Chapter Text

Flashback Begins...

It was a beautiful snowy night on the planet of Copper-9. So perfect in fact, that Uzi and N had to go on a nightly flying date. They had a wonderful time as they held hands and danced on the clouds above, they stared longingly into each other's eyes, ready to...

"Eww, gross."

...And then V decided to interrupt the moment.

"V?! What in the sweet robot hell are you doing here?!" Uzi exclaimed as she promptly shoved N away from herself while attempting and failing to hide her embarrassment.

"Uuuh, third wheeling, duh?" the guiltless drone said without a hint of irony and full seriousness.

"Listen you stupid idiot, you can't just-"

"Uzi, V! Watch out!"

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

Before Uzi could finish her snarky comment, N quickly pulled them aside as sudden gunfire almost struck the two girls. The three of them tried to search for their attacker but were using the clouds to hide their position. With one swift motion, using the darkness of night and with their blades in hand, they slice a part of Uzi's left wing, causing her to plummet down to the ground.

"Uzi!" N called out as he chased after her with V quickly following suit.

Uzi with her quick thinking, manages to use what's left of her wings to glide down safely though, she definitely could have stuck her landing better.

"Nice to see that the barely sentient toaster's still as pathetic as ever," the attacker taunts as they land in front of Uzi, with an awfully familiar irritating voice. Uzi looks up to see her third favorite murder drone of the bunch.

"And I see that you're still just a petty loser J," Uzi scoffed as she readied her Solver abilities for yet another stand-off with an all too familiar drone.

"Uzi, are you okay?!" N said as he descended down with V, immediately checking to see if his girlfriend was alright.

"Ugh, seriously J, can we not do this tonight, or like ever?" V nagged as she had already grown weary of so many encounters with her ex-coworker.

"Yeah, and don't you lose like, all the time?" N added, not helping J’s mood right now.

"Shut up traitors, it's not even been that many times,"

They have fought 16 times since Cyn's defeat. J has lost all of them horribly. She even lost to Thad and Lizzy as they blew her head off with a railgun. So yeah, she's not doing too well in the winning department.

"Why did you even attack us tonight anyway?" V questioned.

"Well if you must know, I was gathering parts to repair the ship, and then I saw you idiots flying around and-"

"Wait, your ship's still not fixed?! Dear Robo-Jesus, it's been weeks!" Uzi cried out as she interrupted the monologuing drone from finishing her story.

"What, you think repairing a ship's easy? I'll have you know I-"

"I can take a look into your ship if you want to! I am a spaceship pilot after all," N proudly declared, having a smug chuckle at the fact that he was indeed, a spaceship pilot. The girls looked at him with nothing but confusion, shame, or disgust.

"That's enough! Today's the day I finally defeat-"

She lost in 30 seconds. It wasn't even close, there were three of them, with one of them having the powers of the Absolute Solver. She did not think this through.

"Krgh, I swear I'll have my revenge!" She proclaimed as she flew away with one of her hands missing and the ship part on the other.

"Bye J! I hope your ship repair goes well!" N joyfully exclaimed as he gleefully waved her goodbye.

"I really wish she would just quit it..." V scoffed as she looked ahead as her former ally flew away into the night.

"Seriously, what's her problem?" Uzi sighed as she watched with contempt as the disassembly drone disappeared into the night, hoping that this would be the last time she sees of her.

Flashback End...

_________

In the mines of Cabin Fever Labs, Nori was currently leading the trio of Uzi, N, and V toward somewhere that might just be the solution to Uzi's little... 'problem' inside of her.

"Sooo, what are we doing here exactly?" N questioned as he felt a little grossed out to be back where he was chased and almost eaten by an eldritch being controlled by Cyn.

"When I was still doing experiments for the dumb humans here, I heard them talk about some sort of fail-safe for Cyn. A program they were working on to nullify the Solver for good in case things go south, the Alt/Delete Program they called it," Nori explains, using her Solver abilities to carry her pickaxe as she leads the group further into the depths.

"That explains why you weren't at my homecoming..." Uzi pouted as she looked at her mom with her signature railgun in hand.

"Yeah well, coming from someone who's been thoroughly experimented on and highly secretive herself, I had a feeling that Cyn was still somewhere inside of you. Even if you were keeping secrets from all of us," Nori retorted, giving her daughter the side eye in the process.

"Like mother, like daughter eh?"

"Bite me!!" The mother and daughter scathingly say to N who was just trying to lighten the mood.

"So, are you even sure that this thing exists in the first place?" V says with full skepticism.

"Well, we'll just have to-."

"It doesn't exist, and you're all gonna die in the process," a robotically monotone voice coming from Uzi's tail interrupts Nori before she can finish her explanation. Everyone audibly groaning as it spoke up.

"Can we seriously not just cut her tail off or something?" V grunted as she buried her face in her hands, wishing that she wouldn't hear that voice ever again.

"It just grows back. Trust me, I've tried. A lot." Uzi moaned as Cyn's voice was the last thing she wanted to hear in this situation, recalling the many times she clipped off her tail. Disappointed at the fact that she just kept coming back like a robo-cockroach.

"Look, once we find the Alt/Delete Program, Cyn'll be out of our lives for good," Nori assured as she strived forward into the mines.

*Bam!*

However, two seconds after Nori's confident reassurance to the gang, a missile goes barrelling in their direction. With their quick instincts, both Nori and Uzi used their Solver powers to stop the missile mid-flight and turn it off before it could reach them.

"Well, well, fancy seeing you morons here," J said as she stepped out of the shadows in front of them, her arm cannon locked and loaded in their direction.

"Ugghhh, are you serious right now?! What are you even doing here?!" Uzi snapped and groaned as she pointed her railgun at the constantly defeated disassembly drone strutted in front of them with some seriously unfounded confidence.

"Hah, like I'll tell you," J responded with a smugness in her voice.

"Isn't this that murder drone that sided with Cyn and got her butt whooped by you guys?" Nori remarked as she squinted her eyes, swearing that she'd seen her somewhere before.

"I did not get my butt whooped-!"

_____________

Lower at the depths of the mines, happening at the same time as that fruitful conversation going on upstairs, two humans in hazmat suits were on their way to somewhere way above their pay grade.

"Hey dude, do you think corporate actually cares about us?" the human whose name you shouldn't care about says to his acquaintance you also shouldn't care about.

"Come on man, why would you think that?" the clueless human said as they trudged their way across disgusting fleshy waste.

"I mean, they don't pay us and they sent us to this eternal toxic winter planet filled with nothing but drones, some of em capable of killing us by the way, only for us to do some stupid tasks like putting their 'experimental tech' down near the drones' colony and turning on the generator down here. And now, we're trudging through a scary mineshaft that housed an A.I. that murdered a bunch of our co-workers, just to open a door?" the human exposited in great length and detail for the sake of convenient storytelling.

"Look, this is our last task. Plus, they said once we're done, we'll get free ice cream for life!" the other human joyfully announced.

"Woah seriously?! That makes this whole thing worth it then!" he spouted as all his reservations about this mission went out the window.

The two humans reach the place they were tasked to, the Cryosleep Chamber. With a swipe of their card, a few beeps and boops on the keypad, and some blissful ignorance sprinkled in, the huge metallic doors slowly start to open. The two humans turn their backs toward the door, not noticing something creeping out of it.

"Welp that ends our mission here."

"Exactly, now we can go back happy and alive for some ice cream. Wait, aren't we supposed to download some kinda program before we do this part?"

"Oh yeaaahhh... pssh, it'll be fiiine-AARGHHHHH?!?!?!!"

The thing in the chamber escapes as the humans get violently devoured by it. However, its stomach is not yet full and it needs more to feed...

_________

"Anyway, now that I've thoroughly explained that I didn't get my butt whooped by you guys, I think it's about time we end this," J proclaims, readying her canon to her targets.

"I think it's finally time we put you down for good-?"

Before Uzi could finish her one-liner, the ground beneath them violently shook.

"What is-?!"

*Crack!*

The ground split where they stood, causing them to plunge further into the depths of the mines. Their screams ringing out as they fall deeper into the abyss. Of course all of them could fly, except one...

"Mom!" Uzi cries out as she tries to reach her her mother falling beneath her. Her hands almost reach her but...

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

"C'mon, can't we all be friends again?" N nervously chuckled as he suggested that.

"Seriously J?! We're literally falling to our deaths here!" V fumed as she tried to dodge J's approaching gunfire.

"Oh really? All I see is that this is the perfect opportunity to put you morons down for good..." the bitter murder drone smiled as she charged up her laser canon at Uzi, ready to end her.

"Well, you can shove this up your butt and bite me!" the irritated teen hollered as she charges up her railgun and pulled the trigger.

"No, wait-!"

Nori's warnings were soon drowned out as the beams from J's canon and Uzi's railgun clashed and exploded on impact, causing a bright flash of light and damaging everyone in the vicinity as they all got knocked out and plunged into the deepest depths of the mines...

________

"Argh..."

Uzi woke up injured and wincing in pain, looking around her to find no one else nearby, she freaked out a bit and almost got into a panic before she thankfully heard a voice a few meters ahead of her. She ran ahead and found her mom recovering from the fall but as she continued looking around... she was all Uzi could find.

"N?! V?! Where are you guys?!" Uzi cried out as she searched all around for them

"I'm fine, thank you for asking," Nori said as she rubbed the top of her head- er, heart. A lil miffed that her daughter went and ignored her to search for a couple of murder drones.

"What if they're really hurt? What if something got to them? What if-?"

"Hey, focus! We have to worry about ourselves first," Nori remarked as she picked up her hard hat and pickaxe from the ground.

"B-but N, he's somewhere-."

Uzi's words were yet again interrupted by her mother, not with words this time, but a smack in her face.

"They're probably fine! They're murder drones after all. Do you not think they can take care of themselves?" Nori rebutted, telling her daughter to ready up for what's going to lie ahead for them.

"Y-yeah, I guess you're right..." the dazed drone mutters as she gathers her bearings to find her friends and get the hell out of here.

"Though hopefully not too fine..." Nori whispers under her breath...

"What was that?"

"O-oh nothing babe, haha,"

_________

On the flip side of the mines though, N just woke up from his bad fall and already wishes that he hit his head harder on the way down because it would be a heck of a lot better than dealing with this situation...

"Get outta the way N! It's time we end this traitor here and now!" V exclaimed as she points her hand blades towards the direction of J.

"Took the words right out of my mouth," J heartily agreed as she readied her submachine gun at both of their directions.

"That's enough you two!" N yelled out as he stood in the middle of the two of them, looking like a child stopping his parents from bickering.

"Just think about this. V, your right leg's damaged, J, your left hand isn't even attached to your body, all of our wings are damaged right now and we're all lost inside a spooky mineshaft with no idea how to get out. Do you really think this is a good time to fight?" N rebuked, laying out some surprisingly good points for his type.

"Oh yeah, totally."

"What's wrong with now?"

The two girls agreed in unison, not realizing how completely asinine they sounded right about now.

"Oh c'mon, we used to be on the same side! Now you girls can't just squash the beef for like two seconds? Or at the very least until we get out of this creepy place?" N suggested, hoping that his pleas for peace work this time...

The two girls looked at each other, weighed their options in their heads, and with a sigh, they lowered their weapons and disarmed themselves.

"...Tsk, fiiine. But I'm killing her when we're outta here though," V groans as he goes to heal her leg.

"Whatever traitors, this doesn't change anything," J remarked as she went to pick up her detached arm and putting it back on.

"Yesss, the original trio's back in business!" N squealed in joy as he pulled in his two buddies in for a celebratory group hug...

"That's not what's happening right now."

"Don't talk to me, bozo."

Only to be promptly shoved away in disgust by the two ladies...

"So what exactly are we supposed to do now?" V asked.

"Oh umm, we should find Uzi and Nori! If anyone knows this creepy crawly place the best, it's definitely Uzi's mom!" N suggested the first thought that came to his mind.

"And how exactly are we supposed to find them?" J fired back another question in his direction.

"We'll... figure that one out as we go! And hey, maybe we'll find the Alt/Delete Program along the way!" N concluded in nervous glee as he marched ahead to the dark and spooky tunnel in front of him, signaling the two uneasy girls to follow his lead, with J speculating on N's last words.

"The Alt/Delete Program..."

_________

N and Nori were traversing through the dark tunnels of the fleshy mineshaft, using the light from Nori's hardhat to guide their way. They then are confronted by two different paths laid out in front of them.

"This way," Nori said as she confidently turned right, signaling her daughter along.

"So, do you think this path's gonna lead us to N?" the anxious girlfriend asked, expecting a positive answer from her mother.

"What? Oh honestly, I'm not worried about him right now. I'm just trying to find the right way to the Alt/Delete Program," her mother said plainly, not giving the answer she quite expected.

"You- WHAT?! Mom, we have to find them! N might be in danger or worse he could be-!"

"What I'm more worried about than some dumb murder drone who acts like a walking, talking puppy commercial, is the genocidal A.I. living inside of my daughter that we have to get rid of, pronto," Nori interrupts, not giving what Uzi said a second thought as she continues on forward.

"Okay Mom, what's your problem with N?" Uzi fumed as she stopped in her tracks, feeling just a tiny bit irritated by how her mother's acting right now.

"...What are you talking about? I don't have anything against him," she answers in a very unconvincing manner.

"Don't give me that. You've been giving him crap ever since I told you he's my boyfriend," her daughter scrutinized, not feeling very appreciative of her mother right now.

"I have not-."

"I know when you're keeping secrets mom, I'm your daughter. But it sure doesn't feel like I am half the time." Uzi interrupts this time, making sure to get her point across.

"What? Uzi, what's that supposed to mean?"

"You never show your face anywhere at home now. You never bothered showing up to any of my PTA meetings, or my school events. It's like you're embarrassed to show your face anywhere in the bunker!" Uzi continued, making her intentions very clear with what she was saying.

"Look at me Uzi. I'm just a heart right now, I don't even have a body to go back to. Not to mention, I... basically ruined the lives of you and so many other worker drones on this planet. How can I ever show my face to anyone anymore,"

"So is N! He's a fricking murder drone who has the exact same problems as you but he's always there for me, no matter what! Why... why can't you do that for me too?" Uzi finished as Nori could see her eyes well up.

"Uzi... I'm-."

"Forget it, I'm going to find N and V on my own," she says as she walks the opposite of where her mother was heading, wiping away her visor as she does.

But then, they hear an ungodly screech heading their way and, Nori could identify right away exactly where and what it came from. With quick thinking, she pulls Uzi to a corner and closes her mouth so they don't make any noise. The eldritch abomination then quickly passes them by, not noticing them at all. The same creature that was chasing Nori and N when they first met.

"What... is that thing?" Uzi asked, not knowing what she just witnessed.

_______

"So wait, you're telling me that the sentient toaster and Moron Bot here are actually... together?" J blurted out, not wanting to believe what she just heard about Uzi and N's relationship status.

"Yep, it's as gross as you think it is," V replied as she debriefed what exactly's happened to them since Cyn's defeat.

"I think you mean beautiful," N corrected, pointing to the path ahead with his flashlight hand.

The three disassembly drones have been walking together for quite some time, trying to look for missing worker drones and being blissfully unaware of what lies in wait for them.

"So J, how's the ship repairing going along?" N asked, genuinely curious about the ship's condition as he is in fact, a spaceship pilot.

"It's going just fine, not like it's any of your business anyway," J haughtily answered.

"You know my offer still stands about fixing the ship right?"

"I'm not ever going to ask for your help, loser," J promptly shoots down N's suggestion to help, leaving the spaceship pilot severely disappointed.

"B-but I'm a spaceship pilot..." the spaceship pilot quietly muttered to himself as he hung his head low.

"And... what exactly are you going to do once the ship's fixed?" V inquired to her former ally.

"Hah, what else? Go to JC Jenson and make myself a successful career woman," the not-so-successful career woman answered with haste and confidence.

"But what if-?"

"Hey look, what's that?!"

V's reply was cut short by N's curious scream as he pointed to a shining light in the distance. The trio quickly make their way towards the light and sees a lone computer sitting on the table, turned on and looking ominously important to the plot.

"How the heck is this thing still on?" V wondered, though not even the other murder drones had the answer to her question.

"Welp, time to go internet-sleuthing. Hey, maybe this thing has the program we're searching for!" N quickly sits down on the chair as he picks up the mouse and searches the computer for the Alt/Delete Program, acting like he knows what he's doing.

"Oh come on N, do you actually think we somehow just miraculously stumbled on the program we were looking for-?"

"Found it! Man, what're the odds of that huh?"

V's words of disbelief were quickly taken down by N, finding the Alt/Delete Program in the computer. He quickly ejects a USB from his finger and plugs it into the computer, downloading the program.

"So you're telling me that this Program can get rid of Cyn for good?" J probes, finding this program a little too good to be true.

"According to Uzi's mom, yeah! And she's like, the expert when it comes to these things," N responds in glee, as he takes the USB out of the computer as it finishes its download.

"And her mom's... a freak like her?"

"Hey, don't call them that J. The two of them are awesome people," N quickly refuted J's words, not wanting to tolerate what she just said about them.

J was about to make a snarky remark to him on the cheesy things that just out of his mouth, but she didn't manage to as a sharp projectile narrowly misses her head, as it whizzes past them at a frightening speed. It does, however, destroy the computed that housed the Alt/Delete Program. The gang looked to where the projectile was launched and saw nothing but many yellow eyes looking at them from a distance.

"...Run away immediately?" V nervously suggested as she stared at the entity.

"That's not soon enough!"

As N said that, he had already bolted from his position with the two girls following suit. The abomination gave chase as the three drones tried their best to get away from the thing. However, J wouldn't be so lucky...

"Argh, you stupid little-!" the helpless drone grunts out as the tendrils of the monster drag her ever so closely to the mouth of The Amalgamation of flesh and machine. J then took full notice of her bullets doing nothing as they got absorbed into the fleshy insides of the thing. Was this... the end for-

*Shing!*

Of course it wasn't, as N cuts the tendril holding J with his blade hand, causing the creature to squeal in pain. Shortly afterwards, V throws a grenade in their direction but not just any plain old grenade, a flashbang. The blinding light temporarily blinds The Amalgamation, and when it regains its sight, the drones are nowhere to be found...

"Why did you morons save me? I didn't need any of your help!" J points out in a very unconvincing manner.

"We can't have the gang breaking up after we just got back together!" N replied in full sincerity. Well, J expected that from N, but as she looks in V's direction...

"Hey, I was just trying to save this idiot's butt cuz he went back to save you. Uzi wouldn't let me hear the end of it if something happened to him," V snarkily comments, feigning ignorance of V's near-death experience.

"W-well, I... this doesn't mean anything you got that?!" J declares as she haughtily storms off into the distance with a pout on her face. At that moment, N and V shared a look with each other and chuckled to themselves.

"Welp, we got the Alt/Delete Program, now we have to reunite with Uzi and her mom get the heck outta here," N announces as he proudly holds the USB in his hand.

_________

"Wait so, what exactly is that thing?" Uzi asks, as she is now following her mom who looks especially distressed.

"It's one of Cyn's murder pets," Nori answered.

"Well, what's it doing here?!"

"After Cyn was defeated, that thing was just dormant in the Cryosleep Chamber, so I locked it in there and threw away the key. How in the hell did that thing escape? And more importantly, why is it moving?" her mother explains, as she turns the right corner, her pace hurrying as she constantly scans her surroundings for The Amalgamation.

"Oh, that's because of me," the voice behind Uzi answers Nori's second question.

"Cyn...? What do you mean by that?" Uzi says as she slowly turns her head around to face the voice talking to her.

"Oh, nothing. Because I'm now in close proximity to The Amalagation, I can now control it as I please. Just know that I'm currently looking for your boyfriend right now so he can experience a most painful and agonizing death," the psycho A.I. clarified in a monotone manner, chuckling to itself in glee.

"...We have to find N..!" Uzi says as she runs ahead of Nori, hurriedly looking around to see if there are any signs of N.

"Uzi wait! We have to get out of here first!" Nori proclaimed as she rushed in front of her daughter, blocking her way and ensuring that she didn't go any further.

"I don't need you being an overprotective parent like how dad used to be, mom! We have to find N!" Uzi exclaims with conviction in her voice.

"What's more important to me Uzi, is that you're safe!"

"Yeah, and N's life doesn't matter at all huh?" Uzi retorted, not having anything that her mother is saying right now.

"Uzi..."

"You never explained yourself mom, why... why do you hate N so much?" her daughter shakily asks.

There was a moment of silence of silence that fell between the mother and daughter. And Uzi gave up hope of her mother ever answering that question as she began to walk away from her. With a sigh, Nori was finally ready to answer her daughter's question.

"He's... the disassembly drone that melted my body."

"...What? N's the one that- no way..." Uzi couldn't even form a proper sentence because of the disbelief from the revelation she just heard.

"Yeah, I was going to tell you sooner..."

"But N's not like that anymore! It was Cyn's fault he was like that in the first place! He's changed himself and-"

"I know sweetie. Honestly, I don't even think I'm mad at him for that anymore," Nori trails off as Uzi was defending her partner with full determination.

"Th-then why?"

"I think... I'm mad at him because of how much time he gets to spend with you. How he was there for you when I wasn't, how he took care of you while I ruined your life... I think I was actually mad at myself but chose to blame him for my mistakes instead..." Nori finishes despondently, facing her daughter to say her final lines.

"I don't deserve to be in your life, Uzi."

"....."

Uzi couldn't find the words for this situation. How could she after the bombshell she just learned from her mom. But she mustered up the words she needed to say to her, what she always thought of saying but never had the time to.

"What are you talking about mom? You gave me cool psychic eldritch genetics, how could I not be proud to have you as my mom?" Uzi responded with a smile on her face.

"What? Uzi, I-"

"So what if I get a little murder hungry once in a while? I wouldn't change a thing about me! And plus, it's not even your fault that we're like this, it's those dumb humans doing stupid experiments on drones in the first place!" she continued.

"But that doesn't change the fact that I was never there for you..."

"Yeah? Well, you're here now aren't you? And news flash, I'm going to need you and N in my life whether you like it or not. So you can go and bite me if you think you don't deserve to be in mine cuz I'll be damn sure to drag you back into it when it gets tough!" Uzi finishes with a smirk on her face, almost feeling like patting herself on the back with the words she just said.

The two of them didn't say anything to each other for a while after that. After a while, the embarrassment set in on what they just laid out for each other. The two of them gave each other an awkward smirk that only a mother and her child could give each other as they looked ahead.

"Alright Uzi, let's go and find your boyfriend," Nori gave in as she trudged along ahead.

"Yeah! Let's- wait, hearing you calling N that is a little..."

"Uzi! There you are!"

Uzi's remarks were cut short as she could see her boyfriend calling out to her in the distance, waving happily in her direction.

"N!!!"

She rushes towards him at full speed, proceeding to pull him into a hug that would've given a trash compactor a run for its money.

"It's great to see you too Uzi..." he says as he pats her on the head, only for his hand to be smacked away by his second pat by his girlfriend.

"You're... okay right?" Uzi asks him, checking all around his body for any sign of injury.

"Fit as a fiddle!" N responds, causing Uzi to smile at his cheerfulness.

"Oh my god, it's even grosser in person," a mildly irritating voice reaches Uzi's earholes. But surely she must've heard wrong... right? She looks behind N to see V and... J, who looks like is about to throw up at the sight of them even though she's a drone.

"What are you doing here?!" Uzi yells out as she goes up to J's face in anger and confusion.

"Oh trust me loser, it wasn't by choice. Why not you ask those idiots?" the drone in question responded with smugness in her tone and face. Uzi then turned to face V.

"Hey, don't look at me, I was more than happy to put bullets in her face. But your boyfriend here talked us into 'working together' till we got out," V answers, not wanting to take any of the blame nor any of Uzi's wrath for this.

"Hey now, we don't need any more fighting here. And good news, we found the Program!" N excitedly announces as he waggles the USB in his hand.

"What- NO WAY! N, you're amazing!" Uzi giggled as she pulled him into another hug.

"You're not too bad after all, murder drone," Nori could do nothing but smile to herself at the sight of the two of them.

"Hehehe, thanks. Now all we have to do is find a way out of-"

*Crash*

N's embarrassed self was quickly interrupted by The Amalgamation crashing through the wall beside them, knocking everyone to the side, and more importantly, causing N to let go of the USB as it now teeters precariously beside a deep chasm of darkness. The creature then drags N by its tendrils, wrapping its tentacles tightly on N's body so he doesn't escape or use any of his weapons.

"Huh? Wha-?"

Nori was the first of the group to come to, and she saw N inches away from getting devoured but she then looked to her other side as she saw the USB that held the only copy of the Alt/Delete Program about to fall and be lost forever...

"It's snack time..." Cyn declared menacingly as she spoke through The Amalgamation. Ready for the helpless N to be devoured whole-

*Shing!*

Nori threw her pickaxe at the tendril that held the murder drone, cutting the tendril and the murder drone free, saving him from certain death. This is kind of a familiar situation, isn't it? However as Nori, looked behind her, the USB was no longer there...

"B-but the USB-"

"Yeah well, according to my daughter you're more important so... kind of an easy decision there," the heart remarks to the murder drone she just saved.

"Angry!" The Amalgamation rushes towards them, ready to feast on the two.

*Bam!*

Only to be stopped by a plasma laser to the face, courtesy of V.

"You're not getting past me," V, feeling very proud of herself for that cliche one-liner, proclaimed to the beast as she readied to stand off against it, with N and Nori quickly joining in the fight.

"Urgh..." The dazed Uzi was the last to wake up from the hit. She looked to see the three of them, fighting The Amalgamation with their lives on the line. She then quickly took hold of her rail gun, charged it, and took aim at The Amalgamation. But where should she hit it...? And just then...

"Hey, toaster! Aim it as this!" J pops out, seemingly in the nick of time and out of nowhere, as she shoots her missile right at where the creature's core would be. Only that it didn't explode, its soft flesh stopped the missile from exploding on impact. At that moment, Uzi knew exactly what the plan was as a sinister grin formed on her face...

"Hehehe, the three of you better get out of there! Cuz I'm gonna blow that ugly thing to smithereens!" Uzi evilly chuckled to herself in a psychotic manner as she aimed her sick-as-hell railgun right at J's missile. The three of them, heeding her warning, quickly got out of the way and as soon as they were, Uzi pulled the trigger. Cyn, realizing what they were up to, a little too late, could only mutter the words...

"Honestly? Should've seen this coming."

*Pshing!!!*

Uzi's aim was as perfect as always as her railgun's beam strikes the missile, supercharging it, and then...

*Boooommm!!!*

As the smoke settled, The Amalgamation was nowhere to be seen, what's left of its body parts painted the walls and floor of the mines. Uzi then proceeded to celebrate by doing her celebratory handshake with N and V, and then awkwardly missing their timings on the bumps. They're still working on it okay?

________

Up on the surface, the gang, finally out of that hellhole, faces yet another dilemma...

"Just because I worked together with you that one time, doesn't mean I accept you okay!?" Uzi declared to J, still debating if they should really let her go or not.

"Hmph, just admit that you would've been totally helpless without my genius intellect," J attests as she whips her hair to Uzi's direction.

"You slimy little-!"

"Okay okay, I think that's enough of that from you two," N came in between the two of them, attempting to mediate the situation before the two started killing each other... again.

"SHE STARTED IT!" said the haughty murder drones at the same time. Then proceeding to feel a little embarrassed by their displayed synchronicity.

"Whatever, I'm out of here," J announced as she spreads her already healed wings. But before she could fly away...

"Hey J, it was a pretty cool plan all things considered," V stated, as J felt the slightest bit pleased by those words.

"But I'm still gonna shoot your face off the next time we meet though," V continued, immediately going back to how she acted prior, not missing a beat to threaten her old coworker with violence.

"Yeah well, right back at you," J says as she takes off into the night...

"...There's no way she's gonna be joining our side by the end of this right?" Uzi hopes to everything that is holy that the foreshadowing she just uttered out doesn't come true.

"C'mon Uzi, it's time to go home," Nori said as she started making her way back to the bunker.

"But, what about the Program?" Uzi questions, knowing that the only copy of the program was lost forever.

"Yeah well, I bet another convoluted solution to get rid of Cyn will show up eventually. So let's worry about that when it comes to it," Nori answers, no longer worrying about the current threat inside her daughter for now as she only has to make up for her lost time with her daughter.

"Not to mention, Christmas is right around the corner! So you know we have to focus on that first!" N joyfully proclaimed, as he grabs ahold of Uzi and carrying her on his shoulders in an attempt to lift her spirits.

"You're such a loser N. Why do we even celebrate Christmas? We're robots," V blurts out, questioning the logic of it all.

Uzi looked around to see some of her most important people laughing and getting along with each other as she could do nothing but smile and laugh along with them. Happy that she's got so many people who will stand beside her, no matter what.

"Oh, but it's too bad J probably won't join us..." N supposed as he looked to the sky where N parted ways with them, wondering what she was up to now...

_______

J arrives at where she left her spaceship, scanning her surroundings if there is anyone nearby, and thankfully for her, there wasn't. She enters her ship and closes the door behind her as she pulls something from her pocket... The USB of the Alt/Delete Program. She managed to swipe it when no one was looking from the battle with The Amalgamation. She then opens the communication systems of the ship she fixed a few days prior, preparing to send a message with information of interest to the sender in question. And who was the message to? None other than JCJenson...

To be continued...

Notes:

Wow, this took longer than expected. And with way more words too! This is probably gonna be the longest chapter of the 6 I have planned... I hope. I wanted to focus more on the fractured relationships for this one, and I hope it was to your guys' likings! Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this episode of mine and as usual, lemme know your thoughts on the chapter and any questions you may have! The next chapter is probably gonna be a while though cuz I definitely need a break after this. Oh, and if you haven't guessed, the next chapter's gonna be Christmas-themed and ooh boy, I plan to pack a punch for that one. So, until next time!

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this first episode I made. Sorry that some characters didn't appear that much, I wanted to focus more of Uzi and N for this first chapter. After the season finale, I had to go and make this. What an amazing show Murder Drones was, from start to finish. This won't be too long of a series btw, I'm planning for at most, 6 chapters to wrap up the loose ends I have in my head. V and J will be more prominent characters in the next episode, I promise, so look forward to that! If you have any questions, be sure to comment down below and leave your thoughts on this silly little episode of mine. Until next time!
