Sirius was leaving potions class. He was chatting with Marlene when someone pull him by his shirt collar.
“Oi! What the hell was that?” asked Sirius to his brother.
Regulus had an extremely bored look on his face, as if his big brother didn´t intimidate him anymore. “We need to talk.”
Sirius searches for James' gaze. The curly haired boy was standing next to Regulus, with a bouquet on his hand and both his and Reggie´s satchels on his shoulders. “Don´t worry, Pads, everything is alright.” James elbowed his boyfriend lightly. “Is just-- remember last year Valentine's Day?”
“How could I forget? I had to carry you drunk back to the castle and you and Reggie forgot to put on a silencing charm.” Sirius made a gesture as if gagging.
“Before that, Sirius,” said James unimpressed. The last bell chimed all over the castle. They should really get going. Regulus had potions, but James and Sirius ought to get to care of magical creatures lesson by Hagrid´s Hut.
“Oh, you mean the Puddifoot fiasco?” said Sirius with a grimace.
“Yeah, that.” James said as he gave Regulus his bouquet and satchel, it was almost time for the lessons to start.
“What about it?”
“Well you see, it was all a big misunderstanding.” James started. Regulus scoffed as his fellow classmates started entering the classroom. “Remus told us that actually his, you know, furry little problem, got in the way.”
“What are you talking about, Prongs? That day was not a full moon, I would remember.” Sirius tilted his head deep in thought. “Or was it?”
“Mr. Black, I suggest you enter the classroom, I´m about to take attendance.” warned Slughorn, to Regulus.
“Oh you gryffindors are dense as they come.” said Regulus giving James a peck on the lips. “Remus wants you to get him flowers for Valentine's Day.”
Sirius gaped at his brother. “Oh, okay. Yeah.”
Regulus waved a hand dismissively and entered the classroom. Slughorn shut the door after Regulus. James and Sirius made their way to magical creatures lessons. “I can get him flowers,” said Sirius smiling sheepishly at the prospect of pleasing his boyfriend. “I already bought him the book tho.”
James shocked his head, smiling. Both friends made their way to their next lesson. Not before stopping by the greenhouses.
