Summary
Copper-9. A formerly lively exo-planet colonized by JCJension as a mining colony, now reduced to an icy wasteland where the dead sit frozen in the aftermath of their own mistakes. Upon said rock are only two known signs of intelligent life. The Worker Drones, JcJension’s own man-made slaves and the Disassembly Drones, vicious dealers of death who aim to slice and dice any Drones who didn’t follow the company’s rules to the letter.
But what of the others? What kind of vast manufacturing company only makes two lines of robotic helpers? Especially when one is made to destroy the other?
On Copper-9, a lone Worker Drone’s wreckless antics may awaken something she never would have expected in her short, miserable, teenage years on that frozen rock of a planet.
After all, humans suck. Why would that build something that’s supposed to protect Worker Drones of all things?
