Cosmo and Sprout slowly walk down the hallway, Cosmo holding Pebble’s leash and Sprout overthinking his mistake.
“H-Hey,” Sprout barely manages to get out. “What do you, like. Wanna have me do..?”
“Hmm, I don’t know,” Cosmo replies. “Maybe you can do the rest of my list for me? Oh! And you can make me some cookies!”
Sprout nods his head, taking Pebble’s leash and treats.
“Sounds good!” Sprout pridefully says. “You can go back to your room if you want.”
Cosmo gives Sprout a thumbs up as he turns back down the hallway.
Sprout takes himself to the kitchen and turns on the oven to make some cookies.
Meanwhile Cosmo ponders about Sprout, pointing out all the things he liked about him.
Cosmo’s eyes grew heavy, he tried to fight back against the tempting urge of sleep. Despite his attempts, Cosmo drifted off to sleep.
This should be his room, Sprout thought to himself.
Knock knock
No response.
Knock knock
“Cosmo, are you in there buddy?” Sprout asked through the door. “I did your chores, dropped off Pebble, and made you some cookies!”
Sprout waited for a minute and got impatient so he cracked the door open.
Through the crack he saw Cosmo, curled up on his bed asleep.
Sprout smirked at how cute he looked, he didn’t want to wake him up, but his cookies won't eat themselves.
“Hey,” Sprout whispered. “C’mon, Cosmo. Wake up buddy, I did everything you asked me to do.”
Cosmo’s head shifted, and he slightly opened his eyes.
“H-Huh,” Cosmo mumbled. “Sprout, i-is that you?”
“Yes sleepy head,” Sprout chuckled. “Now wake up and eat some cookies.”
Cosmo got up and rubbed his eyes, taking one of the cookies.
“Mhm,” Cosmo grunted. “What time is it?”
“Quarter past Twelve,” Sprout stated.
“Damn,” Cosmo scoffed. “My sleep schedule is fucked . Well I guess I’ll take a shower, oh, and I don’t mind if you stay the night. You probably need cuddles.”
Sprout tilted his head into the bathroom door accidentally peeking on Cosmo undressing.
At the sight of this his face turned into a deep shade of red.
“Okay,” Sprout nervously stuttered. “I’ll, uhm. Just be waiting then.”
Sprout laid down on the bed, curled up under the covers as the faint dripping of the shower could be heard from the outside.
After around 8 minutes, the light from the bathroom seeped into the dorm.
Cosmo came out of the bathroom shirtless, but, hot .
“Oh, uhm,” Sprout whispered while patting the portion of bed beside him. “Do you wanna, lay down.”
Cosmo nodded his head in agreement, laying down beside him.
“Your body, it's,” Sprout shuddered. “I-It’s perfect.”
Sprout pulls Cosmo close to him, both their eyelids getting heavy.
“Goodnight Sprout,” Cosmo whispered softly into Sprout’s ear. “I love you.”
“I love you too, Cosmo,” Sprout responded.
