Chapter Text

“Shiren, you fucking dick! Why the hell wouldn't you wake me up?” Gyu shouted as his twin, frantically searching for a clean shirt.

“Because, Gyu-nii, its fun to watch you run around. And besides, I was in the shower.” Shiren shrugged, slipping on a pair of jeans and toweling his hair dry.

“Then wake me the fuck up, for shit's sake.”

“But that's no fun.” Gyu just rolled his eyes and grabbed his jacket, leaving his brother behind. He ran down the stairs to the kitchen where his parents were eating breakfast.

“Morning, Gyu, where's Shiren?” Shinya asked, passing his son a cup of much-needed coffee.

“Taking his sweet time upstairs. He didn't wake me up and now I'm going to miss the cast posting.”

“Wait, did you seriously sign up for that damn musical?” Guren muttered tiredly, taking a bite of french toast.

“I sure did, Guren, and it looks like I'm getting the lead. You'll have to come watch me perform on opening night, right Papa?” Gyu smirked and turned to Shinya, who nodded.

“Of course we will, wouldn't want to miss your debut. I'm proud of you for actually auditioning, I met your father at a school play.” Gyu groaned and picked up his keys, not bothering to tell Shiren he was leaving.

“I know, I know, I've heard the story.” Before Shinya could continue his story Gyu grabbed a piece of toast and ran out the door, shoving his bag into the passenger seat and pulling out of the driveway. On his way to school, he noticed Kimito's car heading in the opposite direction and grimaced, knowing that he wouldn't hear the end of it from Shiren later. The white haired teen still refused to acknowledge his feelings for the fiery redhead, claiming it was simply a 'friends with benefits' situation.

It was an obvious lie, Gyu could see love painted across his twins features every time he returned from Kimito's house, noticed the little smiles that formed whenever they talked. Gyu gagged just thinking about it, parking in front of the school. He watched as Michi hopped out of his own car, hair done up with a few bows and pink clips. He looked adorable, Gyu thought, his own cheeks pinking up as he followed the smaller boy inside.

“Hey, midget?” He called, running to catch up. Michi sighed softly and turned to Gyu, head tilting in confusion.

“Hey. Wait, something's different about you.” Michi's eyes raked over Gyu's form, trying to pinpoint the change.

“Have you finally noticed how good looking I am?” Michi punched Gyu's arm lightly, finally noticing what was wrong.

“Your hair, you didn't pin up your hair.” Michi reached up to tug at a chunk of shaggy black hair with a laugh.

“Seriously? There's no way.” Sure enough, when Gyu ran his hands through his hair his pins were nowhere to be found.

“Shit, this is all Shiren's fault, fucking asshole,” Gyu mumbled as he dug through his bag, hoping to find at least a bobby pin for his overgrown bangs.

“Here, take these. They're my sister's, she forced me to play barber shop this morning.” Michi unclasped a couple pink hair clips from his fluffy hair and handed them to Gyu, who took them with a smirk.

“Didn't take you for the type who likes little bows.”

“Shut up, if I hadn't let her do my hair then I probably would have ended up with a broken arm. She's only eleven but she can be scary.” Michi shuddered at the thought of Yuumi's tantrums, grabbing back his clips.

“What are you doing?” Gyu asked, hands on his hips.

“Lean down, I can't reach from here,” Michi muttered reluctantly, turning pink when Gyu crouched down slightly, their eyes level. They didn't break eye contact as Michi gently pulled Gyu's bangs to the side and pinned them back, the younger boy trying not to notice just how soft Gyu's hair was and how much he wanted to run his hands through it properly.

“There, that's better. Although I sort of like your hair down, it suits you.” Gyu forced down a blush and stood back up, stretching. He checked his reflection in his phone and smirked, adjusting the clips slightly.

“Not bad, not really my color, but not bad. Thanks, Michi.” Michi nodded and pulled away quickly, turning his attention to the school.

“Didn't Yoichi say the final cast list was going up this morning?”

“Yoichi? You mean the teacher running the auditions? Yeah, I think so. Want to go check?”

“Sure, I guess.” Jokingly, Gyu linked their arms together and began to walk, realizing with a start that Michi hadn't pulled away. They made their way through the crowded halls to the bulletin board, glancing down the list of names.

“We got it! We got the roles!” Michi cried, pulling Gyu into a spontaneous hug. Gyu turned pink immediately and pulled away, patting Michi on the head.

“I told you I would make the lead, I think you owe me an apology.”

“Fine, I'm sorry for doubting your 'oh so wonderful' acting skills,” Michi said sarcastically, skin burning where Gyu had touched him.

“Am I sensing some sass, little bunny?” Michi rolled his eyes and looked at the paper again, finding the understudies.

“Shiren Ichinose, who is that?” He asked quietly, the name ringing a bell.

“Wait, Shiren? Where do you see that?”

“Under Romeo, he's your understudy.”

“What the fuck!” Gyu yelled, glancing around and searching for that familiar mop of white hair.

“Gyu, calm down, what's the matter?”

“That's my asshole twin brother. Where the hell is he, he needs to explain this shit.” Michi struggled to comprehend the situation, following Gyu as he stalked through the halls.

“So what if he's your understudy, it's not a big deal.”

“It means that sadistic bastard is planning something, and that's never good.” Michi sighed and tugged Gyu's hand, stopping him.

“Gyu, it's going to be fine, I'm sure your brother just wanted to be a part of the play like you are.” Gyu shook his head but didn't pull away, holding tightly to Michi's hand.

“There's no way in hell, he's got to be up to something.” Michi rolled his eyes and wrenched his hand from Gyu's grasp, rubbing it softly.

“Quit being so paranoid, we'll probably see him this afternoon, at the first rehearsal. Everyone has to go, so you can ask him then.” Gyu took a deep breath and nodded, the anger fading from his amethyst eyes.

“Alright, fine. Look, do you want to sit with me at lunch? If we're going to be working together for the next few months then we may as well get to know each other.” Michi nodded, blushing.

“I would like that. See you later, Gyu.” Michi ran down the hall to his class, Gyu doing the same when he realized the time.

“Shit!” He yelled, dashing past crowds of people and making it to his math class just before the bell rang. But it was impossible for Gyu to focus, mind too wrapped up in Shiren's plan and the memory of Michi pinning up his hair. It should have been an awkward moment, he should have slapped Michi's hand away before it could touch his hair like he would have done with anyone else. But Gyu hadn't been able, hadn't even wanted to.

That, in and of itself, was a miracle. Gyu had been particular about his hair since he was ten, meticulously pinning it up with the golden clips he had gotten on his birthday. Not once had he let someone touch it, even the slightest bit. But that was before the audition, before Michi. Gyu sighed and tried to focus on his trigonometry work, still able to feel Michi's soft hand on his own.

Eventually, he gave up and zoned out for the rest of class, doing the same with his next one as well. It was impossible to do anything without thinking about that blue eyed boy, not when he knew they would see each other again in only a few minutes. When the bell for lunch rang Gyu grabbed his lunch box and ran, spotting Michi standing awkwardly in the cafeteria.

“Michi, over here.” He called, waving a hand. Michi startled and looked up, winding his way around tables to find Gyu.

“Where do you want to sit?” He asked shyly, searching for an empty table.

“Not here, I have a different spot for us.” Michi looked at Gyu with confusion but followed the tall raven anyway, heading up multiple flights of stairs.

“Gyu, what's up here?”

“You'll see, just give me a second.” With a grin, Gyu pulled open a door at the top of the stairwell. Sunlight made Michi squint as Gyu pulled him onto the roof, revealing a few pillows and blankets spread out.

“Did you put this here?”

“Yep, I found this place my freshman year and I've been eating up here ever since. Figured I'd show you, being the outstanding guy that I am.” Michi rolled his eyes and plopped down on a soft pillow, setting down his bag and pulling out his lunch.

“Do you take all the girls up here too?” Gyu shook his head and sat next to Michi, pulling out a lunchbox plastered with band stickers.

“You're the first person I've ever told.” He said plainly, digging through his lunchbox for the brownie he had packed. To his utter dismay, all he found was a note, tucked carefully behind his sandwich. 'Gyu-nii, I stole your dessert. Think of it as revenge for leaving me this morning. Have fun with your little Michi-chan.' It was signed with a laughing face, further proof that Shiren was the culprit.

“Damn it, this is the third time.” Gyu sighed and cast the note aside, taking a bite of his sandwich.

“What happened?” Michi asked, pulling out a sandwich of his own.

“That asshole took my brownie since I didn't drive him to school. It's his own damn fault, though, he never woke me up and I didn't want to be late.” Michi laughed and took out a plastic container, passing it to Gyu.

“Here, have my dessert,” Gyu smiled and cracked open the lid, wrinkling his nose at the mess inside.

“Michi, what the hell even is this? It doesn't look like dessert, much the less food.”

“Hmm, ith a cmmbop.”

“What?” Michi flushed and swallowed his bite of turkey.

“Sorry. I said it's a combo pie. My family does this thing where we try to make different desserts that are made of other desserts. This one is cherry pie, doughnut, candy bar, and chocolate frosting.” Gyu frowned at the concoction but took a fork from Michi and tasted a bite, eyes widening.

“Holy shit, that's actually delicious.” He grinned, digging in.

“See? We've been doing it nearly every weekend for years, my sister invented it.”

“The more hear about that chick, the more I like her.” Gyu's lips were stained red with cherry filling, Michi noticed, quickly glancing away before Gyu noticed he was staring.

“You two are actually kind of similar, I'm sure you would both love tormenting me,” Gyu smirked and ruffled the smaller boys hair, passing back the messy container.

“Here, you can have half. And I should really meet her one of these days. But, of course, that would require me going to your house.”

“No way, not gonna happen. My family teases me enough about you, the second they see us together it's going to get a thousand times worse.” Gyu laughed and ran his hands through his hair, an old habit. They fell into a relaxing silence as they ate, Michi's cheeks turning a soft pink as they sat together. After a while, he broke the silence.

“Why do you always wear those pins in your hair? I mean, they're cool, but I feel like you do it for a reason.” Gyu startled from his daze, stuffing his lunchbox into his bag. For the first time ever, he didn't want to give an answer. Normally he would be eager to brag about his Hiiragi affiliations but somewhere, in the back of his mind, he felt like telling Michi would be a bad idea. Everyone knew the stories of Hiiragi's, knew that they were dangerous to be around. Gyu didn't want to scare off his new little friend, ruining any chance of a relationship with him. So he did the first thing that came to mind, lie.

“I got them as a present a few years ago, it just turned into a habit. Alright, your turn. Why do you keep those bows in all day? I mean, your sister isn't here, right? So why not take them out as soon as you're inside?” Michi smiled softly and brought a hand to his hair, fiddling with one of the pink clips pinning back his bangs.

“I don't know, I sort of like it. And she did spend a lot of time on it this morning, I feel bad undoing all her work.” Gyu sighed and laid back, shutting his eyes against the sun.

“Of course it's something like that. You're a little too nice for your own good, Michi.”

“And what's wrong with that? At least I'm not an asshole like you.”

“Okay, I retract that statement, you are mean.” Michi smacked Gyu's arm but laughed, feeling at ease with the older boy by his side.

“Tell me more about your family,” Gyu muttered softly, checking the time. They had a few moments before the bell rang, so he figured he may as well take the time to learn more about Michi.

“Why do you care? You don't seem like the listening type.”

“Just roll with it.” Michi sighed and leaned on his hands.

“Fine. My sister is eleven like I said, and she loves messing with me, even more than you.”

“I doubt that, midget.”

You don't have to live with her, you don't understand. She practically makes a living out of pranking me. Anyway, my dads are really cool, but one of them is sort of...” Gyu tilted his head in confusion, sitting up and gathering his stuff.

“What do you mean?”

“He means well but he can't cook at all. Like, he nearly burned our house down making a birthday cake for me. And he can't drive, either, even though he thinks he can.”

“How bad did he screw up?”

“When I got home from school, he and my sister were covered in flour and the house was nearly flooded from the sprinklers. We ended up going to my favorite restaurant instead since the house had to dry out. It was a great birthday, though, one of my favorites. That was the year we got a puppy, too.” Gyu grinned and stood up, offering a hand to Michi.

“Your family sounds pretty cool, actually. I thought my life was weird, but I think yours wins that battle.”

“I haven't even gotten into the whole squad thing, that would take hours to explain.”

“Squad?” Michi nodded, taking Gyu's hand and holding on for longer than he needed to.

“Yeah, believe me, you don't want to know.” Gyu laughed and opened the door for Michi just as the bell rang.

“Crap, I have to go all the way downstairs,” Michi muttered, rushing off but pausing before he reached the stairs. “Thanks, Gyu, for showing me this place.”

He flushed a deep pink before running down the stairs in hopes of not being late. Gyu just smiled and cleaned up the pillows, remembering that it was likely going to rain the next day. They saw each other again after school, meeting in the auditorium.

“Miss me?” Gyu teased, following the raven head to the front row.

“Hardly.” Michi teased right back, taking a seat next to Gyu and watching as the rest of the cast and crew filed in.

“Is your brother in here?” Michi asked, glancing around.

“Over there, with the stupid white hair.” Gyu pointed to a tall male a few rows away, who took notice and waved with a bright smile on his face.

“He looks nice.” Michi waved back before Gyu grabbed his arm gently, pulling him back to his seat.

“Don't trust him, he may look normal but he's a fucking sadist,” Gyu growled under his breath and trained his eyes on the stage.

“I still don't think he can be that bad, you're exaggerating.”

“Youll see.” Their conversation was interrupted by Yoichi stepping onto the stage, switching on the microphone.

“Hello everyone, thank you all for coming here today. I know you all met me for auditions, but my name is Mr. Saotome-Kimizuki, but just call me Yoichi. Today is really just an introduction, we aren't going to rehearse quite yet. So, does anyone have any questions?” A girl in the back raised her hand.

“Um, which version of the play are we doing?” She asked shyly, sitting back down quickly.

“Ooh, good one. This year, for the sake of everyone's sanity, we are doing a modern version of Romeo and Juliet. Don't worry if you only have the original script, I have the new ones right here.” Everyone chatted among themselves as the scripts were handed out, looking over their lines quickly.

“Everyone have a script?” A chorus of confirmations flood the room and Yoichi smiled.

“Perfect. Anything else before we start up the games?”

“Games?” One boy called, confused.

“We're going to play a few little games to get to know each other. I know it may sound silly but knowing the other actors is really important.” Another girl spoke up, her face pink.

“Is there going to be a kiss scene?” Yoichi giggled and his eyes glinted.

“Yep, during the party there will be a kiss scene. No one has a problem with that, right?” Michi's eyes widened and he flushed a deep red. He glanced at Gyu, who had an odd expression on his face. The room fell silent as Yoichi waited for a response from the two.

'I can't kiss him, it's too much, what if he thinks I like him?' Michi's worries overcame rational thinking as he chewed his nail. Next to him, Gyu wasn't sure what he should do. On one hand, he wanted to kiss Michi, wanted it more than anything. But a small part of him was resistant, scared that Michi would realize Gyu's feelings and run away.

“Gyurei, Michi? Should we get rid of the kiss scene?” Yoichi asked, a hopeful look spread across his features.

“N-no, I can handle it.” Michi forced out, already regretting his decision. He turned to Gyu, who nodded.

“If I'm going to this whole play thing, I may as well do it all the way.” A few cheers sounded from a group of girls and Shiren sent a knowing smirk at Gyu, who shot him an evil look.

“Then we'll keep the scene. Can my Romeo and Juliet please come on stage for a second?” Michi nodded and ran up the stairs, smiling nervously at the crowd. Gyu followed and had his hands on his hips as the other actors looked him over in disbelief.

“So, to anyone who didn't know, these are the leads for the play. Michi here is playing Juliet while Gyurei is our wonderful Romeo.” Michi waved and glared at Gyu, who awkwardly did the same.

“I want you all to get to know each other, so if everyone else, including understudies, would come up on stage for a short game, that would be great,” Yoichi grinned as upwards of thirty kids made their way over, sitting in a large circle. Shiren immediately moved to sit next to Michi but Gyu pulled the smaller boy away quickly, taking a spot across from Shiren.

“I didn't mind sitting next to him, we didn't have to move.”

“I don't want him near you.” Michi huffed and pulled his arm from Gyu's grip.

“Look, Gyu, you can't control me. You don't even know me that well, I'm not your pet.” Gyu scowled but forced a nod, scooting away from Michi.

“Fine.” He muttered, staring at the floor.

“Don't be that way, I'm not mad.”

“Neither am I, I'm just saying you should avoid my brother.” “We'll see, alright? I get that you don't trust him but I think you're being a little silly. Just give me a chance to see for myself.” Gyu remained silent as Yoichi explained the game, moving the slightest bit closer to Michi.

“So, most of you have played this game already, I'm sure, but this is Never Have I Ever. Basically, we go around the circle and when it's your turn you say something you haven't done and everyone else puts down a finger if they have done it. First to put down all their fingers first loses. I'm just going to work on some stuff in the back, so have fun.” Yoichi waved as he made his way to the back of the theater, leaving the students to themselves.

“Who wants to start?” A girl asked, glancing around.

“I will,” Shiren grinned, looking pointedly at Gyu. “Never have I ever, hmm, never have I ever worn pink hair clips before.” He teased, smirking. Many pairs of eyes followed Shiren's gaze to Gyu's hair, still pinned up with Michi's barrettes.

“Asshole,” Gyu muttered, him and Michi both putting down a finger, as well as most of the girls. By the time it got to Gyu's turn the raven head was already down a full hand, Michi to six fingers.

“Alright, never have I ever let my 'not boyfriend' tie me up and lick vanilla pudding off of me.” The room broke into giggles as Shiren put down a finger without even skipping a beat.

“Low blow, Gyu-nii. At least I don't have a-” Gyu cut him off with a heated glare. Shiren just laughed and crossed his arms, smiling at Michi, who smiled back.

“Your turn.” Gyu poked Michi's arm and the younger boy nodded.

“Umm, never have I ever kissed anyone?” Michi turned pink as nearly every person put down a finger, pulling his knees to his chest.

“Wait, really?” Gyu asked quietly as the next person in the circle went.

“Yeah, is that so weird?”

“I guess not, I mean, I just thought you would have by now.” Michi shook his head and paid attention to the game, slowly being worn down to a single finger, as well as Gyu. Once again, it was back to Shiren. He wore a dangerous smirk as he thought of something to say, something that would humiliate his brother.

“Never have I ever had an emo phase,” Gyu growled and moved to stand but Michi grabbed his hand, keeping him anchored.

“You fucking douche.” He yelled as multiple people crowded around Shiren, looking at a photo on his phone.

“You had an emo phase?”

“Maybe.” Gyu murmured, glaring daggers at Shiren. Michi giggled and scooted over to Shiren, sneaking a glance at the picture.

“Oh my god, Gyu, that's hilarious.” Michi couldn't stop laughing, clutching his stomach.

“Shut up, that photos been edited.”

“No, it hasn't, Michi-chan, don't listen to him,” Shiren smirked, standing up. “Now, since Gyu-nii lost, what should his punishment be?” The room went silent for a moment before one girl raised a hand.

“He's playing Romeo, right? He should kiss Juliet.” Nearly everyone in the room nodded while Gyu and Michi desperately try to deter the inevitable.

“Guys, we don't have to do this, it's just a game.” Gyu nodded, trying not to strangle his brother.

“Seriously, this is stupid.” Shiren just smirked and helped the two raven-heads to their feet, pushing them together.

“Alright, you two, kiss.” A crowd surrounded them, waiting.

“A-are we really go to...”

“I don't think we have a choice, Shiren isn't going to let this go and we can't go anywhere.” Michi flushed bright red when Gyu wrapped his arms around him, their chests pressing together.

“Just go fast, okay?” Gyu felt bad, seeing Michi this way. The boy was clearly uncomfortable, sapphire eyes trained on the floor and refusing to meet Gyu's gaze. He didn't want to steal Michi's first kiss, not like this. It felt wrong, with so many people watching in sick amusement. So he lifted Michi's chin, their eyes meeting, and leaned down close, breath mingling.

“Don't worry, I won't do anything,” Gyu muttered before his lips came into contact with Michi's smooth cheek. The small boy squeaked and turned red but didn't pull away, even as the crowd around them cheered. When the two moved away from each other Shiren looked annoyed, arms crossed. Gyu just smirked and took Michi by the arm, grabbing both their bags and storming off. They made it all the way outside before stopping, taking a seat on a bench by the parking lot.

“You didn't have to do that for me,” Michi muttered, his face flushed as he breathed heavily.

“Maybe not, but I wasn't going to let that asshole win.” Gyu passed Michi his bag and the two sat in silence for a while, shooting the tiniest bit closer.

“Thank you, Gyu,” Michi smiled and hugged his bag to his chest, checking his phone.

“Crap, not again.” He muttered, tugging at his hair in frustration. Gyu looked over in confusion, toying with his ring of keys.

“What happened?”

“My dads, they can't pick me up for another hour. My sister got in trouble at school and they have to talk with the principal.” Michi groaned and hung his head, preparing himself for a long afternoon.

“Get up, I'll drive you.” Gyu tossed his keys in the air and caught them easily, grinning.

“No, it's alright, I don't mind waiting.” Michi forced a smile and pulled up a game on his phone, biting back the urge to change his mind.

“Liar. Come on, it's not like I have anything better to do with my afternoon.” Gyu held out a hand which Michi took, getting onto his feet. They wound their way through the parking lot until Gyu found his car, a bright blue convertible shining in the sun.

“Is this really yours?” Michi asked, his eyes lighting up.

“Yep, a gift from my parents for my sixteenth. Technically it's my brother's car as well, but he can find his own ride.” Michi giggled as Gyu tossed their stuff into the truck and opened the passenger side for the smaller boy.

“Thanks,” Michi smiled widely as Gyu began to pull off campus, leaning back against the soft leather seats.

“Put your address in here.” Gyu handed his phone to Michi, who quickly tapped in his street name.

“I get it now, why you hate your brother so much. I mean, he's not as bad as you said, but I don't really like him.” Gyu nodded and turned slightly, taking a hand off the wheel to ruffle Michi's hair. The raven head immediately ducked away, annoyed.

“Stop doing that!”

“Sorry, shrimp, not gonna happen. And it's like I told you, he loves to ruin people's lives. Don't trust him, no matter how nice he acts.” Michi nodded and shut his eyes for a moment, relaxing.
“Oh, um, by the way...”

“Hmm?” Gyu replied, amethyst eyes flickering to Michi's still frame.

“Did Shiren... did that story really happen?” Michi turned bright red at the thought but he was too curious not to ask.

“The pudding thing? Yeah, that was true. Him and Kimito, they aren't very good at locking doors.”

“Does that happen a lot?”

“More than I would like, which is not at all.” Michi laughed, pink still dusting his cheeks.

“Wow, that's insane, I feel bad for you. But I know how it feels too, I walked in on my parents once.” Gyu broke into laughter, wiping at his eyes.

“Oh my god, you poor guy, how old were you?”

“I was ten, I'm still scarred by the experience. After it happened they gave me the talk, which ended in me throwing up.” Michi shuddered at the memory, shaking his head.

“Aww, poor little bunny.” Gyu couldn't stop giggling, even as he pulled into Michi's driveway.

“Alright, here you go. Now shoo.” He teased, waving Michi off.

“Wait, you won't come in? I can get you a snack or something.”

“Nah, not this time. But, if you really want to thank me, then give me your number.” Gyu smirked, holding out his phone. Michi blushed and took it, passing his own to Gyu. They switched back and Michi hopped out, circling the car to the drivers side.

“Thanks again, Gyu, it was really nice of you to drive me home. And also for what you did at school, I just... thank you.” Michi was red all the way down his neck, hands clasped in front of him as he locked eyes with Gyu.

“You're welcome. Now say cheese!” Gyu grinned mischievously as he raised his phone, snapping a picture of Michi's shocked face.

“What the...? Hey, delete that!” Michi cried, reaching through the open window to try and steal the phone.

“Nope!” Gyu laughed, stretching his arm away from Michi and grinning.

“Too short to reach?” He teased, smile fading when Michi figured out that the doors were still unlocked. The angry raven head pulled open the driver side door and flung himself inside, sprawling across Gyu's lap as he fought for the phone. Gyu blushed as Michi squirmed on top of him, trying to push away the indecent thoughts that flooded his mind.

“Alright, alright, get off of me, midget. I'll show you the picture, but I'm not deleting it.” Michi sighed but did as Gyu said, quickly realizing the position he was in.

“Show me and maybe I'll let you keep it,” Gyu smirked as he scrolled through his gallery, pulling up the photo.

“Here, take a look. It isn't even that bad.” Michi took the phone and a small smile appeared on his face. It really wasn't as terrible as he had feared, although it certainly wasn't the greatest. In the picture Michi's eyes were wide with surprise, his hair looking almost blue in the light, much like his eyes.

“See?”

“Fine, you can keep it. But don't do that again, it's mean to take pictures when people aren't ready.” Gyu smiled and ruffled Michi's hair again, a dangerous move with the boy already so riled up.

“I'll see you tomorrow?”

“Yeah, I guess so. Do you, maybe, want to have lunch with me again?” Gyu nodded, trying to force down his blush.

“Sounds good. Bye, midget.”

“Bye, asshole.” Michi parroted back with a grin, waving as Gyu drove off. When Gyu made it to his own house he rushed upstairs, ignoring a comment from his twin. Once alone in his own room, he pulled out his phone and opened the picture of Michi, staring at it for a moment. Before he could get too lost in the smaller boys endless eyes and slightly chubby cheeks, he saved it as Michi's contact photo, along with a name.
