As haruki got off the bus he did leave the bus stop right away he sat there for a while trying to make sure he had his thoughts calm. He didn't want to show he's mom that he was nervous about been at her house for a few weeks.. After what felt like an hour haruki got up and started walking to his mom's house the walk was long quiet something that he was used to while until he met minase.. But he shouldn't be thinking about him right now he..he had to keep his mind off of him and minase memories just for a while.. After a while as haruki saw his mom house he stopped he wanted to be with his mom even if it was for just a few weeks..but her husband.. haruki knew that her new husband didn't like him or what he met to her, haruki only ever saw him once when he was in middle school he was gald that that was the only time he saw him.. that man look at him like he was the bane of his mother's existence.. The first time they met was horrible but there's nothing haruki can do to change it "Haruki!" Haruki's eyes widen he knows that voice of course he does that's his mother.. But haruki couldn't move he was frozen he wanted to move but it was like he's feet where glued to the cement that was under him.. Hes mother was running to him she was running to haruki but he couldn't say anything he's body couldn't move.. "Oh haruki!" Her running became slower and when she got closer she hugged him her arm went under harukis and her head met haruki shoulder "You should have told me you where coming i would have gone and picked you up" Haruki mouth was opening and closing bit nothing came out...instead he hugged her back silently "Haruki?" Haruki promised he wouldn't cry infront on his mom but his tear where threating to fall "I..I missed you.." Haruki closed his eyes it was a normal cool day but now that he was in his mother's arms it felt less cool "Haruki..I'm here now"
Haruki nodded but he had one thought
for long can we together?
Haruki mom rubbed his back for a while before she spoke again
"Haruki why don't we go in now we can talk more"
Haruki arms slowly let his mom go and nodded
"Okay" and as soon as he did she stepped back her hands that huddled him where now on his cheeks
"Haruki don't be nervous or worried no one will ever hurt you again i swear not while I'm with you"
Haruki wasnt sure if he should be happy that she said that or upset that those are the same words that she said the day before she left haruki with the man he had to call dad..
"Come on let's go home" she smiles as she jold haruki had and walks hand in hand with him.
haruki body moved he didn't it would he felt as if he whole body would freeze and stay in place until minase found him again..but it's moving for his mother and for his new future
It terrified him
The fact the he was coming back into his mom's life with here new husband and her new kid hinata was adorable but what if she felt like did like haruki anymore..
As those thoughts raced in his mind his mom keep talking to him
She probably knew he wouldn't reply that very moment but she talked about the sea ans how it was so vast it looked like it was never ending.
"The sea is so long and so vast even though it looks like it's never ending it has a starting point and an ending point it cover half the world after all"
The walk to haruki mom's house wasn't long it was about 8 minutes away by walking but 4 by car if she had picked him up from the bus stop he wished how she knew how he was walking to the house..
The moment they got to the stairs she turned around to haruki "Haruki ready??"
Haruki looked up from their hands to look at her
"yeah.. I am"
She smiles as she opens the gate to the stairs and starts going up them
"hinata missed you a lot she likes hanging out with you she loves her big brother a lot"
Haruki grips his duffel bag why was she telling him this? Was it to make him feel better?
"You know shes starting to say her words maybe she will say your name one day" she laughs
Haruki knew it wasn't going to happen he wasn't staying with them for that long..there's no way hinata would say his name..
"Oh my we got up pretty fast" she laughs as she took the last step she walks forward a bit to let haruki get his last step as he does eyes lock on the house..
Hes been here before to visit for the week ended or just for a day to be with his mom but now..hes here to stay for a few weeks till he gets ready to move to the droms of his new school
"Come haruki let's go inside hinata and Yuuto are waiting for us" she smiles as she walks to the door hand in hand with haruki.
As she opens the door she's greeting with a giggles and a hello "I'm back" she says as she let's go of haruki hand to hold the door ro let him in
As haruki looks at her she smiles but then haruki looks at her husband yuuto.. "hello..mochizuki" Haruki bows his hard
"Haruki you don't need to do that come here" his mom's says as she holds the door she grabs his arm being him inside the house
Haruki raises his head as she pulls him inside Yuuto moves back as she does giving him space to walk in to living room
"She's right you don't need to do that this is your home for a moment" Yuuto says as hinata giggles and moves in his arms
"Haruki come let's put your stuff in the room and then talk about stuff" his mom smiles ans says in a cheery voice.
She says it like it's that's easy..
Haruki nods "Okay I'll go out my stuff in the room" he looks back and forth from his mom and her husband..
This is so awkward..
haruki doesn't feel at home at all..
maybe that's just how he's ment to feel..
Haruki walks in to the house it really not different from when he came last time with minas-
Haruki freezes as he gets close to the room
"Haruki? What's wrong? Do you not want to go into the room" Haruki mom says from behind him
Haruki takes a deep breath before he turns back to look at her
"No that's not it just thinking about something" he tried to smile at her but he knows it's not nice one...
He turns back to keep walking to the room as the memories of minase and him go though his mind
His heart is beating so fast
Hes heart feels as if it's going to pop out and run back to minase..
The moment haruki hand touched the door handle
He remembers how minase and him cuddled the morning after..
"Shit.." Haruki whispers low enough for them not to hear him
Haruki has been away from minase for lest than 4 hours and his already thinking of him..
Minase Jin was never going to leave his mind he was sure about that.
As she opened the door he felt the coldness of the room it was summer but the room had a coldness to it haruki was a bit thankful for that
Haruki walked in and put his stuff on the long bench that was in the room.
Ah..haruki was getting dejavu...
He closed his eyes for a bit taking in the feeling of the room and takes a deep breath
"I'll see you soon minase..please wait for me till I become someone who can stand by your side"
Haruki smiles to himself as he turns to leave the room to head to the living room
As haruki walked in the living he's mother smiled and walked to him holding his hand taking him to sit on the couch where hinata and mr.mochizuki where playing
"Haruki welcome home" she says as they sit down on the couch
Haruki eyes widen a bit..he wasnt expecting her to say that he hasn't heard anyone say that to him in years..
He doesn't even remember the last time someone had told him that with such a warm and happy tune
"Y-yeah.." Haruki didn't know how to reply to her
"Haruka are you going to tell him about the new school?" Mochizuki asks as hos eyes sre still on hinata
"Oh yes haruki the new school youth going to is very welcoming i had a talk with the teachers and they all can't wait to welcome you" she smiles as she squeezes he's hand
"Is that so?" Haruki smiles back her "when will I be starting?"
"Next week don't worry ill help you pick everything you need for school we can go shopping together" she nodded and looks at mr.mochizuki "right honey?"
Mochizuki looks at his mom then haruki "that's right it well be an outing for all of us it would be nice"
Haruki didn't miss the small hesitance in his voice...
That man doesn't like hirukawa..
But his mom doesn't notice how could she...she just wants all of us to be together even if it's for a small while
Haruki nods "i can't wait..it's going to be fun"
Haruki mom smiles at him and just looks at him for a while
"Haruka.. if you just stare at him hes going to feel uncomfortable.."mr.mochizuki says as he looks over at them
"Oh my bad I'm just happy haruki is here with us" she looks down and squeezes haruki hand one more time before she gets up
"Well I'll go make lunch Yuuto come help me please" she looks at him as he looks back at her "of course honey I'll be there in a minute"
She nods and walks to the kitchen
Haruki watchs her as she does but he hears his name being called
"Hirukawa.." Mochizuki says his name as he looks at him
"Work hard and don't make your mother worry about you while in this school..I know what happened won't disappear but work to make it your past don't let it lead you to hurt your mom while you live here with us"
He gets up off the floor
With haruki sitting and him standing..
It feels like a his trying to be big while infront of haruki..
All haruki can do is nod
Mochizuki sighs "I'm saying this for your own good that's all"
He walks away from the living room As he heads to the kitchen leaving haruki and hinata alone
Haruki looks at hinata on the floor and immediately goes to her and gives her a small smile
"Hinata hey" she responds with giggles as she plays with her toys
As he kept looking at her smiling he felt a small pain in his heart..
haruki looked at hinata and saw her smile at him..
he wondered if he would be able to help her grow up to be a nice and happy baby something he wasnt able to become himself..
"I'll work hard..i swear.." Haruki said it but he wasnt really sure he was saying it to..
He just wanted to say it to make sure someone anyone heard it...
He swears on the soul he'll work hard to be someone fit to stand next to his heart..
