Nikolai felt tears start to sting his eyes as he pushed himself as far against the wall as he could, "Hey, think about what you're about to do man, I-" He was quickly cut off as Dempsey let out an enraged scream and swug the chainsaw, hitting Nikolai's neck with disturbing accuracy. Blood immediately began to spew from the Russians neck and in copious amounts, splattering all over both the Russian and the American and their surroundings, but Dempsey didn't seem bothered in the slightest. Nikolai tried to scream, but it only came out in helpless gurgles as he suffocated on his own blood. The chainsaw didn't decapitate Nikolai immediately, in fact, it sputtered as it struggled to cut through Nikolai's neck bone, but Dempsey only pushed harder, revving the weapon faster, eventually able to hack through the neck bone, before cutting through the rest of Nikolai's neck with ease. Once the last thread of flesh had been severed, Dempsey immediately dropped the weapon, taking Nikolai's head in one hand and the rest of his body in the other. While hissing and grunting, Dempsey situated Nikolai's head onto the stairs leading to the second floor, before carelessly throwing the rest of Nikolai's body next to the bottom most stair. Twitching violently, he admired his work for a moment, before silently exiting the dome, now heading for the lake…

Richtofen scanned the entirety of the lake, only to come up with nothing. Letting out a growl of frustration, he considered leaving to find Takeo, "Where could that stupid American be?" As if on cue, Richtofen jolted when he heard footsteps approaching him from behind, causing him to swiftly turn around, only for his light to shine on the silhouette of what seemed to be Dempsey. His breathing was labored and he was hunched over, but most concerningly of all, he was stained with blood.
Richtofen blinked, perplexed, his morbid curiosity overriding his feeling of anxiety, "There you are, American! Now come with me and stop being dumb, we have to go find Takeo and return to the dome, Nikolai is waiting for us…" He spoke in his usual upbeat, teasing voice as he approached Dempsey, only to nearly jump out of his own skin, or fur, once his light illuminated Dempsey's void-like eyes and jaw that hung so far open that it appeared to be broken. Black goop was beginning to seep from his eyes and mouth, and he let out a disturbing groan as he started to stumble towards Richtofen. Richtofen yelped and took a few steps backwards, "Watch it, Americ-!" His scolding was cut short when Dempsey pounced on top of him, pinning Richtofen down, his head hitting the sand with a THUD. Richtofen immediately began to struggle, shouting obscenities at Dempsey, who didn't seem to hear them, or, if he did, care. Dempsey quickly shut Richtofen up as he began to ruthlessly beat him, busting a crack in his head and breaking multiple different bones. Richtofen screamed in pain and anger, continuing to struggle fruitlessly, however, his fear reached its peak whenever Dempsey pried one of his eyes open, grabbing it violently and tearing it out of its socket. Richtofen weakly beat on Dempsey as he tore his eye out agonizingly slowly, blood pouring into a pool around his head. Tears began to run out of his remaining eye, but he wouldn't be able to cry for long, for Dempsey went for his good eye the moment that he took care of his first eye. Another scream tore out of Richtofen's throat and through the night as Dempsey threw his second eye onto the ground next to him, watching emotionlessly as Richtofen finally lost consciousness.

Takeo let out an annoyed sigh as he circled the tree of life, only to find nothing. After a moment of considering his options, he decided to head to the lake and try to find Richtofen. As he neared the lake, a feeling of impending doom formed in Takeo's mind. He huffed, forcing himself to ignore the gut feeling. Finally arriving at the lake, he gasped quietly as his light illuminated the silhouette's of Dempsey and Richtofen. Takeo sighed, approaching the two, "Did you two get into a fight again?" He asked, annoyed. Dempsey's back was facing him, and he was standing as still as a statue. Takeo glanced at Richtofen, the shadows only allowing him to see a few bruises, so he didn't suspect much. Repeating the question didn't seem to get his attention, and the anxious feeling only grew stronger.
"Dempsey..?"
Takeo reached out to touch Dempsey, only to have the American whip around, black goo dripping from hollow, void-like eyes, letting out a blood curdling scream from his mouth that extended more than humanly possible, one that turned Takeo's blood to ice.
Takeo didn't waste a moment hesitating, instead turning and sprinting for the dome, swallowing hard as he heard the monster start to chase him. Zig-zagging in between endless amounts of trees, It felt like an eternity before he reached the dome, but when he finally did, his heart dropped. His eyes widened as he saw the decapitated head of Nikolai, and he was barely able to turn around and duck underneath an attempted attack from Dempsey before he continued running. He scrambled over a pile of rocks that blocked his path, side-stepping a falling tree shortly afterwards. Reaching the tree of life, he risked a glance behind him, allowing Dempsey to grab him by the neck with one hand, using the other to wrap a noose around the Japanese's neck. He pulled it closed as tightly as he could, crushing Takeo's windpipe, causing him to choke on his own blood. Dempsey continued to tug on the rope as Takeo coughed up blood, before finally losing consciousness.
