A tired Aizawa walks (read: rushes) into a police station and sighs heavily. “What did you do now, Problem Child?” Midoriya looks over to Aizawa with a sheepish smile on his face. “I escaped the Lov by throwing a piano at them?” Aizawa pauses, thinks for a moment, looks over Midoriya, checking to make sure he is not gravely injured before walking over to the nearest wall and hitting his head on it repeatedly. “Sensei, are you alright?” Midoriya asks cautiously. “No, Problem Child, I am not alright.” Aizawa replies as he continues to hit his head against the wall. Midoriya is pretty sure he hears Aizawa-sensei mutter something about being too sober for this and not being paid enough, as well something about life choices.
Looking back to what started all of this, he does feel kind of bad for his teacher. It all started when Midoriya just left campus to go to the convenience store. All he wanted was to grab a couple of things for a movie night some of his friends wanted to host. How was he supposed to know that the League would kidnap him when he exited the store? Once he had gained his bearings again, he found he had been tied to a chair and was facing the leader of the League of Villions, or the supposed leader. “What do you want with me, Shigaraki?” Midoriya had demanded from Shigaraki. The villain had only chuckled before saying, “We want you to join us, little hero!” Midoriya fell quiet at that, not knowing what to say.
Had the League not learned from the Bakugou incident that heroes could not be turned to their side? Taking Midoriya’s silence as a sign to continue, Shigaraki started to monologue about how becoming a villain would be great. Midoriya just tuned him out. Instead, he focused on observing his surroundings. Aizawa would be proud! As he was looking around, he noticed a window, a window that led to the outside. Before he knew it, he had jumped through the window and landed hard in an alleyway outside. He had thought they were at least a story or two up, but no. They were on the ground level.
Looking up, Midoriya spots Dabi sticking his head out the window to look at him. “What did you do that for?” Dabi questions, but Midoriya just ignores him. He rolls over onto his feet and sprints down the alleyway. Behind him, he can hear muttered curses and broken glass being stepped on. Then he hears footsteps following after him. Reaching into his hair, Midoriya feels something metal at his fingertips. Grabbing it, he pulls out a crowbar and ducks around a corner. Pausing just after turning the corner, he turns around and waits until one set of footsteps is just about to turn the corner before swinging with all his might and striking the person in the knees. Dabi folds like a wet noodle, cursing crowbars and wondering where the kid got one.
Midoriya turns and keeps running, stuffing the crowbar back into his hair. Running through the alleyways again, Midoriya hears another person coming up behind him. Turning, Midoriya grabs a bag of marbles from his hair and dumps them all over the ground. Just to be safe, he does the same with two more bags of marbles. He turns just in time to see Toga come flying down the alleyway. Sprinting away, Midoriya hears a large crash sound and the curses of yet another person, this time wondering where he got the from. Midoriya keeps running, Surely, he should be nearing an exit to the alleyway system soon, right?
Hearing yet another pair of footsteps behind him, Midoriya turns and pulls out a fish and throws it directly into Shigaraki’s face. They both stand there for a second, looking at each other before Midoriya sprints off yet again. “Where did you get the fish?” came a confused shout from behind him, along with Shigaraki’s footsteps. “I have the fish bowl for it, too!” was Midoriya’s reply as he pulled it out of his hair as well and let it go behind him. A crash was heard, as well as the sound of many pebbles scattering all around the alleyway. If Midoriya were to listen closely, he could also hear Shigaraki curse him, fishtanks, and the fish itself. He would also hear how Shigaraki wondered where he got the items.
It was when Midoriya turned into a dead end that the entire League caught up with him. Turning, he faced them with his back pressed against the alleyway’s wall. “Give it up, little hero. You’ve got nowhere to hide.” Shigaraki says as he moves closer to Midoriya. “Stay back, Shigaraki!” Is Midoriya’s only reply. The rest of the League and Shigaraki only smile as they inch closer still. “I’m warning you, stay back!” Midoriya says as he reaches into his hair and feels long wooden pegs. Not heeding his warnings, the League and Shigaraki come even closer. “I said stay back!” and with all his might, Izuku pulls an entire piano from his hair. Shigaraki’s last panicked words before he and the rest of the League were hit with the piano were, “WHERE DID HE GET THE PIANO FROM?”It is then that Midoriya remembers he has a quirk, and he uses it to jump onto the building blocking his way.
Midoriya eventually finds a police station after wandering the streets for 15 minutes trying to find one. That leads us to now, where Midoriya is recounting this entire tale to a tired Aizawa and a tired-looking Detective Naomasa. “So you're telling me that you ran into the Lov, got kidnapped by them, ran away from them while hitting them with various random objects, and managed to get away un-hurt?” Asks Detective Naomasa. Midoriya only nods his head in agreement. At this point, Aizawa looks like he wants to give up on life and retire. “Take him back to UA Earaser. We’ll take care of it from here.” Is all Detective Naomasa says after a moment. Aizawa does just that, and if he sees Midoriya pull a random small traumatized-looking purple-haired child on their way back to UA that he just so happens to remember as his missing student from the first day, well, he won’t say anything. There must have been a good reason, right?
