The time was around 9:23PM, Rui was peacefully reading something in his bed as he wore his reading glasses(hc that rui wears contact lenses but still needs glasses🙏), he promised himself a while ago that he’d start reading a manga he got recommended but kept going on for a whole year saying “I really can’t lately” or “Don’t feel like it”.
That was until yesterday, while he was randomly out shopping, he noticed a sale being held in the manga shop he sometimes goes, and coincidentally, there were for sale about 5 mangas of the manga that he got recommended a long ago, and Rui happened to still have some money left, just enough to get them all.
So there he was, sitting on his bed, with the first volume of Saiki K in his hand, peacefully reading with no interruptions—
Zzzzzzzz……
…
Ah, right, there was also Tsukasa, peacefully sleeping on Rui’s chest.
One important thing that i so happen to have forgotten, is that just 1 week ago (precisely on valentine’s day even!) Tsukasa just so happens to have confessed his love to Rui, and of course Rui exchanged his feelings and they became official just the day after, so they settled on the fact that it would be cool if they had their first sleepover as an official couple.
But anyways back to the present.
Rui took his eyes off the manga panel and instead looked at his snoring boyfriend, he sighed softly and smiled, holding the manga volume with one hand, the other started caressing the blonde’s head, gently placing a forehead kiss on him, thankfully Tsukasa was a heavy sleeper(?) and did not wake up for that.
Rui went back to reading, that was until after 20 minutes, Tsukasa stretched his arms and wrapped them around Rui’s waist, Rui noticed that and left a bookmark on the page of the manga before putting away his reading glasses, the future star then turned up his head and found the stage director looking at him with a smile as he continued gently caressing the back of his head.
“ ‘Morning Kasa, slept well?” Rui asked, before replying, he turned his head towards the window and then looked at Rui again.
”…Rui it’s night, what do you mean…”
”Ehh same thing, slept well?” Rui asked once again, Tsukasa nodded and snuggled his head on Rui’s chest again, the purple haired boy hummed softly and started running his thumb at the back of Tsukasa’s head, not long after, he yawned and stretched his back but stopped once he realised Tsukasa had once again fallen asleep.
Rui(also feeling tired) put the manga on his nightstand, turned off the table lamp and shifted him and Tsukasa into a more comfortable position(all without waking him up of course.) and placed a gentle kiss on the blonde’s forehead before also drifting to sleep.
